Only Perfection Will Do in The Sight of God
~ “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthew 5:48
! Only perfection with do in the sight of God. There is only ONE Way to be perfect, and that is to be in HIS PERFECTION. To be in His perfection requires placing Faith in Him. Jesus is God in the flesh who took away all your sins at the cross and God is no longer counting any sins against you. Do you believe that? If you don’t it is a very easy thing to fix right at this very moment in time. Simply ask Him to show you the Truth of the word of God and He will make it known to you. For He is not wishing anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance (a change of mind) in regards to who He is, God in the flesh, and what He did on the cross for you, Took away ALL your sins from the sight of God, and Now wants to give you eternal Life through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit for Life that is eternal. Trust in Jesus, not in what you are doing or not doing. Salvation is His Life coming to live in you. Salvation is NOT getting your sins forgiven today. For without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. And we know that Jesus is never going to die on the cross ever again.
…..
And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, having done what, will I inherit eternal life?”
And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good, except God alone.
~ “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12
~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one believing in Me, even if he should die, he will live. And everyone living and believing in Me shall never die, to the age. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26
—
Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on his opinions. For one person has faith to eat all things, while another, who is weak, eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not belittle the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted him. Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
One person regards a certain day above the others, while someone else considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes a special day does so to the Lord; he who eats does so to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.
For none of us lives to himself alone, and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this reason Christ died and returned to life, that He might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
Why, then, do you judge your brother? Or why do you belittle your brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written:
“As surely as I live,
says the Lord,
every knee will bow before Me;
every tongue will confess to God.”
So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
Therefore let us stop judging one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way.
I am convinced and fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean. If your brother is distressed by what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy your brother, for whom Christ died.
Do not allow what you consider good, then, to be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. For whoever serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.
So then, let us pursue what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a man to let his eating be a stumbling block. It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything to cause your brother to stumble.
Keep your belief about such matters between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves. But the one who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that is not from faith is sin. Romans 14:1-23
Pray to God:
Do you really want to know the WHOLE Truth of what is going on today?
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
Lord Jesus, teach me the truth of the world today and give me the wisdom to know the truth and identify the lies of the devil. Thank you God.”
~ “In and of myself, I am not acceptable in the sight of God. I’m not acceptable to people sometimes, but I’m, for sure, not acceptable in the sight of God in and of myself, God had to make me acceptable, he says in the scripture, be perfect. Great, great encouraging passage, be perfect. Oh, okay, Lord, how perfect you want me to be? Well, as perfect as your Father in heaven. That’s all we’ll do. And say, I think I’ve had it. And he said, now you got it. When you think you’ve had it, you got it. And so he’s saying you can’t do it. So what did he do? By that one offering, he made forever. What? Perfect in the sight of God, all of those whom he made holy, He had to make me perfect, complete, not perfect, perfect complete. He had to make me holy. He had to make me justified. He had to make me sanctified. I cannot do that on my own. There is nothing in our flesh worthy of going into the presence of a worthy God Worthy is the Lamb, not the sheep. And so we have to understand that truth that’s all of us.” ~ Bob George

Bob George 0:27
In and of myself, I am not acceptable in the sight of God. And so we have to understand that truth that’s all of us.
The other thing we have to understand is God does not have numerical system on sins. You know, adultery gets you 10 points stealing gets you nine. And then the things we do, a whole bunch of lying and that stuff won’t get you one or two. There is no numerical system on sin. God says sin is sin. That’s why Jesus said everybody’s hung up on adultery. He said, I want to tell you something, if you’ve looked at a woman with lust in your heart, you’ve already committed adultery. Now how many of us want to stand in front of God saying, hey, not me. And if we stood in front of him because he said, if that causes you to sin, pluck your eye out. And so if all of us were honest, you you wouldn’t be able to see me, and I, for sure, would not be able to see you. But that’s what God said. Now, folks, is this real or not? Is that true? Isn’t it? He said, If you’re angry at your brother, it’s the same as committing murder. Well, how many people did you kill on the freeway getting to work? You know that’s Is that true or not? Now, see to us, that’s not true. You can’t go to jail for lusting. You can’t go to jail for being angry. So we think, Well, if you can’t go to jail, then it’s not really sin. No, Jesus said that is sin. Do you know why? Because he said that which is not of faith is sin. That’s not what of faith. So the definition of sin is that which is not of faith. How many times a day do we as Christians not exercise faith? And so if you’re trying to keep short accounts with God, all I say to you is good luck, but you’re not going to have time to eat or sleep or anything else. You’re going to be one busy person if you’re going to keep trying to keep short accounts with God, if you look at sin as God looks at it.
