Classic Christianity – Book of Hebrews P06 (09-11-23)
The Only Solution for Everything is Christ Jesus
Jesus is the only solution to everything we have going wrong in the world today. Many people think that Man can solve man’s problems, but that isn’t so. How many times do we need to see that “no one is good, no NOT one?” God tells us that in his word, but do we really believe it? Most do not believe it and certainly do NOT place faith in that from the word of God. You can tell it by their actions. They constantly promote Man above God. They trust in their own understanding of things. They trust that some person out there is going to come along and save them from this world (or at least in America) we live in. They trust even in their own self effort, that they will somehow be able to escape the world’s fleshly desires on their own. They think, there is nothing wrong with holding out hope that a man is going to somehow save them. They are deceived by Satan. They even place faith in their technology idols, and wrongly justify it that it must be a gift of God to have these gurus that are nothing more than con artists working for team Satan. Satan wants your idolatry in everything else but NOT in Jesus Christ. These people are setting themselves up for worshiping the antichrist.
Those with eyes to see and ears to hear can see and hear what is now going on in the world in which we live. For the temple of God is within born again believers of God. And likewise the temple of Satan is built on the temple of Man too. Do not be ignorant of the fact, that God’s people are the temple of God and the Holy Spirit dwells inside of each believer. For those of you who are in Christ Jesus know this is true in your heart, for God’s Spirit testifies to your spirit that he Lives in you.
~ As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Romans 3:10-12
~ Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. 2 Thessalonians 2:3,4
~ Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 1 Corinthians 3:16

~ “What’s the solution to sin? I mean, that’s good news and bad news. Now if we were left with no solution to sin, like understand why we want to rationalize. I understand why the world wants to rationalize what I don’t understand is why do we as Christians want to rationalize? Why was Paul free to say, hey, got some good news. What is it? I’m a wretched man. You know a psychiatrist say on that get in there. See he’s got a problem. That guy’s got a problem and he calls himself a wretched man. He’s got a problem. He needs to look in the mirror and say I’m okay. You’re okay Paul. Thinking ourselves to be wise, we become utter fools instead. Can you imagine having to go eight years to medical school to get people looking hugging teddy bears? You say, my God you had to go to school learn that? We as Christians, need to understand something, I can say with joy. I am am a wretched man. If I know that the solution to that has been given to Me in Christ Jesus our Lord, where he was able to say, that’s okay. Because of Christ Jesus, I have been freed from all condemnation. The law of the Spirit of Life set me free from the sin of death. And in the midst of sin that is in my flesh, I have Christ Jesus living in my spirit. And I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Praise God. I’m not denying the wretchedness of my flesh. And I certainly am not denying the gloriousness of Christ Jesus. In and of myself is no good thing, left to myself. But with him living in us, it is wonderful. Talk about living in denial my friends, the biggest kind of denial a man could ever live in is denying his own wretchedness. You ought to know that you live inside yourself. You know what you think, don’t you? you know what you feel down in there. Isn’t a just nice, sweet thoughts all the time? I just wake up in the morning just in bliss thinking all the nice things all the time. And that’s the way you live? Well, of course not. You see, we become actors for so long that we believe the act is the reality. We’re scared to death to ever let anybody know what we’re really like inside. That’s why we act. That’s why we lie. Because I don’t want anyone to know what I’m really like inside. And so we put up this false face that is front. We’re scared to death to be real, for fear that somebody’s going to find out what I’m really like inside. That’s denial. When we we’re able to look at ourselves as God sees us, God revealed, all he wanted us to know about man, as Jesus said, I do not need the testimony of man concerning man. I don’t need you, man to tell me about you. I created you. And you may be able to con the people around you. But you can’t con me. I see what goes on in that ticker down there. I see what goes on in that mind. And joy comes from saying in the midst of that, thanks be to God through Jesus Christ, my Lord.” ~ Bob George

