Jesus Selects Saul ~ Paul

~ Acts: 9:1-19
Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the disciples of the Lord. He approached the high priest and requested letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any men or women belonging to the Way, he could bring them as prisoners to Jerusalem.

As Saul drew near to Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?”

“Who are You, Lord?” Saul asked.

“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” He replied. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

The men traveling with Saul stood there speechless. They heard the voice but did not see anyone. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could not see a thing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was without sight, and he did not eat or drink anything.

Paul Preaching The Gospel

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P1155 (08-13-26)

Preach The Gospel is Key For Each of Us

~ “For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with words of wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. 1 Corinthians:1:17

The Apostle Paul made it abundantly clear what the most critical, non-negotiable job is for each and every one of us to do: we are commanded to preach the Gospel—in season and out of season. We are not called to sit passively in pews, sedated by the horizontal distractions of the out lands, or spoon-fed by seminary-credentialed gatekeepers who treat grace like a business. We are called to stand on the proper, unyielding foundation and shout the un-scrambled Truth of Calvary directly to a dying world.

And what is the true, un-scrambled Gospel? It is the absolute reality that Jesus, God in the literal flesh (basar), entered our physical jurisdiction under the dome to operate as our Goel—our near-kinsman. He was born of Man to legally qualify under divine property law, lived a perfect, flawless life, and came to take away the total sin debt for everyone at the cross of Calvary.Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Child of God

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P1154 (08-07-26)

Born of God: The Free Gift of New Life in Christ

~ “But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God.” John 1:12–13

The offer of sonship is unconditionally and freely extended to anyone who will receive Jesus. It is not earned through human lineage, self-effort, or moral striving, but received purely by placing trust in Jesus Christ—God manifest in the flesh (Colossians 2:9). As Scripture declares:

“Whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.”Revelation 22:17 > “For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'”Romans 10:13

The Finished Work of the Cross

This gift rests entirely on the completed, past-tense sacrifice of Christ. At the Cross, Jesus took away the sins of the entire world once and for all (John 1:29), ensuring that sin is no longer counted against humanity today:

“God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.”

Forgiveness at the Cross and Life through the Spirit

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P1153 (08-06-26)

The Resurrected Life of Jesus is What Saves a Person, Not His Death on the Cross

~ You know, it’s surprising how many people miss the full picture of what the gospel really is. A lot of folks grow up believing that Jesus’ death on the cross was the complete finish line of salvation. But while the cross was essential, it was actually clearing the way for something even greater: His resurrected life. The cross reconciled us to God, but it is His life that actually saves us. As the Apostle Paul explains in Romans 5:10, “For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!”

It’s so easy to get stuck at the cross or view the resurrection as just an amazing historical event, without realizing what it means for us right now. People often forget that it was the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead—and that very same Spirit was sent at Pentecost so we could be spiritually raised from the dead, too. Scripture highlights this incredible connection in Romans 8:11: “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.”Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

We Love Others Because of The Love of Jesus For Us

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P1152 (07-31-26)

“Everything is Permissible for me,” but NOT Everything is Beneficial

In Christ, believers are no longer under the law as a system for earning righteousness; we have died to the law and now live under grace. Because we are fully forgiven and accepted in the Beloved, there is a true sense in which “all things are lawful” – our standing before God is not upheld or destroyed by food or drink, by days or customs, or by the old written code. Yet this freedom was never given so that we might please the flesh or indulge sin, but so that we might walk in the Spirit, serve one another in love, and live as those who belong to the Lord Jesus Christ.

For that reason, while everything is indeed allowed in the sense that no external rule can add to or take away from the finished work of the cross, not everything is beneficial, not everything is fitting, and not everything builds up the body of Christ. Many things that may be “permissible” can still dull our hearts, enslave our desires, wound weaker brothers and sisters, or bring confusion rather than edification.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message

Victory Over Depression - Book

Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P1151 (07-30-26)

Your Victory Over Depression is Through Jesus Himself!

When a person is in Christ Jesus, victory over depression unfolds through a divine process of internal transformation. Because Christ literally lives within the believer, individuals no longer have to battle emotional darkness, fatigue, or despair using their own limited human strength. Instead, the Savior who carried our griefs on the cross provides a supernatural anchor from the inside out, offering true rest to the weary and breaking the heavy chains of isolation.

This victory is realized as Jesus actively begins the process of renewing the mind. Depression often relies on deceptive, looping thoughts of worthlessness, hopelessness, and permanent defeat. By abiding in Christ, the believer’s mind is systematically rewired and transformed, allowing them to take every destructive thought captive and cast down the mental arguments that breed despair.

Crucially, this renewal is anchored entirely in absolute TRUTH, which cannot be found in human philosophy or abstract concepts. True freedom comes exclusively from the author of Truth, Jesus Himself, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. As His living Word floods the mind, it exposes lies, heals the brokenhearted, and restores a sound mind, proving that those in Christ are ultimately more than conquerors.… Click to Read More And Follow Along With The Message
