Abiding in the Holy Spirit is a Moment by Moment Choice by Us

~ “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither you, unless you abide in Me.” John 15:4

~ We are to place faith from first to last. Faith is a moment by moment choice we all have to make. And the faith is that God lives in us when we are in Christ Jesus. And He said the Holy Spirit would direct us in ALL TRUTH. Our flesh doesn’t want to be directed by the Holy Spirit. It wants to do things our own way, instead of His way. And when we fight against what the Holy Spirit wants us to do, we know it in our heart. Because the Holy Spirit will be talking to us, teaching us, disciplining us. And many times that discipline doesn’t feel good at the time. But when we look back on it, we see what the Lord wanted us to understand. And we can say thank you for teaching me TRUTH. Because there are many many lies going on today, that are pushed by Satan and his ministers that make it look like we should be doing such and such a thing, but He directs our paths in Everything.

So, once a person comes to Jesus for Life, His Life lives in us forever. He will teach Truth and will renew our minds. And it is with the power of the Holy Spirit, that we come to know the love of Christ, surpassing all knowledge, so that we may be filled to the measure of the fullness of God Himself.

Therefore I implore you not to lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

... for reason of this I bow my knees to the Father, from whom every family in the heavens and on earth is named, that He might give you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man, for Christ to dwell in your hearts through faith, being rooted and being founded in love, so that you may be fully able, with all the saints, to comprehend what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ surpassing knowledge, so that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God.

Now to the One being able to do exceedingly above all things that we ask or think, according to the power working in us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen. Ephesians 3:13-21

Consider having a Bible study yourself and teaching one or two others the Truth of the word of God. Those with ears, they will want to hear. We have many excellent Bible study books that are very easy to use that involve simply reading the word of God and answering the questions provided. The answers themselves are right there in the word of God.

A caller asked regarding keeping the 10 commandments.

“Your being under the law is, quite frankly, is an attitude of the heart that I’m I’m under the law, but I’m under grace. That’s called a double minded man. Let me give you a passage of scripture there, Renee in Second Corinthians 3 7 through 9. This is a passage to use for people who are saying, well, we may not be under the dietary laws, but we’re still under the 10 Commandments. Well, this passage annihilates that thought we’re not under the law period, because it says that anyone who is under the law number one is on a curse. It also says that Christ is the end of the law. And it also says that those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. And if you’re led by the Spirit of God, you’re not under the law. You. Which means if you are under the law, you’re not led by the Spirit, and if you’re not led by the Spirit, you’re not a son of God. So I would question, I mean, it’s not for me to question a man’s salvation, but it’s for the man himself to question it. If you’re still under the Law, according to Scripture, there’s no way to be led by the Spirit. But at any rate, this passage if a ministry that brought death, and that’s the law, which was engraved in letters of stone. So there’s no other recordation in a bible of anybody coming down with anything written on letters of stone, except Moses, when he came down with the 10 Commandments. And now it said, if that came with glory. So if the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory fading, though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? And if this ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness? There is no righteousness in the law. No man will ever be declared righteous in the sight of God through obedience to the law. And in order for us to ever have the righteousness of God, we have to die to the law that kills us and come alive to the grace of God that saved us through his life.” ~ Bob George
