There are Many Many False Prophets Looking For Profits Today

~ “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their actions.” 2 Corinthians 11:14,15
Be warned today, that demons themselves masquerade as servants of righteousness. And do not be surprised that Man or demons can name the name of Jesus, just like they do in movies today, for they are experts at acting. And remember, for the demons, the whole world is a stage. They are here to deceive, even the elect if that were possible. And a reminder, you don’t have to be a Christian to name the name of Jesus. Because they all do it. That is what they do, they are deceivers and evil to the core. Even in the Bible, we see demons telling people that Jesus is the “Son of God.” But these are in fact enemies of God. Learn to identify the enemies of God today and stop listening to them. Start paying attention to the details about these false prophets, for the details matter in everything. For we do not need the testimony of the enemy about Jesus being God. For example, the demons addressed Jesus as “Son of God” when they saw Jesus, yet we know they are evil. And don’t be surprised that demons aren’t masquerading as men of light in key places today. For Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light also, and he too can and does indwell other entities of flesh, other than children of God. Just like Satan did with Judas for example, Satan can and does indwell others. But there are a number of other examples also of demons indwelling other flesh in the Word of God:

The Demons and the Pigs
(Matthew 8:28-34; Mark 5:1–20; Luke 8:26–39)
“When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, He was met by two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.

“What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?”

In the distance a large herd of pigs was feeding. So the demons begged Jesus, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”

“Go!” He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.

Those tending the pigs ran off into the town and reported all this, including the account of the demon-possessed men. Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.

Stop supporting false prophets. Stop believing the lies that God is going to bless you if you give such and such to this ministry or that ministry. Stop placing profit ministers on an idol pedestal, where people say things like, “I know he doesn’t preach properly on forgiveness, but he preaches some Truth in other areas.” If the foundation is off, everything will be off also. Quit listening to the enemies of God. Quit promoting them on social media. Quit using snippets of false prophets as though they have something good to say. Pay attention to what they teach at the foundation. Dig into the TRUTH of the matters. It’s at your fingertips. Be a Berean. Bottom line, don’t use a minister of Satan to testify about Jesus. Use your own testimony and the Word of God. Tell it like it is. Be as Paul. Use the Word of God. And as a reminder, to those that say we don’t have demons today in the flesh, the word of God says otherwise. If people can show hospitality to angels unaware because we think they are Man, then obviously demons can also manifest themselves in the flesh. “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:2

“… for reason of this I bow my knees to the Father, from whom every family in the heavens and on earth is named, that He might give you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man, for Christ to dwell in your hearts through faith, being rooted and being founded in love, so that you may be fully able, with all the saints, to comprehend what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ surpassing knowledge, so that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:14-19

O, the depth of the riches
of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers with them.

Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas and all the saints with them.

Greet one another with a holy kiss.

All the churches of Christ send you greetings.

Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who create divisions and obstacles that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Turn away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice over you. But I want you to be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil.

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Timothy, my fellow worker, sends you greetings, as do Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my fellow countrymen.

I, Tertius, who wrote down this letter, greet you in the Lord.

Gaius, who has hosted me and all the church, sends you greetings.

Do you really want to know the WHOLE Truth of what is going on today?

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

Lord Jesus, teach me the truth of the world today and give me the wisdom to know the truth and identify the lies of the devil. Thank you God.”

In other words, I’ve got some kind of a direct word from God that you don’t have, and that’s why you need to listen to me, and that’s why you need to support me, because I need a Rolls Royce, and I need all that stuff, so you need to get busy, and you have people who are false prophets. How do they perform? They perform signs and miracles. Are they real signs and real miracles? No, they’re phony signs and phony miracles. But they look like they are real. Do they not? You had the same thing in the Old Testament, and Pharaoh duplicated many of the miracles that were being done in the name of God. And so we need to understand that, that you have people today who are satanically empowered to do what appears to be signs and miracles, but God says they are false prophets, and he said, I’m telling you this ahead of time. Second Corinthians tells us and I will keep doing what I’m doing in order to cut the ground from under those who have an opportunity, who want an opportunity, to be considered equal with us in the findings they boast about. These are people that are saying, Listen, don’t listen to the apostles. Listen to us. We are just as knowledgeable as they are. That is not true. God gave first of all, Jesus came to this earth. Jesus then discipled the apostles who were the authority for the teaching of the Word of God. And people were coming in saying, Ah, don’t listen to them. We have just we’ve got the same kind of knowledge that they do. He said, No. Paul said, I’m going to cut the ground right out from under them if I can. He said, Those men are false prophets, deceitful workmen. We have that today going on. People are claiming to be prophets. We got people claiming to be apostles. You got people claiming all kinds of things that no one put them in that position except themselves. And yet, there are people who follow them and listen to every word they say and swear by what they utter out of their false teaching. He said, These men are false prophets. They’re deceitful workmen. They’re masquerading as apostles of Christ, and no wonder, he says, For Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. Satan can take on any of these things. It’s not surprising then that if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness, their end will be what their actions deserve.” ~ Bob George

Now we also go to other areas of the scripture that warn against these same things. Jesus warned about it in Matthew 7: 15 through 20. He said, Watch out for false prophets. So you’re going to have real prophets and you’re going to have false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they’re ferocious wolves. By their fruit, He says, You will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit, and every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit, you will recognize them. In Matthew or Mark 13 For false christs and false. False prophets will appear, and they will perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect, if that were possible. So be on your guard. I’ve told you everything ahead of time.

