Understanding the New Covenant is So Important

Water Baptism Doesn’t Save Anyone

~ And while they were gathered together, He commanded them: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift the Father promised, which you have heard Me discuss. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:4,5

~ There are those today, that say water baptism is necessary for salvation. Then there are others saying that water baptism is commanded to be done after a person is saved as though they are doing something bad if they are not baptised with water. Here is the thing though, people have no clue about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is hardly taught today, because most focus on water baptism. And the majority of the time that people are getting water baptised, it is never even explained to them, because the pastors of today are most likely not saved themselves either. And it doesn’t matter whether Catholics or Protestants, this teaching of water baptism is taught as a lie. What About 1 John 1:9 ?

~ The core meaning of biblical confession is to agree with God, NOT to ask for forgiveness. This understanding is rooted in the Greek word for confession, homologeō, which literally means “to say the same thing as another” or “to assent.”

Key Tenets of Biblical Confession

  • Agreement, Not Petition: Confession is an act of agreeing with God about a situation, primarily acknowledging the reality of one’s sin and, more importantly, acknowledging the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
  • Total Forgiveness: Because of Christ’s sacrifice, forgiveness for all sins (past, present, and future) is a complete and established fact. Asking for forgiveness is viewed as undermining the sufficiency of that single, finished work on the cross. We are to thank Him for the forgiveness that was provided at the cross.
  • Interpretation of 1 John 1:9: The passage “If we confess our sins…” is not interpreted as a conditional if that must be met for God to grant forgiveness. Rather, based on the Greek grammatical structure, it speaks to whether or not a believer chooses to agree with the fact that God has already forgiven and cleansed them.

Law And Grace

Don’t Mix Law and Grace

~ If you are hearing from someone that says you’ve got to obey the Law, they are a false prophet. If you are listening to pastor that says you can keep the 10 commandments, get out, because they are teaching foundational lies. Most churches today mix law and grace to some degree. And a little bit of leaven spoils the whole batch. Don’t settle for “church,” because we are the True church who are in Christ Jesus. Today, things are even worse than they were just 25 years ago. There are only a small fraction of churches that teach the TRUTH in regards to total forgiveness. And if you cannot find one in your area, then consider starting a small Bible study, even if it is between you and your spouse. Because if you and your spouse are in Christ Jesus, then the church is fellowshipping together. Or consider having other friends and neighbors over to do a Bible study together too. Share the Truth from the word of God.

A Closer Look at The Truth About Prayer

Praying to God is Talking With Your Best Friend

~ Once you understand who you are in Christ Jesus, and that nothing can separate you from the Love of God (for Jesus is LOVE), then you begin to realize that He is there with us at every moment of the day for us to talk to Him and ask questions of Him. He is there to teach us, to renew our minds, and conform us to His image. He is NOT there to beat us up, or to take us to the woodshed, or to kick us out of the fellowship when we do a sin, and he is not there waiting for us to ask for forgiveness either, because forgiveness was completed at the cross for everyone, for all sins for ALL time. With that in mind, our prayer life is completely free to talk to Him ALL the time. He already knows what we need. Salvation is Life in God Jesus

Being Saved is New Life in Christ Jesus

~ When we accept Jesus, God in the flesh, who took away the sins of the world (and the world includes you and me), he comes to give you His Spirit for Life. Life is salvation. Forgiveness is NOT salvation. The Holy Spirit, baptizes a person into the body of Christ. God places a person into His body, and we become a child of God. Many today are teaching Satan’s lies of getting your sins forgiven for forgiveness as though that is salvation, which is a lie. It’s important to understand the details of the word of God. Don’t gloss over the details. The details in the word of God say that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness by God. And God is not going to ever go to a cross every again. And when a person has the Holy Spirit living in them we are told that we are given a new heart. We now have the heart of God living in us. Allow Him to live His life in and through you.