And so none of us will be able to able to ever stand in the presence of God in our own righteousness. It’s not there. So God had to give us his righteousness, and that’s what happened when you and I were born again. We were born again by him taking away the sins of the entire world. And that means guys, that every sin that was ever committed, from the time of Adam forward to all eternity, has been taken away. All sins have been taken away at the cross. That’s why Jesus had to do the suffering that he did, was to cover the sins of the entire world, and there he who knew no sin became sin for you and me, so that we could become the righteousness of God. Where? On him, not in us, in him. Do we understand that? Were all of Hitler’s sins taken away at the cross? How about yours? Yeah, all of them. How about the ones you’re going to commit tomorrow? Now you see people say, when I understand how Jesus died for all my past sins, but what about my future sins? How many of your sins were in the future when Jesus died for them 2000 years ago? Seems like all of them. Somebody said, I came to Christ when I was eight years old. So you’ve done all your sinning as a Christian. I’ve only done half of mine as a Christian. That’s true, is it not? So the issue is, what we have to understand is God had to take away the cause of spiritual death once and for all. That’s what he did at the cross, folks. He didn’t do that so that we can continue going back to our Day of Atonement and killing bull the blood and shedding the blood of bulls and goats. He didn’t do that so we could keep going to the confession booth and getting our sins forgiven and doing our Hail Marys. He didn’t do that so that we could keep going to the altar call every week and every week and every week and getting our sins forgiven and getting our sins forgiven. He didn’t do that so that we keep First John one nine and Oh God, please forgive me. Please forgive me, and please forgive me. He did it once, and he did it for all and he did it for all time, and he sat down at the right hand of God because his work was finished. Now what does he want us to do with that truth? Enter into the Sabbath. Rest, resting from your works, just as he did from his. When he said it’s finished, he rested. When he said it’s finished, he sat down and he says, Why don’t you sit down and rest in that truth, instead of trying to add to that where you can’t add to that anything except your own man made nonsense. And quite frankly, that’s what the majority of religion is today. It’s a bunch of man made nonsense. I don’t care whether you’re Protestant or Catholic or Jew, you can’t keep the law. What do you got it for? He didn’t give it to you to begin with. He gave it to the Hebrew, and the Hebrew couldn’t do it. But we sit back in our area and say, Yeah, but you watch me. Lord, you watch my smoke. I’ll do it. No, you won’t. You won’t do a better job than they did. And that’s why he needed to usher in a New Covenant. Is he said the Old Covenant was weak and useless. Why? Because nobody can keep it. Said it’s weak and useless. Now, when something’s weak and useless, what are you hanging on to it for? If it’s weak and useless? So people have difficulty in understanding Jesus. You can’t get rid of the law. Well, you know, what tracks are you going to run on, and all of that kind of thing. The issue is, what do you think was the meaning of the resurrection of Christ, Jesus? The reason that Jesus was raised from the dead was so that that life that raised Him from the dead can come and live in you and raise you from the dead and to eternally indwell you, so that we no longer follow Christ, guys, that’s a term that you do. You follow him to where he went to the cross and to the empty tomb after you’re indwelt by him. Do you follow him? No, you’re led by Him. It’s now when you’re following somebody, they’re out there, and you’re going along behind them. When you’re led, he’s in here, and he’s leading you where to go. That’s the difference between the salvation we have today and before the cross
And so all of this is where he’s saying to us is, look, I want you to rest in my completed work. I have made you complete. You’re not going to get any better. You’re not getting any worse. I have made you holy in my sight. I’ve made you complete in my sight, I’ve made you righteous in my sight. Now people say, Well, now you tell people that brother, that just mean, just go out and live it up. They say, Well, how you doing with what you’ve been taught? I don’t notice too many people under the law not just going doing what they want to do. They just hide it better. Am I right or wrong? And you live in bondage, it’s hopefully that God nobody finds out what I’m really like underneath his skin. You go to church, you sit there like this, and I hope nobody catches what’s really going on inside. But after the service, you’re happy. Hi there. Good to see you. You know, get the kids in the car and knock their heads back in there. Kids heads are going back and forth, wondering what’s going on here, but that’s that’s playing, that’s play acting. Now, what he is saying to us is the way that we will live this Christian life is abiding and trusting, and one of the things that he wants us to do if we’re going to be abiding and trusting is the fact to quit judging. Because he said, I didn’t come to judge the world, but to save the world, I didn’t come to judge it. So what are we doing? Who are indwelt by Christ judging?
