Having a Proper Self Image in Christ Jesus is Important for Living IN Christ Jesus

~ When a person is in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives in them, and he never stops teaching us about the grace of God. Scripture tells us, that we are children of God when we have the Spirit of God living in us. And if a person does not have the Spirit of God living in them, they are not a child of God. This is critical to understand both from a lost and saved perspective. He who has the Son, is Saved, he who does NOT have the Son of God is Dead Lost. A person is dead from a spiritual standpoint, because they do not have the Holy Spirit living in them. Now once a person has the Holy Spirit living in them, then God will discipline them forever. He will teach them Truth. And sometimes that Truth is hard to swallow, because we fell for the lies of Satan, hook, line and sinker. And all of us have issues in our flesh. There is no one without sin. But if someone points out something to you, that you know in your heart is true, don’t deny it, but acknowledge it and allow him to change your mind on things of the world. So having a proper self image is important for life. He is my everything for those who are in Christ Jesus. Don’t get all bent out in the flesh, but allow Him to renew your mind. Likewise, don’t let anyone put you on a guilt trip either. For there are many that are prideful that either better than you are in one area of their flesh, while at the same time they themselves are just as guilty for something else in the flesh.

Ask God to give you wisdom and to show you the Truth of the world we live in today.

Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

~ Is the Law therefore contrary to the promises of God? Never may it be! For if a law had been given being able to impart life, then righteousness indeed would have emerged from out of the Law. But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, so that by faith from Jesus Christ, the promise might be given to those believing.

Now before faith came, we were held in custody under the Law, having been locked up until the faith being about to be revealed, so that the Law has become our trainer unto Christ, so that we might be justified by faith. And faith having come, we are no longer under a trainer.

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither [Ἰουδαῖος (Ioudaios) From Iouda] nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Now if you are of Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise.^{Galatians 3:21-29}

“Well, Matthew, I don’t think that anybody is sitting around, just hoping that someone’s gonna come in and give me some criticism, I don’t, I don’t know anybody that’s in that boat, although it, it does in when it’s talking about the definition of love. And in First Corinthians, it, it talks about the fact of being patient with people and kind to them, and those type of things. But, and always hoping the best and thinking the best and all of those type of things. But again, I don’t think there’s anybody that I know of that’s normal, that just loves for someone to come up and criticize them. I think the response to criticism is in direct proportion to your proper self image. And when your self image and I will set a proper self image not a good one or a bad one, but a proper one is that you’re a child of the living God. And that’s who you are, and you’re secure in the fact that that’s who I am as a child of the living God. And, and therefore, man’s opinion of you is you’re not in bondage to man’s opinion of you. Sure. Now I live for years and years and years in total bondage, to people’s opinions and to their acceptance, I craved the acceptance of man. And, and it wasn’t until I came to read that passage that I was accepted in the Beloved. And I realize that not only was I loved by God, but I was accepted just as I am, that God isn’t through with me yet. But he accepts me in the Beloved. And that changed my life man, as I began to see the truth of that, because I wanted acceptance from people. And, and God is in essence, saying, Bob, if I’ve accepted you, what do you care whether people accept you or not? And it freed me from having to live with this bondage, of having to find acceptance from from man? Sure. And so because I’m accepted and by God, and if, you know, if, if if you don’t want to accept who God accepts, that’s your problem. It’s not mine. And so that helps terrifically in how to handle criticism.” ~ Bob George
