~ After the cross, everything changed. Prior to the cross, there was a day of the week that was called the Sabbath, and was to be a rest day for the people. After the cross, the Sabbath became a Sabbath Rest for the people of God. Every moment of the day of every day of the week is a Sabbath Rest for those who are in Christ Jesus. Yet people will act like they are living in the old covenant, and get all into their sabbath day as though they think God is pleased with them when they go to their church service, and listen to all the teaching of men (which most of the time are lies of the devil). ~ We need to be saved from the consequences of sin which is death. No one is saved by having their sins forgiven. We allow ourselves to overlook the truth of the word of God, because after all, most people are asking for forgiveness from God instead of placing faith in His forgiveness from the cross. We are all given the truth today. Most people refuse to place faith in Him for what he really did for them. They still are living the life of a lie. They listen to man instead of listening to God. People are still going to their religious buildings on Sunday or Saturday and other days of the week, built by man, and are filled with lost people, being taught by lost people, and think that is what pleases God. Fellowshipping with other true believers is key. That today can be done in numerous ways today. Seek out someone that understands and truly teaches Grace. Start a Bible study yourself. ~ The teaching from the Book of Hebrews is for Everyone, Not just the Hebrews of yesteryear. Yet hardly anyone teaches the book of Hebrews today. And those that do teach it, teach it with major errors throughout the book. The main reason is very few actually understand it and teach it correctly from the pulpit, because quite honestly most are not saved, and that includes the teachers themselves. ~ Most everyone today is concerned with weeds in their lawn instead of learning how to grow grass. We need to realize that according to Jesus, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.” This is why in another passage of Scripture it says that “flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.” Yet most are out there trying to get their flesh all cleaned up. They are pulling out weeds left and right and still more weeds pop up because quite frankly you can’t pull them out by the root. There is nothing good in the flesh. That flesh of ours is going to the grave whether we like it or not. We ARE Told to Make Every Effort to Enter Into The Sabbath Rest

~ This is a warning directly from the word of God. We are to make every effort (come let us reason together with God, the Holy Spirit who lives in us says), to enter the Sabbath-rest for the people of God. This is not a day of the week either as some are saying. It is a rest from our own works of the flesh. It is a rest from our own self-righteousness. It is to rest in Jesus and Him alone for what he has done for us, and gives us, and lives his life through us.
