Today, We Who are In Christ are Witnesses to Jesus to the World

~ “In this way I have aspired to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation. Rather, as it is written:

“Those who were not told about Him will see,

and those who have not heard will understand.”

That is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.” Romans 15:20-22

~ While this was Paul’s message to the church, it is also for us today. The Holy Spirit is guiding each of us who are in Christ Jesus to be a witness to people that do not know Jesus. And there are many today that think they know Jesus, but in fact don’t know the True Jesus as taught in the Word of God. They are still under their religious system of forgiveness, and this is true for both the Catholic and the Protestants. People looking from the outside will say, “There is not much difference between Catholicism and Protestantism, for they both teach ongoing forgiveness by God.” And they would be correct on that. Both teach Satan’s lies of ongoing forgiveness by God. One has going to a priest for more forgiveness, and the other has going directly to God for more forgiveness, all the while denying the finished work of Jesus on the cross. With them, it is never finished. They spit in the face of God, calling God a liar, when He has said, “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more, and where these have been forgiven (past tense) there is no longer any sacrifice for sins.” Hebrews 10:17,18 Think about it folks, let every man be a liar and God be True. Forgiveness was completed at the cross, for all people, for all sins, for all time.

Do you not say, ‘There are still four months until the harvest’? I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are ripe for harvest. John 4:35

“Well, it’s merely proclaiming Christ to others. That’s all it is, it’s just being available to give the gospel and the good news to people, says in the scripture, to be willing to give an account of the hope that was that is within us. You know, to me, a true witnessing is being just living your life, and as you’re going through life, why? If you have any interest at all in people, you’ll be talking with them. And if you talk long enough and ask some key questions, you’re going to find out that there’s some problems normally in people’s lives. That’s one thing we can count on. When Jesus said, In this world, you’re going to have tribulation, you can count on that. And if you’re just, if you’re kind of astute in the questions that you ask, Why, you’re probably going to identify somebody with a problem period, regardless of who you talk to. And my idea what witnessing is is to apply the good news and the truth of the gospel to meet the need of that problem. So it’s just merely telling people about the way of salvation and the way to be able to be free from depression, to be free from worry, anger, all of the ingredients that go into depression that is very prevalent in the world today. So it’s just being available to share Jesus.” ~ Bob George
