Only When a Person is Born Again of the Holy Spirit do They Have Life

~ “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12

~ Many many people today think they have the Spirit of God living in them because Satan convinced them they are saved because they believe as their denomination believes and teaches. They have place faith in Man rather than the word of God. And it doesn’t matter whether one is a Catholic or a Protestant, both teach Satan’s lies. And they are indeed lies, because it was done intentionally to obfuscate the true meaning of the word of God. Both are two sides of the same coin. One as we have said says you go to a priest to get forgiveness, and the other says no you go directly to God to get forgiveness. Both are teaching the lie of more forgiveness is being given by God. When confronted with Truth today, there are many that will hang onto the lies, because they have been brainwashed into believing them from a very early age. So the same thing occurs with all aspects of the teaching of Truth, not just in the forgiveness area. People will go back to leaning on their own understanding and traditions of various truths of the word of God, because that is what they were taught. And sometimes it’s like pulling teeth with people to see Truth. And many times we too get frustrated with people, especially those that are close to us, that don’t see Truth. And many times, the reason that a person does not see Truth is because they are not saved. Yet God has a job for each of us to do today, and that is to share the message of Truth. When we are abiding in the Spirit, He directs all our paths. Listen to Him. Allow Him to guide you in All things. And remember the works of God is to believe in Jesus. That is abiding in Christ Jesus by faith from first to last.

John 6:28,29

28 Therefore they said to Him, “What must we do, that we may be doing the works of God?”

29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you should believe in Him whom He has sent.”

“Well, Mark, that’s where people who hang on to tradition as an example, I think to myself, How in the world are you ever going to go back to the origin of tradition and believe in it? We have the origin of the of the apostolic thought that came right from Christ Jesus. Jesus told the apostles that everything that I’ve taught you, I’ll bring it back to your remembrance. And with the Apostle Paul was met directly by Christ Jesus. So we have direct revelation from God Himself to the apostles in the Word of God. Now, tradition that’s contrary to that, and has no meaning to it at all. That’s just something man makes up and and tells people that that supersedes that of the scriptures, which is utter nonsense and heretical. So you have to put aside the tradition and go to the Word of God. The Word of God is the direct revelation from God, like it says in John that you/we readily believe man’s testimony. Well, that’s tradition. Well, we’ll believe whatever man tells you. Somebody stands up and tells you, God told me that you not ought to eat meat on Friday. Okay? Nobody eats meat on Friday. Well, that isn’t any revelation from God. That’s just man’s nonsense. And so what we have to do is to is to come to the Word of God. And the reason I say something’s nonsense because it’s not in the Word of God. And that has to be our plumb line, not what some man tells you, not what I tell you or anybody else. So I’m not talking about others. I’m talking about myself.

The Word of God says that you can only be saved through being born again. And you’re born again of the Spirit. And as we talked earlier, if the Spirit does not live in you, you don’t belong to him, and that only comes when you, by faith, accept an internalized mark what Christ, Jesus did for you when he came and died on a cross to take away your sins from the eyes of God throughout all eternity. It’s an eternal function that he performed at the cross. He took away the sins of the entire world forever from the sight of God, now entering therefore into our death because of wages of sin is death. He entered into our death with us so that raised from the dead, we could enter into His resurrection with him. And that’s the meaning of the resurrection. Is that Christ, Jesus, was raised from the dead with the promise to you and me that you come to me by faith, and I’ll raise you from your state of death. And when we come to Christ, we’re raised from the dead into a newness of life in Christ, Jesus, that’s by faith and by faith alone, and that’s how we’re saved. And when we have the Son, we know something. We have life, and when you have the life, it’s because you have the Son. It’s not complicated, it’s not religious. It’s just God’s means of being merciful to his creation and providing a way that you and I could be saved.” ~ Bob George