Now let’s get into a little bit here as to back in verse nine. For this reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. So then why do you judge your brother, or why do you look down on your brother? For we’ll all stand before the judgment seat. As it is written, as surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me, and every tongue will confess to God. So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. In other words, I’m not going to give an account for you. I’m going to give an account for me. And again, the judgment that we have in the Scripture is has already been done. The judgment for your sins has already happened. Your sins were judged at the cross. The verdict was guilty, the punishment was death, and Jesus took all of it, and that’s why there’s none left for you. Now these words here is an appraisal, which is different than a judgment, to a degree. If you go to an art show, you’ll appraise the work of the artist that isn’t that he doesn’t do good, you’re going to beat him up. You’re just going to appraise his work. And that’s the word here, that we will stand with an appraisal of our work, and that will occur at the time, at least, it seems that would. The time of the rapture, when our works will be appraised. It could be that it occurs when we’re absent from the body and immediately present with the Lord, and will be rewarded for those things that we have done, not in the energy of the flesh, but those things we have allowed Jesus to do in and through us. Maybe giving a cup of water in the name of Christ will be rewarded, and building a 10,000 church congregation will not be rewarded, because he said, there’s going to be a lot of things done in the flesh that are wood, hay and stubble. They look good on the outside, but it’s wood, hay and stubble. And so all of those things are going to be tested by fire. And like I’ve said before, knowing us, we’ll probably be sitting there saying, My ash pile is bigger than your ash pile. But the issue is it’s going to be a bunch of ashes. Only the things we’ve allowed Jesus to do in and through us will be rewarded by Jesus, and then we’ll just merely put the reward back at the foot of the one who produced it.
So he’s saying not to look down on your brother, and we will all be given an account of ourselves to God, and therefore, let us stop passing judgment on one another. Now, let me ask you a question, if you come up and hit me in the face, have I judged you for hitting me in the face? When I say you hit me in the face. No, that isn’t judgment. That’s just telling the truth, but I say the reason that you hit me in the face was because you don’t like Jesus, and you’re probably lost, and I wish you were and all is that judging? Yeah, you’re judging the motives of people. And there’s where we get into a mistake in our lives, when we begin judging motives, not the actions of people, but the motives behind them, and and that’s why you will hear, you’ll see a person with this type of thing, there is no way that that person could be a Christian and be doing what they’re doing. Is that judging? Is it? Do you all agree? Is that judging? Yeah, because we’re not God, and we can’t make that decision. Can we?