First, Timothy, one, three through five. Paul said, I urge you that when I went to Macedonia, to stay there in Ephesus, so that you may commend certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer. So he’s saying, Teach these people to quit teaching these false doctrines, nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, mysticism, these promote controversies. Rather than God’s work, which is by faith. God’s work, my friends, is by faith and faith alone. It’s not faith in miracles. It’s not faith in signs and wonders. As a matter of fact, if you need a sign and wonder, it is a repudiation of your faith. Because Jesus said you want a sign, I’ll show you a sign. Tear this temple down. I’ll build it up in three days, talking about his own resurrection from the dead. And I’ve said to people, my friends, if the resurrection from the dead isn’t a good enough sign for you. Nothing is going to be a good enough sign for you. And you can come with a one sign, and you’re going to need another sign, and then you need another sign you’ve got people are always looking for signs for God, from God. That is not faith, my friends, you do not look for signs and wonders from God. You take it by faith. God has said this is true, and by faith, you give your heart to that. And so it says that these things promote controversies, rather than God’s work, which is by faith. And the goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith, there’s false faith and there’s sincere faith. And he says, what I want you to do is to have faith that comes from a pure heart and a good conscience. First, Timothy says, If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree with the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to godly teaching, he is conceited and he understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in evil suspicions, in envy and strife and malicious talk and evil suspicions and constant friction between men of corrupt mind who have been robbed of the truth and think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

Have you by chance ever heard anyone teaching that godliness is a means to financial gain? Have you ever heard that that if you do something godly, God is going to bless you financially? Have you ever heard of name it and claim it, of blabbit and grab it? Have you ever heard of any? Could it be that that may be prevalent in Christianity today, you better believe it. You better believe it. It’s called prosperity gospel, prosperity gospel from Jesus, who died on a cross naked, gambling for his cloak, of the apostle Paul, who, at the end of his life, asked somebody to please bring his parchment and a cloak, because I’m cold. From people that we know lived as he said, We live like dogs sometimes. Jesus said, foxes have holes. I don’t even have a place to lay my head, and we claim prosperity gospel. My friends, those type of teachings are coming from false prophets.

Now is a false prophet going to try to look like a false prophet or a good prophet? If you were a spy, let’s say you were a Russian spy here in America, would you come over here talking with a big accent, or would you try to talk like an American? Would you try to look like an American? Would you act like an American? Would you dress like an American? But deep down under the skin you’re a communist Russian. Which would you do if you were a good spy? Act like a Russian or act like an American? When you have a false prophet, he’s trying to act as holy as holy can get. And he’s going to come up with all the vernacular of holy appearing people, and he’s going to take on actions that people perceive as holy, even wearing collars on backwards, which McGee said shows they’re walking in the wrong direction. Robes, funny hats, black outfits, holy people on the outside. What did Jesus call them? Whitewash sepulchers. You got yourself all dressed up on the outside, but underneath that robe and underneath that cloak is a heart that is hard as a brick. And folks, we have to understand that, that that is what truth is, is we have in our midst false prophets, and these are people who love to stir up controversy and malicious talk and evil suspicions and friction, and they’ve been robbed of the truth the Bible says, and are teaching people that godliness is a means to financial gain. If you just tithe, you’re going to be blessed, anybody ever heard that? How many of you ever heard that? We all have. Is that true?

It appears to me that the Bible says that we are already blessed. We are blessed, are we not in the beloved and so giving is giving because you’re already blessed. You don’t give to get blessed. You give because you are blessed. And if you haven’t been blessed by God, why would you want to be giving to the work of God? I mean, if there’s, if there’s been no reality from God’s presence in your life. Why would you want to help somebody else to come to know this Jesus that isn’t blessing you? Come to Jesus so you can be miserable like me. And so the reason that you give is because God has already blessed you, and because you’re blessed, you want to see other people blessed, and that’s what the motivation for giving is, is give so that the people or the ministry or the message that blessed you can reach out And bless others. Isn’t that what it’s all about? But you see, you have people teach, no, no, you give and God’s going to multiply that. He’s going to just multiply it and multiply it. You send me $100 and he’ll send you 1000. And I believe what a lady from East West Texas wrote into one of those guys one time, it says, appears to me that you need money a lot worse than I do. So why don’t you send me the 100 and let him give you the 1000. Now he didn’t respond to that, but those are the kind of things that that go on, folks.

