And so in the Old Testament, God revealed Himself to man through many different ways to our forefathers, through prophets, at many different times, and in many, many various ways. He is not limited to how we want God to reveal himself. Many different ways, many different people many different times. That’s what the Old Testament is about, is how he did that. Now you’re going to see the contrast, but but total contrast. In these last days, he has spoken to us by his Son. So God revealed what he wanted man to know about God, through His prophets, and the different men of God that he used in the Old Testament to let them know what he wanted them to know about God at that particular time, and in that particular way. But in these last days, he said, I am going to give you all that you can take to know about God. And I’m going to reveal something about God that was never revealed in the Old Testament. I’m going to show you about the unconditional love, and the unconditional grace of God, and I’m gonna manifest that to you in its fullness through my Son, Jesus Christ. And that’s why the Son of God, the Lord, Jesus Christ, Himself came to this world. And he was full, filled up to the major of grace and of truth. And when you and I are going to come to Christ, we’re going to have to come to him with the knowledge of His truth, and of His grace. That’s what he is full of.

And so the Old Testament revealed the judgment of God and the wrath of God. And it revealed His dealing with the nation of Israel, that he certainly did in the Old Testament. He did in the beginning stages of the introduction of the gospel, they were set on the backburner as far as the nation of Israel is concerned. And he said in the last days, I’m going to come back, there’s going to be full revelation again, and all of Israel is going to come to the Lord. In the interim period, I’m going to take the gospel app to the Gentile nations, that does not mean Hebrews as a remnant are not going to come to Christ are going to come to Christ all over the place. But as far as that final dealing with this nation of Israel, that’s going to come at a point in time, and I’m going to complete that work. And all Israel is going to be saved. That’s something looked forward to and that’s the end times I think we’re approaching them. So that’s the kind of good news and bad news bad news is we’re gonna have an Armageddon, the good news, all of Israel’s gonna come to the Lord. Gonna see Him whom they pierced and realize that is who we pierced.

I had a conversation I was talking about this on the radio the other day, I’ll never forget a conversation that I had with a rabbi in San Bernardino, California. And it was a dear guy, and we sat down and and, in fact, we went up to arrowhead springs where I was, and we stood up there and talked at great length about the things of the Lord. And it was at a period of time when there was a little bit of anti semitic overtones that were taking place. I don’t remember why that was occurring. But it was occurring. And I had mentioned to him I said, Rabbi, if you are ever in a situation where persecution hits the Jew in this country, again, the one place that you will be able to go for refuge are the born again, Christians, not the World Council of Churches that you’re relying on. But Born Again Christians, true regenerate, born again, Christians. In a born again, Christian, is a supernatural love for the Jew. And we talked about that. We went through many of the misconceptions that had that he Christians looked say that Jews are Christ killers, and I rabbi I killed Jesus. We all killed Jesus. man sins is what killed Jesus. It’s interesting that he used both the Jew to encourage and the Gentile to carry it out. So it’s all involved. We’re all involved in that deal. You never heard that before. Interesting, never heard of before. We talked on and on. I asked him the question rabbi, do you believe that the Messiah at the Messiah is going to come? Yes, I do. What kind of a person do you think he’s going to be? And he went ahead to explain. And I said, let me ask you a question. How much better do you think this Messiah that you’re talking about is going to be than Jesus was? How many more miracles do you think this Messiah is going to perform? How much more love do you think this Messiah is going to have toward the fellow man than this Jesus did? Just how much greater is this Messiah that you’re looking for? Going to have to be than Jesus of Nazareth? He just sit there and look. And I finally said, Rabbi, let me ask you a question. In the end times, when the Messiah does come, and He indeed I also believe he will. What if, when you look upon him, it turns out to be Jesus of Nazareth. And he looked at me and grand and said it was And surprise me one bit. So that’s the good news that is going to occur. And in the meantime, the revelation all that God wanted you and me to know about the Word of God, and to know about him, has been revealed in the person of Jesus Christ.

Now it goes ahead and to say that all in these last days, he has spoken to us now so that we can know the completion of God, by His Son, Jesus, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. Everything then was created by Jesus, all things were created, as we talked about last week by Him and for Him, and nothing was made that was not made by him. He therefore said that the Son Jesus, and he’s now talking about him in his physical form, he’s talking about the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit of God, born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit, came into this earth, taking upon himself, our Earth suit, our humanity, this Jesus, that God, allowed to be made to be born, He is the first born from among the dead. And God engineered that himself. Whereby, in essence, it’s like the Trinity setting and saying, in order to show these people, these, the man that we created to show them what we are really like, because they sure are confused, let’s take upon ourselves, their humanity, until they can see the exact radiance of God, not only to see what God is like, but to enable them to see for the first time since Adam before the fall, what man is to be like, that is man from God’s vantage point, not the puny representation that we see today. But God from man from God’s vantage point. And so in Christ, we saw for the first time what true man was meant to be, since before Adam fell, if you took a person from a planet who came to this earth, and before coming to the earth, set up there and said, we understand that we can know God. Is that right? Yes, we understand that. How do you figure that he said, Well, I heard as this person living on another planet, that God made a creature called man. And that that man, this creature called Man, is the exact representation of God himself. So if we could get to the earth some way and look at man, we can know God, see God, what he’s like. And the people on this other planet say that is a worthy goal. Let’s put our heads together and see if we can develop some kind of a spaceship ship, in order to get us from our planet to this earth so that we can know what God’s like.