So what we can we can say that what you’re doing is inconsistent with who you are as a child of God, if indeed you are a child of God, you’re living totally outside the box. But you know, we can have Jesus in our lives, but we got ourselves back on the throne of our lives. Jesus is not outside the life. He’s inside the life. But I’ve replaced him in the control center. Have any of you ever done that and you replaced him in the control center? And in essence, saying, Jesus, I really do want you to live inside my life. I mean, I’m glad you’re here, and I’m glad that I’ve got ETERNAL LIFE assured to me, but until I get there, I’m going to run things and you know, and I’ll see you later. You. Can you do that as a child of God? Don’t ask a question. Can you do that as a child of God? Now, some of you are so convinced to that that I think you have. Yes, we can. Is that the way to live as a child of God? No, is that going to bring peace to your heart as a child of God? No, you’re going to experience love, joy, peace, patience, kindness. No, not going to experience any of those things. And that’s what draws you back to the heart of God, because guys, deep down in our hearts, in the inner being of our hearts, the things that we long for more than anything in the world is love and joy and peace and patience and kindness and goodness and long suffering. Those are the things we’re longing for. Am I right or wrong? Those are the things that we desire more than anything in the world, just to have some peace in this world, the peace of God that passes all understanding, not not the peace that you can get, you know, out at a stream, mountain stream, someplace, you can get temporary peace out there. But when you leave the stream, you’ve left the peace, but a peace of God that passes understanding to be able to say, you know, it’s well with my soul, it’s okay. It’s talking to Wayne about his his illness and the cancer he’s gone through, how it’s drawn him so near to the Lord, where he experiencing, really, sometimes, for the first time, true peace and true joy and love, those kind of things, which, unfortunately, you think you ought to be able to come to the conclusion of those things without having to go through the trials and tribulation. But many times, that’s the only thing that really draws us, and it’s where we have no place to look except up. And so we have to understand that the things that we long for the very most is called the fruit of the Spirit. And so you’re never going to experience the fruit of the Spirit when you’ve replaced Jesus as the control center of your life. You’re never going to do that. You can experience it. You can go do things good for God, can’t you? But stones can too. Jesus said these stones could cry out. You can. So it’s not that you can’t do activity. When you got yourself at the head of the control center, you can still do Jesus activity, and you can still talk about Jesus, you can do all of those things, but you cannot experience the fruit of the Spirit. The thing you long for more than anything else in the world is to experience love and joy and peace and patience and kindness and goodness that has to come from abiding in the source of those things, and the source of love and the source of peace and the source of joy is God. And until we’re abiding in him, you’re never going to bear the fruit, any more than a branch can bear anything except what he abides in. Are we together on this?
So he says, Can you have peace in your heart when you’re criticizing each other? Can you do that and you’re sitting there? And you know, of course, look at these presidential elections Amen. Wow. Can you imagine why anybody would ever want to run for president? You got to be an idiot. I mean, how easy is it to be a Monday morning quarterback? You’ve never done anything your life. Said criticize somebody and just criticize everything goes on, criticize, criticize and criticize. What are you doing? Judging. Can you experience peace that way? No, you can’t experience peace when you’re criticizing each other and passing judgment on everything and everybody’s doing and saying, you don’t have any peace with that. So he’s saying, for your own benefit, not just the benefit of the Body of Christ, but for your own benefit. Quit doing it instead, make up your mind not to put a stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way. As one who is in the Lord Jesus Christ Paul said, I am fully convinced that no food is unclean. There isn’t such a thing as something that’s unclean, but if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him, it is. So he’s back to this food deal, back to the basic issues that we can kind of understand a little easier. So he’s saying that that if it’s bad for you, if you think that’s bad to eat meat on Friday, don’t eat it. How many of you were Catholics back? When you couldn’t eat meat on Friday? Did any of you ever eat meat on Friday? No, wouldn’t do it because some did, yeah, yeah, and others didn’t. And the ones who who didn’t need it, you probably felt pretty good about yourself, and the ones who did probably had to go to Confession next week. Yeah. So, but what he’s saying here is, look, if it’s bad for you, then it’s bad. It’s not bad because it’s bad, it’s bad for you. If your brother is distressed because of what you eat, you’re no longer acting in love. Guys, if you’re trying to share Christ with somebody from a Seventh day Adventist or Orthodox Jew. Don’t sit there and be wolfing down a pork chop, dripping John your face when you’re trying to share Jesus to him, you’re going to turn them off. If you’re going to share Christ with a Baptist, don’t dance up to him and say hi there.