Teachings that we become little gods, that when you’re indwelt by Jesus, you become a little god. I’ve told people, if I’m a little god, this place is in trouble. You agree with that, not just because I’m me. I mean, if you’re a little god, they might be in trouble too. We don’t become little gods. Jesus is God clothed in an earth suit. I’m a human being indwelt by God. I’m we a man. I’m not God. I’m indwelt by God. Jesus was God clothed in humanity. It’s quite a difference between the two. He found himself in an appearance as a man, but he was God clothed in humanity. I’m humanity indwelt by God. And people think that you’re a little God. Now, what does that mean? Well, if you’re a little God, then anything you think, and anything you say comes from God, and all you do is speak it, and that’s God speaking, and you have people come down and say, God told me to get divorced. Well, I’m sorry, but I don’t think God told you that, not when the Bible says something different than that. God told me to go kill somebody. I don’t like abortion clinics, so God told me to go blow them up and kill people in the process. I’m sorry, that is not God, is it? And so that theology leads you that if I’m a little god, that anything I think and anything I say must be from God. Is that true?

You see, folks, we have the ability, it says, to participate in the divine nature that lives in us. So we do have God’s nature living in us, and I have the ability to participate in that nature, but I also have my flesh. Do I not? And I also can participate in my flesh. And so I have two voices that I can listen to. One is God’s voice, and the other is my flesh. Are we right or wrong? And they are in conflict with each other. Are we together? And the desires of the flesh are contrary to the desires of the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are contrary to the desires of the flesh. They’re in conflict with each other, so that, like Paul said, you don’t do what you want. That’s why Paul was able to say that I don’t understand what I do, the things I want to do I don’t do, and the things I don’t want to do, I do anyway. How many of you ever found yourself in that position, and what was his solution to that? Thanks be to God, through Jesus, Christ, our Lord, there’s no condemnation awaiting those who belong to Christ Jesus for the law of the Spirit of Life set me free from the law of sin and death. And what he was saying to us is that conflict will be with you until the day you’re absent from the body and present with the Lord. That conflict will be with you, a conflict between wanting to believe or obey the voice of your flesh that always wants to be pleased, always wants to be nurtured, always wants to be understood, and all of those things of the flesh in comparison to the desires of the Spirit that says to love and to serve one another, and they’re in conflict with each other.

Now, so when you’re talking about this godliness being a means to financial gain, whenever you hear that being taught, you know something. If you’ve come to the conclusion that the Bible is true and it is true, then you know something that’s false teaching, that’s being taught by a false prophet. Well, in Second Peter, we’re told there were also false prophets among the people. Just as there will be false prophet prophets among you always going to have false prophets. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Sovereign Lord who bought them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed, these teachers will exploit you with stories that they’ve made up. In other words, not true stories, but stories that you’ve made up. And you You also know that is true. And those things have been discovered of making up, these stories that this person you know, had terminal cancer, and then, and I blew on him, and he and he was all healed, and all those kind of things where the fact is the person never had cancer to begin with, and I can tell you story after story about these things, and the more that you hear about them, the more sickening sometimes the so called Christian world becomes. And I want to tell you guys, if you’re not grounded in truth, you’d give up on the Christian world with what’s going on today, just in media alone.

