The first caller was Josh calling from Indianapolis, Indiana. His question was in regards to these pastors that are teaching baptism by water as being another gospel, other than the true gospel that saves a person.

Bob agrees and even further expands on this as to point out that there is a baptism of the Holy Spirit. When a person becomes a believer in Jesus, the Holy Spirit baptizes a person by coming to indwell the person.

The second caller, Robert called from Norcross, Georgia. He had a question in regards to Malachi and Nehemiah as it refers to tithing.

Bob explains that tithing was old testament teaching under the law. Listen in as Bob discuss this in more detail.

The next caller was Lynn, calling from Asheville, North Carolina. She was a Pentecostal at one time and was appreciative of Bob’s teaching on the correct understanding of what “Tongues” was for (not being for today), and she wanted to know about another teaching of Pentecostal teaching is, “Slain in the Spirit.”

Bob explains that there is no such thing in scripture. It’s deception and showbiz for them to be doing this kinds of stuff.

Another caller was Jose calling from Whittier, California. His question was in regards to some brothers that believe they should not eat pork and wanted to know how this applied in regards to Romans 14

Bob explains that we should not cause our brother to stumble. Some feel it is okay to eat meat while others don’t. Listen in as Bob explains this in the context of Romans 14.

Our next caller was Dorthy calling from Brownsville, Texas. She wanted Bob’s insight on something that she had heard that didn’t sit right with her, and that was someone said that when you come to Christ Jesus you no longer have a sin nature and that sin nature dies.

Bob explains that while we are living in this body of flesh, our flesh still has sin living in it. We will be at war with the flesh and the Spirit as long as we live in this body of flesh. Listen in as Bob goes into more detail on this area.

Our last caller Angela called from Nashville, Tennessee. She had a question regarding 2 Corinthians 4:4 and wanted clarification on the blindness of people that have not accepted the gospel.

2 Corinthians 4:4
⁴ The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Bob explains this from the proud standpoint. In essence, if a person remains proud, and refuses to believe in Jesus, then they are blinded in their minds by the god of this age. Listen in as Bob gives examples with Pharaoh and Moses. The bottom line is, God gives grace to the humble, but He resists the proud. So in essence, the proud person is blinded to Grace.