And so they put their heads together and their minds together, and they’re ingenius together and their money together. And one day they develop this spaceship that can take them from another planet, and arrive here on Earth. And they land with great anticipation. We’ve landed on this planet earth, that we heard was a place where God had made a creature called man. And he’s the representation of God Himself. And with great anticipation, why they get out of this spaceship, and they look around and they see the trees and maybe they could have seen the ocean on the way down and the beauty of this planet. And as they approached it, they say, I can hardly wait to see this man, this planet, it’s gorgeous. And they look around and they see the different things that they could see and then all of a sudden, why they come in contact with this creature called man. And they look and they see in the gutter. Man, dying and drowning in his own vomit from a drunken stupor and people walking around sticking needles. in their veins, and people walking around killing each other and engaged in all kinds of sexual perversion. They see people cursing each other with the same tongue that they praise God, they curse man. And they ran out and see this human being. They say if this is a representation of what God is, let’s get back in our ship, and go back to our planet, and give up our search for God. And so God looks at this humanity, this fallen humanity. And says, I, once again, as I created Adam, perfect and exact representation of what God was. This time, I’m going to let my creation be more. And they’re going to see what God’s like. And so as I said, from the first time since Adam was created, man got a glimpse of what man was supposed to be like, that is man from God’s vantage point, not from what we have become. And once again, we looked at the Son, Jesus Christ, who was the exact radiance of God’s glory, and the exact representation of his being. So that once again, if you want to know what God was, like, look at Jesus. And you could tell what God was like. Sustaining all things he said, by his powerful word. And the meaning of that, my friends is very simply, and and very pointedly that from the Garden of Eden, where God put a tree in the middle of that garden that was called the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, to say, if you want to know what is right and wrong, good and evil. This is it. This is it.

You can’t eat up that tree man because you cannot determine right from wrong and good from evil. You’re going to have to come to that tree to get that revealed. You can’t determine it on your own and the very moment that you try on your own to determine right from wrong and good from evil. You’re going to become like God, you’re going to think of yourself like God and be able to say I don’t need God to determine what’s right and wrong and good and evil. I’ll determine it I myself. Don’t tell him Hey, there’s something wrong with this. It’s sick. It’s not sin. Don’t tell me I’m not to blame someone else for the way I am. Of course, I’m to blame someone else. Like, that’s what we men have figured out. Don’t come and tell me that. Let me rip that seventh chapter of Romans out of the Bible or that Paul is a male chauvinist anyway, what’s he know? Wrote in there that the things I want to do, I don’t do the things I don’t want to do, I do them anyway. And if I do what I don’t want to do, it’s clear what the problem is. There’s sin living in me! Doesn’t he understand it’s because he had a background or a mother was potty trained too early? Or he hadn’t discovered the little boy in himself yet? You need some teddy bears? Don’t tell me God, that sin is the reason I’m the way I am. Let me shift the blame onto somebody else. Let me blame my mother or my background or somebody else. That’s why I’m the way I am. Certainly don’t. Certainly don’t tell me it’s sin. I don’t even like that word. Let me believe it’s someone else. Don’t ever accuse me of being able to be blamed and be responsible for my own actions. Don’t ever tell me that I am responsible for my own choices. We blame it on somebody else. My miseries not because I’m not experiencing love and joy and peace because of my relationship with God, my misery is cause of you. If you could shape up I’d be happy. My circumstances to change would be happy if I could get a little more money, I’d be happy. If I could live a little better place I’d be happy. Build build a little bigger house be happy. Get a little more educated I’d be then I’d be happy. That’s what’s that’s why all this crimes going on? Because people are uneducated. Isn’t that weird? In World War Two, the most educated nations of the world with Japan, Germany, the United States, what were they doing with their education? Blown the daylights out of each other. Think all you got to do is get people educated, educated and watch stupidity. We’re educated beyond our intelligence anyway. So the world comes in and says that’s what you need, education. That’s the problem with the world. Come up and say no, no, no, it’s not just education. What you need is more money. Well, we’ve seen that don’t worry, if money brought you happiness, where you could drive down Beverly Hills in California and just knock on any door just find bliss. Money is not the answer. Education is not the answer. Success is not the answer. It is as shallow as anything you ever want to see in your life success. What is it to begin with? You can be a total success in one field of endeavor and an absolute failure in another. You can be a successful businessman, a total failure as a husband and a wife, a father, a mother. What is this thing called success? Nice things for success.

