Your Salvation is Eternally Secure in Christ Jesus

~ Anyone in Christ Jesus today, cannot lose what is eternal. Eternal life has been given to everyone who places faith in Jesus. Coming down an aisle to get your sins forgiven is actually a lie spread by agents of Satan. Many people are unknowingly voices for Satan, for they themselves are spreading the lies for Satan every time they tell people to come forward to get their sins forgiven, or to keep on doing ongoing forgiveness. And these same people will also say that you can lose your salvation because they don’t even understand what salvation is. First off, from a logical perspective, how could someone lose something that is eternal? Eternal life begins the very moment a person places faith in Jesus (Jesus God in flesh, forgave their sins at the cross, so that his resurrected life could be given to them to give Eternal life to them), and His Holy Spirit comes to live inside them, giving them eternal life, His Life in them.

If a person falsely believes the gospel that saves is getting their sins forgiven based on asking for forgiveness, or coming forward to get their sins forgiven by God, then there is strong likelihood that many of those people are not actually saved. For at that point in time, Satan has them caught and standing in a lie, thinking they got their sins forgiven when they asked for it. And that is something we see everyday with all denominations. For they all teach a variation of this lie of salvation is getting your sins forgiven. And until a person goes back to the truth of the word of God, they will be tossed by every wind of doctrine by man. For this is very foundational to salvation to understand what salvation is and what it is not. You’re very Life depends upon it. We are saved by the Life of Jesus, Not His Death on the Cross. The cross is what prepared us for eternal salvation, eternal life. But the cross can not give a person life. Only His Life living in you, gives Eternal Life to the dead. You must be born again of the Spirit of God.

Bottom line, once a person is in Christ Jesus, God doesn’t throw you back in the ocean ever again.

~ “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” ^{Romans 5:8-10}

~ “People who think you can lose your salvation don’t know what salvation is. Salvation is being saved from the consequence of sin, which is death. And the only solution to death is life. And that’s why I said when you were dead in your sins and uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ, He forgave all your sins. So in order to give you eternal life, he had to eternally take away the cause of death, which is sin. And to say that you can lose your salvation is to deny the the sufficiency of the cross. It’s to call Jesus a liar when he said, it’s finished. I think it’s a very serious thing for people to do. Jesus at the cross took away eternally the cause of spiritual death, the cause of spiritual death is sin. And Jesus took that away at the cross for the entire world. And the only sin attributable to man, according to Jesus is the sin of the rejection of himself, the one who came to provide all those things for us. And so but getting forgiveness is not salvation. It’s what preparedness for salvation, he had to take away the cause of death, before he could offer the solution to the consequence of sin being dead. And that’s his resurrected life. So we’re saved from death through His resurrection. It’s why Paul said without the resurrection were to be pitied of all people, and they’re still in our sins, knowing full well across it occurred, but also knowing that that that forgiveness that was provided for us then is only received in the resurrection of Christ Jesus. And so the reason people believe that you can lose your salvation is they don’t know what it is. Because they don’t know what salvation is.

The issue is that if you, I ask people all the time, what’s your understanding of the gospel? And I’ll tell you, Cynthia, nine times out of 10, the answer comes back Jesus died for my sins and I said, That’s not the gospel. That’s half the gospel, but it’s not the gospel. And as a matter of fact, that isn’t even the gospel that saves you, in his taking away of your sins, as I said, he had to do that eternally for the sins of the entire world. That’s why there is no excuse for anyone in the world, the cause of their death has been taken away. And the only thing that they have to do is to recognize that there is a consequence to sin called death, and that the only solution to it is resurrected life. And that’s why Jesus is the only person that can bring life to us. Buddha can’t bring life to Him, Mohammed can’t give you life. The Pope can’t give you live, Billy Graham can’t give you life. Only Jesus can give you life. He’s the only resurrected one that can give life to us. And so if you’re dead, and you need life, then that you have to turn to Him for His resurrection. And you have people who gets streamed down aisles every Sunday, come out, come down and get your sins forgiven, there is nothing farther from the truth. That is not true. Your sins are already forgiven. If you’re gonna come forward, go down to get Jesus, but not to get forgiveness, and you get Jesus and in Jesus, you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. And so, if you understand what salvation is, you understand that there is no way in the world that you can lose, because the only thing that could cause that life that has been given to you to depart from you is sin, isn’t it? In other words, what caused the Spirit of God to depart from Adam? Sin. What caused the Spirit of God to depart from Jesus? Sin. Who’s sin? Ours. What’s the only thing could cause the Spirit of God to depart from you? Once you have received life? Sin. Why is that an impossibility? Because of the cross, where Jesus took away the sins of the entire world. See the logic behind it? Yes, yeah, there’s no way to lose your salvation. It’s impossible. Why is it impossible? Because Jesus took away the cause of death. But see, people don’t understand what salvation is. Salvation is the imputation of God’s life in you and me. We think of it oh, that’s when you get your sins forgiven? No, no, salvation is when you receive life. It’s when you have come back alive in Christ. Jesus said, I have the resurrection and the life and whosoever believes in me though he were dead he had shall he live. And whosoever lives and believes in me will never dies if you believe this. So it’s all life. And if you understand what salvation is, you realize because of the cross, it’s impossible to lose it. You had you said that you had downloaded something.” ~ Bob George
