We Are Forgiven! A Child of God Rests in His Forgiveness

~ “You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.” Romans 8:9

~ “The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

If a person does not have the Holy Spirit, they are dead. They are NOT born again of the Spirit of God. They are NOT saved by Jesus’ Life living in them. The cross is what cleared the deck for Eternal Life. The cross took away the sins of the world, and God is no longer counting anyone’s sins against them. This goes for both the lost and the saved. The Resurrection of Jesus, through the Holy Spirit is who provides ETERNAL LIFE. The saved person confesses, says thank you God for having taken away their sins at the cross. The lost person wants to keep getting their sins forgiven over and over and over again. The saved person recognizes the Holy Spirit living in them. The lost lean on their own understanding. The saved person responds in Faith to what God wants them to do. The lost person ONLY does what they themselves want to do, because they do NOT have the Spirit living in them. Now a saved person can still respond with their flesh, but the Holy Spirit is always there teaching us, disciplining us, renewing our mind, showing us the path we should have taken. And that discipline never feels pleasant at the time, especially when we fight against it with our own fleshly desires. And those fleshly desires are doing what I want to do, when I want to do it, the way I want to do it, no matter what, regardless of Truth.

And when you share the Truth of other things in the word of God today, people do not understand them, nor do they accept them, because they are spiritually discerned. So if you are speaking to a person today, that for example, doesn’t believe that Jesus is God in the flesh, or a person doesn’t believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, or believe even simple statements in the word of God that “satan is god of this world” or “no Man is good, no NOT one,” you have to wonder if a person is really saved or not. Because all of those things are spiritually discerned. Now some folks may give lip service to the word of God in certain areas of the word of God, due to brainwashing (for we’ve all been brainwashed by Satan and the world), or ignorance, or maybe being a baby in Christ their whole life, simply feeding on milk or wanting to be spoon feed by Man, and not really asking the Holy Spirit for understanding and wisdom DIRECTLY to know the difference between TRUTH and the Lies of Satan. They lean on their own understanding of things today. They trust in Man, even themselves over that of the Word of God. They do not apply Faith to the equation. And it’s a simple Faith that God is looking for. The book of Hebrews, chapter 11 gives prime examples of faith. The bottom line is, place Faith in TRUTH. His WORD is TRUTH. Jesus is TRUTH. Jesus is God. God wants us ALL to listen to Him today. Faith in Him and His Word is pleasing to God.

Consider having a Bible study yourself and teaching one or two others the Truth of the word of God. Those with ears, they will want to hear. We have many excellent Bible study books that are very easy to use that involve simply reading the word of God and answering the questions provided. The answers themselves are right there in the word of God.

Behold the Lamb of God Who Took Away the Sins of the World

Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

~ “Christ took away your sins of the world. He isn’t dealing with you on the basis of sin and death. Today, he’s already dealt with that. He judged YOUR SINS at the cross, the sins of the whole world at the cross. It was guilty, the punishment was death, and Jesus took it all, and that’s why there’s none left for you. So God and Jesus said, The World sin singular, is just unbelief in me. Now you have already repented of that sin. You couldn’t repent of your sins if you repented of all of them, why you’d be a pretty busy guy, but you’d have repented of the one sin that Jesus said was the world’s sin, and that was unbelief in me. And you have become a believer in Christ, Jesus. As a believer in Christ Jesus, you are a completely forgiven person. You have you have accepted what Jesus came to do for you, and you’ve accepted that by saying thank you. You also live out that faith Lewis, not by continuing to ask him for forgiveness, because that’s a sign that you don’t believe He did forgive you, and that’s unbelief. And he’s not pleased with unbelief. Without faith, it’s impossible to please God, and he’s not faith. He’s not pleased with our presumption. He’s pleased with faith. So when we have come up with all of these nonsensical things and ways of keeping ourself cleansed, He is not pleased with that.. He said, I did that you’re going to have to accept me for what I provided for you, or you’re out on your own, because you can’t have it both ways. And so you are a forgiven person, and as a forgiven person, he’s now dealing with you on the basis of what salvation is, and salvation was the imputation of His life, living in you, which is your hope of glory. That’s the meaning Lewis of the resurrection. He was raised from the dead so that he could raise you from the dead, your state of spiritual death. This is a spiritual birth. Everything I’m talking about is spiritual. So you were spiritually dead, and now you’re spiritually alive, meaning Christ, Jesus lives in you. And we’re told that you have the mind of Christ living in you. That’s awesome to think of. Well, with his mind, I now have a mind greater than mine to participate in, which is a good thing, and I therefore have the ability to participate in that divine nature that lives in me, and so do you. And so we have the ability now to understand and to truly understand because of the Spirit is revealing it to us the Word of God, which is where wisdom is found, and to literally walk in the wisdom of God. But we also have this stupid flesh that you’re talking about, and that flesh will be with us until we die. So if a person just really wants to get rid of sin, I say, Go kill yourself, because that’s when you die. It’s about the only time that’s going to happen. So you better be content with how God left you. He left you here with it for a purpose. And he could have eradicated that sin flesh, but he didn’t eradicate it. He he said that’s still going to be there. Those desires are still going to be there. But if you learn to walk in the Spirit, that’s walking in truth and in grace, you will not be fulfilling the desires of the flesh. So while you’re walking in a trust dependent relationship on Jesus, the response to that is, you’re not going to be fulfilling those desires of the flesh, period. So he didn’t say, clean up the flesh and you’ll be spiritual. And he did not say the desires the flesh would go away. He just said, when you learn to walk in Him, LISTENING to Him, the consequence to that is you won’t be fulfilling the desires of the flesh, and that’s the Christian life. It’s like a branch you’re abiding in the vine. You’re going to be receiving the fruit of the vine when you don’t, you’re on your own.” ~ Bob George
