Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The New Covenant P13 (06-22-21)
I had a conversation with a relative in regard to why Jesus had to die. Her answer was something like, “If such and such did not happen, He would still be alive today.” I think she did not understand what Jesus came to do for us.
John 10:17-18 17 The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life – only to take it up again. 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”
When you ponder over that, you realize there was a plan in the heart of God from the beginning, even before the foundation of the world, to rescue mankind from the fall in the garden of Eden. The entire Old Testament was planned out by God so that man might recognize his condition of spiritual death, that sin caused your death and therefore you are in need of life. The entire New Testament was planned out by God so man can … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

Classic Christianity – A Closer Look at The Word of God P35 (04-27-21)
The bible is a unique book and it answers life’s most important questions. Who is God and what is He like? What does He expect from us? Who are we? Why are we here? It answers those age-old questions. In the word of God, you will also find the elements necessary to live above circumstances instead of being buried under them. The bible gives us counsel on how to get along with family and friends. And even how to get along with our enemies.
The bible is an autobiography of God, a study in human behavior. It is an historical account. It is a counselor’s manual, a textbook on life, and a looking glass into the future. It is a storehouse of riches. I think even more importantly it is a love letter from the Lord Jesus Christ.
When you have let the word of God speak into your heart to not simply know about God, as if just simply a book of information, but to intimately know God, then that transforms your life. The reality of a living God who loves you, who wants to … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
Call-In Classic Christianity Radio – Bob George P607 (02-11-21)
We can be a believer and fall into all kinds of destructive lifestyle choices and become trapped in a sin. Why is that? It is because the renewing of the mind has not occurred or we stopped trusting God. For example, if you think you are still a sinner, then what would you naturally do? Sin. You do what you think you are. But God has called you out of darkness and into the kingdom of Light. You are never in darkness again. Or, you listened to the voice of the world, relied on your own understanding, followed your feelings rather than what you know to be true. There are all kinds of ways we fall short. How often do we worry? And worry is a sin. We are all working out our salvation in fear and trembling. We are saved but God is at work in us, renewing our mind, so we can walk in the new way of the Spirit.
The key to this overcoming of sinful habits and behaviors is to know that you are a child of God, a new creation, a new identity in Christ … Listen to Broadcast & Read More

It is good to receive encouragement from other believers. We all face struggles in life, a son going off to fight a war, burdened when you see your adult son making bad decisions in life, struggles with bitterness or depression, finding it difficult to forgive others who have wronged you. There are all kinds of struggles we face down here. We know these struggles are temporary in light of eternity, but we want answers on how to deal with these things.
Bob himself is encouraged to hear when truth is received and lives are changed. Those who grab a hold of this truth are teaching the same truth that encouraged and helped them into the lives of others. There are bible studies started in prisons and over in other countries where people have been deployed.
Listen as Bob answers questions from various callers, continuing to help others with the gift of teaching God has given him. Of course, the starting point is knowing God as your Lord and Savior. The teaching about salvation, of life in Christ Jesus, is a practical message. Christ in you is your hope of glory, … Listen to Broadcast & Read More