Now, is there anything wrong with any of those things? No, but he said, you know that some people have a hang up on something, and if you know that, don’t dangle it in front of them that’s not acting in love. Do we understand that principle of that? Now, some people, guys, it wouldn’t merit what you did. It would be wrong. You know, people like that, that it just didn’t make any difference what you know, you get up and sneeze, and it’s wrong with those you just may as well dust your dust the dust off your shoes and move on. There anything you can do with that. But where you have sincere people who have really convictions on some of those things don’t be a stumbling block to them. And that’s what he’s saying. I had a buddy of mine in California, and he said he was sitting in Las Vegas he came to Jesus, and this was a number of years later when he told me that. But he said he was sitting over there in the bar in Las Vegas with a martini in one hand, a cigarette in the other, sharing Jesus to this guy. He kind of looked down and said, This is a little inconsistent. And that’s what the Lord used to get to put those things away, because it was, it was being a stumbling block. That guy said, you’re talking about Jesus. You’re sitting there doing what I’m doing. And so that’s where you have to not be a stumbling block to your brother. Don’t let your eating destroy your brother for whom Christ died. And don’t allow what you consider to be good as spoken of as evil. The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. And that’s what the Christian life is all about. It’s righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by man.
Let us therefore, here’s the conclusion to this chapter. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Now again, guys, in the context here, you’re talking about how does a Hebrew and a Gentile function with each other? Because remember that God’s plan for the Hebrew and the Gentile is to take the two of them with the total opposite backgrounds. You couldn’t get any more opposite than the heathenistic Gentile and the religious Hebrew. You couldn’t get any more opposite than that, could you. And yet, God said, I’m going to take those people, and out of those people, I’m going to make born again believers out of them. And so I have a Born Again Hebrew, or have a Born Again Gentile, I’m going to make a new man out of the two. And that’s what the body of Christ is going to be. Is people out of a Hebrew background and people out of a Gentile background that have both become born again believers through faith in Jesus. And so he’s saying, because this is my plan, is to create this one new man out of the two. I want you to make every effort to do what leads to peace and the mutual edification of one another. Quit. Quit getting after each other. Don’t destroy the work of God for the sake of food to the Hebrew. Don’t destroy the work of God in order to uphold what you believe is bad, don’t destroy the work of God and Gentile, don’t destroy the work of God by flaunting that in their face. All food is clean, but it’s wrong for a man to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble. That doesn’t mean ever it means when you’re in front of him, it’s better not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything else that will cause your brother to fall. If it’s going to cause him to fall, don’t do it.
Now, here’s this deal about eating meat or drinking wine. You. Now, do you suppose he’s talking here about Welch’s grape juice? He says wine, doesn’t it. Now, is this some kind of wine that God made that’s non fermented, and, you know, do not get drunk on grape juice, where is excess, but be filled with the Spirit. He’s talking about wine. Now, that can be a problem for some people. Can it not, and I don’t know how many of you drink or drink wine, or don’t or anything else, none of my business. My favorite verse is, lead a quiet life and tend to your own business. It’s none of my business. Now, if you’re in the presence of someone who has been taught, and I can always remember my pastor, bless his heart, he’s he was a he was a sweet man, but he was as naive as you can get. He’s old, but naive. But do you mean to tell me, you know, then those old timers always had those shaky voices. Do you mean to tell me that God would ever lips, would ever touch alcohol, you know, God forbid. It never happened. Well, you say, Well, what do you do with the wedding of Cana said he turned water into wine? Well, that was grape juice. Grape juice. Okay, so now, if you are around someone that’s been brought up in that category, are you going to be acting in love if you go out to dinner with each other and order a glass of wine? No, you’re gonna be a stumbling block. Why? Because you know how he feels about that. I’ve respected people that I’ve been out with before who have sat down and wanted to have a glass of wine and said to me, do you have any objection with drinking wine? And I said, No, give me the bottle. No, I’m serious. I didn’t say that. You get the glass. I get the bottle. No, no.

3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