So we come up with every idea in the world, don’t we? Because we’ve chosen to go to the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and say I’m going to become like God. I don’t need you God to determine what’s right and wrong, good from evil. We talked about that. The second chapter of John Jesus said I don’t need man’s testimony about man to tell me about man I created you. I don’t need to consult Fraud to find out what your problem is. I created I told you what your problem is. It’s called sin. Quick try to complicate it. Good trying to rationalize it justify it. It’s what it is. The reason I’m miserable inside sometimes cause of sin. Isn’t it you or because you had a mother?

What’s the solution to sin? I mean, that’s good news and bad news. Now if we were left with no solution to sin, like understand why we want to rationalize. I understand why the world wants to rationalize what I don’t understand is why do we as Christians want to rationalize? Why was all free to say, hey, got some good news. What is it? I’m a wretched man. You know a psychiatrist say on that get in there. See he’s got a problem. That guy’s got a problem and he calls himself a wretched man. He’s got a problem. He needs to look in the mirror and say I’m okay. You’re okay Paul. Thinking ourselves to be wise, we become utter fools instead. Can you imagine having to go eight years to medical school to get people looking hugging teddy bears? You say, my God you had to go to school learn that? We as Christians, need to understand something, I can say with joy. I am am a wretched man. If I know that the solution to that has been given to Me in Christ Jesus our Lord, where he was able to say, that’s okay. Because of Christ Jesus, I have been freed from all condemnation. The law of the Spirit of Life set me free from the sin of death. And in the midst of sin that is in my flesh, I have Christ Jesus living in my spirit. And I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Praise God. I’m not denying the wretchedness of my flesh. And I certainly am not denying the gloriousness of Christ Jesus. In and of myself is no good thing left to myself. But with him living in us, it is wonderful. Talk about living in denial my friends, the biggest kind of denial a man could ever live in is denying his own wretchedness. You ought to know that you live inside yourself. You know what you think, don’t you? you know what you feel down in there. Isn’t a just nice, sweet thoughts all the time? I just wake up in the morning just in bliss thinking all the nice things all the time. And that’s the way you live? Well, of course not. You see, we become actors for so long that we believe the act is the reality. We’re scared to death ever let anybody know what we’re really like inside. That’s why we act. That’s why we lie. Because I don’t want anyone to know what I’m really like inside. And so we put up this false face that is front. We’re scared to death to be real, for fear that somebody’s going to find out what I’m really like inside. That’s denial. When we were able to look at ourselves as God sees us, God revealed, all he wanted us to know about man, as Jesus said, I do not need the testimony of man concerning man. I don’t need you, man to tell me about you. I created you. And you may be able to con the people around you. But you can’t con me. I see what goes on in that ticker down there. I see what goes on in that mind. And joy comes from saying in the midst of that, thanks be to God through Jesus Christ, my Lord.

That’s why I love him. there anybody that knows me, like God, He knows me better. And I know me. And He loves me anyway. And he accepts me anyway. And he says, That’s okay, Bob. because when I tell you something, I’m not through with you. And I’m gonna complete the work that I began in. And in the meantime, Bob, had if you were as perfect as you would like people to think, why it take you only about five minutes, that you would be so confident in you that you’d never depend on me again. So it’s really pretty good that you’re in that crudy body that you’re in. Because it does bring you to your senses about 1000 times a day. Doesn’t it? And therefore if anyone ever does see anything good come out of you, they’re gonna know who did it. And so are you. So really, I’ve created quite a nice balance down here, if you’ll just think about it. So why don’t you quit trying to perform and make people think something different than when you are? Be yourself. Let me be me. And God guarantee if you’ll do that people will see something about God occasionally coming through you. I realize it’s gonna be a little hard to get through that. But I am powerful enough to do that after I did call the world into existence and that is not a lot more difficult but a little bit more difficult than trying to show myself to you.

Now Christ did not have the sin nature that you and I have, he did not have indwelling sin living in him. And therefore, when you looked at him, you saw the totality of what God was like. And so he is the radiance of God’s glory, the exact representation of his being sustaining all things by his powerful word. My friends, you and I have never seen the sun. If we did, we’d be blind, we have merely seen the reflection of the sun. In other words, the reflection is a direct, representative, and exact representative of what the sun really is. The moon is a reflection of what the sun and the moon is made in such a way, with its little reflective the soil up there is like little mirrors. And it was made by God with these little mirrors all over it. So when a sun hits it, it reflects the glory of the sun. And quite frankly, the moon is kind of a reflection of what the church is the body of Christ, it is light in the midst of darkness. That’s what we are to be on the face of this earth as ambassadors is a light that can be seen, not the light, he’s the light but a reflection of the light in the midst of darkness. We live in a dark, perverted world. And it says in that world, you Bob are not the light, but I’ve made you in such a way that you can be a reflection of the light. And if you’ll yield yourself to me, who is the Son, the exact representation of God Himself, reflect myself in and through you. And a dark world is going to know somewhat of what I am like, if you’ll let me reflect myself through you.
