The Law Was Fulfilled By God Jesus Himself

~ “For Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.” Romans 10:4

– We are to add nothing to the gospel, for the gospel itself is extending grace to everyone, and those who place Faith in Jesus, live under the new covenant of grace today. If people are adding tithing to the new covenant, then they are not living under the new covenant. If people are adding water baptism to the new covenant, then they are not abiding under the new covenant. For neither tithing nor water baptism can make anyone perfect before God. And in fact, those that insist upon these things and other outward signs it is questionable as to even if they are saved. For they trust in their self imposed works to make them think they are saved. They have this checkoff sheet in their mind, and if they check all the right boxes for what their pastor told them makes them saved, then they must be saved. Yet most have no clue what salvation really is. They have no clue that salvation is LIFE.

For we are to live by the Spirit today, and we are to worship God in spirit and in TRUTH. And the TRUTH is that God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world to Himself and is no longer counting anyone’s sins against them today. Believe it. Rest in Him today to have done it all. Don’t add anything to the True Gospel.

“Now, when you have a man as an example, Andrew, that’s teaching you that if you don’t tithe, you’re not a Christian. Number one as a Christian, why would you want to tithe when it when tithing is Old Covenant way of supporting the Levitical priesthood, and so I would say the man saying that does not have Jesus as his high priest, but has a Levite as his priest, because that was the purpose of tithing. And all of that is manipulation, and and that is a way that pastors use, many times to manipulate people in order to put them on guilt trips and have them tithing to their church or to their organization. And that is totally contrary. You do not find tithing in the New Covenant. And so what you do find in the New Covenant is Free Will giving. And Paul devoted almost two chapters in the book of Corinthians to how to give, which that would have been foolish for him to do if we were still tithing. He should have just said, Keep on tithing. Boys, you know, send you the envelopes. Keep at it. And that would have been the end of it, but he spelled out in great detail what it is to give joyfully, to give without compulsion, to give in accordance to what you do have, not in accordance what you don’t have. That is the way you give. And it says, to excel in the grace of giving, not in the law, in the grace of giving. And I defy you to excel in the grace of giving when you’re under a law of giving. So a person stating that is really painting himself back in his own corner. Because, in essence, that is not the sign. If you’re not tithing, you’re not a Christian, it, to me, would be more of a sign as to question whether you are not if you’re teaching what you know to be error, what you know is not true. ~ Bob George