Their greed, these teachers will exploit you the stories they’ve made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. First, John, my friends, don’t believe every spirit. We should be testing the spirits to see where they’re from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world, and this is how we can recognize the Spirit of God. Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ is coming to flesh is from God. Now again, here is John dealing with the Gnostic problem that was very prevalent by the time the book of John was written. Gnosticism were people who believed in a special knowledge. We had special revelation from God that other people do not have. They had two basic doctrines that they held on to. First of all, Jesus did not come in the flesh. He was not human. You did not see him, that’s just an illusion. You just think that you saw him. And the other was that we as men do not have a sin nature. Well to handle both of those, the apostle John wrote first second and third John. And in First John, he starts out that which we have seen with their eyes and touched with their hands, heard with their ears this we proclaim concerning the Word of Life. We have seen him. He has appeared to us. Why did he write that? In order to correct the Gnostic heresy that was saying that Jesus did not come in the flesh. So some pastor, probably in Ephesus, was sitting there trying to teach truth, and here was a group of Gnostics in the congregation saying, Hold on, you’re teaching wrong. Jesus didn’t come in the flesh. We don’t have a sin nature. We don’t sin all of this type of thing. And this pastor going crazy, says, I’m going to write to the only living apostle at that time on the face of the earth, who’s the apostle, John, and tell him what’s being said, and let him write and answer this. And that’s exactly how the letter got there. Was John was writing to a pastor to correct the Gnostic heresy. And so he says they were saying, Oh, we’re teaching in the Spirit. He said, test those spirits to see where they’re from God or not, because you’ve got a lot of false prophets in the world, and this is how you can recognize the Spirit of God. Every spirit that acknowledged that Jesus Christ has come into flesh is from God. Now, were these people acknowledging that Jesus came into flesh? No. So what he’s saying about them, they’re not from God. They’re a false prophet. And that’s the reason he was writing that. And every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. So they’re not from God. They’re false prophets. This is the spirit of the Antichrist that you have heard is coming, and even now, is already in the world. You have people who deny the humanity of Christ. And then that were, those were the Gnostics demand, denying the fact that he came in the flesh. And then you have people today, and as they were back then, denying the deity of Christ. Now what group would come to your mind in that denying the deity of Christ? Jehovah’s Witness, they live to go door to door to try to convince people that Jesus is not God. They are of the teaching, as he says, of the antichrist. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now, is already in the world, a spirit of antichrist is teaching something that is antichrist. It’s anti the true humanity of Christ, and anti the true deity of Christ. And the teachers of Jehovah’s Witness went to great lengths in order to rewrite the Bible, to misinterpret Bible, misprint it, in order to try to justify their own doctrine or their own bias. But of course, like with everything, you can’t get them all, so it’s pretty easy to spot. But the issue is that there are people like that in the world today, denying His humanity and denying His deity, and that’s what the apostle John was writing about in his book of First John. They’re already in the world.

Now Romans 16, back to where we were. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I’m full of joy over you, but I want you to be wise about what is good and innocent, about what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus, be with you. Timothy, my fellow worker, sends his greetings to you. So does Lucius. Jason and Sosa Potter and sausup Potter, my relatives, Turneus, who wrote down this letter greet you in the Lord now again, who was he? He was what’s called an amanuensis. An amanuensis would be like a scribe. He would be one who is writing down what is being dictated by the Apostle Paul. Now, the apostle Paul, in so doing this, would also sign his name in large letters at the end of the book, in order to prove the veracity and of the of the fact that he was the author, because there were people back in those days who would write books. We’ve listed a lot of those. It’s called a pseudepigrapha, and would write books, signing Peter’s name to them, or Paul’s name to them, where it wasn’t their authorship at all. And there’s groups of those letters that have been preserved through the ages. So he said, Gaius, his hospitality, I and a whole church here at Joy sends his greetings. Erastus, who is the city’s Director of Public Works, and our brother, Courtes, sends you their greetings. Now to Him who is able to establish you by my gospel.

Now it is interesting how that because Paul refers to, this is my gospel, that there are some people who say, Well, we only listen to Pauline writings. And it’s kind of a Paul only type of a thing. You ignore Peter, you ignore anybody else who wrote in the Scriptures only Paul. Now let me say this, certainly the Apostle Paul contributed immensely to my understanding and your understanding of the doctrines of God’s grace, but you don’t ignore all the rest of the writings in the scriptures. But when Paul refers to it as my gospel. I believe what he’s saying is this, that God gave me the truth, and I am communicating this truth, and therefore this gospel is as much mine as it is yours, and this gospel belongs to me. In other words, it’s a gospel that was revealed to me by Christ, Jesus, and it’s my gospel. It’s the gospel that I depend upon. It’s the gospel that I rely upon. It’s the gospel that if it is not true, I will go to hell. It is my personal gospel. I don’t think he’s saying this is my gospel that I thought up, which is some like some people think or my gospel that was revealed only to me. I think what he is saying here is, this is my gospel because God has revealed it and I’ve made it mine. And folks, that is what God wants you and me to do in this world in which we live. He wants us to make yours. He wants this gospel to be your gospel, not just Paul’s Gospel, not mom and dad’s gospel, but your gospel, not a gospel that I learned from People to People or from somebody else, but my gospel. This is my gospel. I have made it personal. I have accepted it as truth. I am personally relying upon it for my own salvation, so that when I die, that I will be able to go into the presence of God knowing that he has revealed to me the gospel that I stand in today. It is my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past and God in his sovereignty, revealed to the apostle Paul, this wonderful mystery here was a man who was a total Hebrew that he said, I’m going to send you to the Gentiles, because I’m going to save the Gentiles the same way that I saved the Hebrews. And it was Paul’s revelation that God gave him that was also accepted and made theirs by the apostle Peter and the rest of the disciples, John and the rest. And he said, These things have been revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey Him, to the only wise God to glory forever through Jesus Christ, amen. And that is the end of the book of Romans, again, one of the finest books on doctrine that has ever been pinned, some people think the greatest writing that has ever been pinned in the world.
