God is the Initiator, We are Responders

~ “Father, glorify your name!”

Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him.

Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine. Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to myself.” He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die. John 12:28-33

~ In John 12:32 Jesus, God Himself is the one who draws ALL people to himself. How does He do that? By His Spirit He is constantly calling people to Himself. And know this, we don’t push God’s buttons, in some sort of vending machine prayer requests, to get God to do something for us. He is the initiator and we are responders. Salvation is Life in Christ Jesus

~ “For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2
~ People need to hear and understand the Truth of the word of God. We are not saved by the death of Jesus on the cross, but by His resurrected Life. Most times the salvation message is come to God to get your sins forgiven, which quite frankly is a lie. Because God forgave everyone’s sins at the cross. But forgivness in itself does not give Life tot he dead. Life gives Life to the dead. And when a person accepts by Faith the fact that Jesus took away all their sins at the cross and is no longer counting any of their sins against them, then the very Life of God, the Holy Spirit is given and we are indwelt by the Spirit of God within our spirit and makes us one with Christ Jesus. Everyone who is in Christ Jesus is now True Israel, a people of God. And Israel was always a people of God, NOT a location. The Holy Spirit Will Lead You in All Truth

He, The Holy Spirit Lives In ALL True Believers

~ “All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.” John 14:25,26

~ When you are listening to the Holy Spirit, He will direct ALL your paths. He will tell you to speak when He wants you to speak. He will tell you to listen, when He wants you to listen. When He wants you to do something, do it. When He wants you not to do something, don’t do it, even if it seems right in the world. There are subtle things that the Spirit is talking to you personally and teaching you All Truth. Learn to listen to Him speak to you. And the majority of our prayer life would naturally be listening to Him speak if we are abiding in the Spirit. Because He would be directing our paths in Everything and would be teaching us Truth.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit Baptises A Person Into The Body of Christ Jesus

~ “John answered all saying, “I indeed baptize you with water, but the One mightier than I comes, of whom I am not worthy to untie the strap of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire,” Luke 3:16

~ When a person is saved from death to life, the Holy Spirit comes to live in a person for Life that is eternal, and the Holy Spirit baptizes you, places you into the body of Christ. And because of that, nothing can separate you from Him. You are a child of God forever. He never leaves you no matter what.

The problem today with most people, is they have no idea what salvation is. They think salvation is getting one’s sins forgiven. Yet that was done at the cross for everyone. Now we come to Jesus for LIFE, His LIFE. We receive His forgiveness when we receive Him. We accept Him and what He did for us at the cross, and we thank him (true confession) for everything He has done for us. Be Sure To Enter The Sabbath Rest of Jesus

~ “Therefore, of the promise to enter into His rest left remaining, we should fear, lest ever any of you should seem to have fallen short. And indeed we are those having had the gospel preached just as they did; but the message of their hearing did not profit them, not having been united with the faith of those having heard. For those having believed enter into the rest, as He has said:

“So I swore in my wrath,
‘they shall not enter into My rest.’”

And yet the works have been finished from the foundation of the world. For He has spoken somewhere concerning the seventh day in this way, “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.” And again in this passage. “They shall not enter into My rest.”

A Close Look at Prayer

~ And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets so that they might be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their recompense. But you when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father, the One in secret. And your Father, the One seeing in secret, will reward you.

And praying, do not use vain repetitions like the pagans, for they think that in their many words they will be heard.8Therefore do not be like to them, for your Father knows of what things you have need before your asking Him. Matthew 6:5-8

It is interesting, that Jesus tells us NOT to repeat things over and over again for prayer, yet that is the very thing that religion tells us to do. People vainly repeat the Lord’s prayer for example, without having a clue that prayer was actually answered at the cross. Yet that is seldom taught today.