Bob George 0:29
You can’t eat up that tree man because you cannot determine right from wrong and good from evil. You’re going to have to come to that tree to get that revealed. You can’t determine it on your own and the very moment that you try on your own to determine right from wrong and good from evil. You’re going to become like God, you’re going to think of yourself like God and be able to say I don’t need God to determine what’s right and wrong and good and evil. I’ll determine it I myself. Don’t tell me there’s something wrong with this. It’s sick. It’s not sin. Don’t tell me I’m not to blame someone else for the way I am. Of course, I’m to blame someone else. Why, that’s what we men have figured out. Don’t come and tell me that. Let me rip that seventh chapter of Romans out of the Bible or that Paul is a male chauvinist anyway, what’s he know? Wrote in there that the things I want to do, I don’t do the things I don’t want to do, I do them anyway. And if I do what I don’t want to do, it’s clear what the problem is. There’s sin living in me! Doesn’t he understand it’s because he had a background or a mother or was potty trained too early? Or he hadn’t discovered the little boy in himself yet? You need some teddy bears? Don’t tell me God, that sin is the reason I’m the way I am. Let me shift the blame onto somebody else. Let me blame my mother or my background or somebody else. That’s why I’m the way I am. Certainly don’t. Certainly don’t tell me it’s sin. I don’t even like that word. Let me believe it’s someone else. Don’t ever accuse me of being able to be blamed and be responsible for my own actions. Don’t ever tell me that I am responsible for my own choices. We blame it on somebody else. My miseries not because I’m not experiencing love and joy and peace because of my relationship with God, my misery is cause of you. If you could shape up I’d be happy. My circumstances would change would be happy if I could get a little more money, I’d be happy. If I could live a little better place I’d be happy. Build build a little bigger house be happy. Get a little more educated I’d be then I’d be happy. That’s what’s that’s why all this crimes going on. Because people are uneducated. Isn’t that weird? In World War Two, the most educated nations of the world with Japan, Germany, the United States, what were they doing with their education? Blown the daylights out of each other. Think all you got to do is get people educated, educated in what in stupidity. We’re educated beyond our intelligence anyway. So the world comes in and says that’s what you need, education. That’s the problem with the world. Come up and say no, no, no, it’s not just education. What you need is more money. Well, we’ve seen that don’t we, if money brought you happiness, where you could drive down Beverly Hills in California and just knock on any door just find bliss. Money is not the answer. Education is not the answer. Success is not the answer. It is as shallow as anything you ever want to see in your life success. What is it to begin with? You can be a total success in one field of endeavor and an absolute failure in another. You can be a successful businessman, a total failure as a husband and a wife, and a father, and a mother. What is this thing called success? And these things called success.
So we come up with every idea in the world, don’t we? Because we’ve chosen to go to the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and say I’m going to become like God. I don’t need you God to determine what’s right and wrong, good from evil. We talked about that. The second chapter of John Jesus said I don’t need man’s testimony about man to tell me about man I created you. I don’t need to consult Fraud to find out what your problem is. I created I told you what your problem is. It’s called sin. Quit try to complicate it. Good trying to rationalize it justify it. It’s what it is. The reason I’m miserable inside sometimes cause of sin. Isn’t it you or because you had a mother?
What’s the solution to sin? I mean, that’s good news and bad news. Now if we were left with no solution to sin, like understand why we want to rationalize. I understand why the world wants to rationalize what I don’t understand is why do we as Christians want to rationalize? Why was Paul free to say, hey, got some good news. What is it? I see what goes on in that mind. And joy comes from saying in the midst of that, thanks be to God through Jesus Christ, my Lord.
That’s why I love him. there isn’t anybody that knows me, like God, He knows me better. And I know me. And He loves me anyway. And he accepts me anyway. And he says, That’s okay, Bob. because when I tell you something, I’m not through with you. And I’m gonna complete the work that I began in. And in the meantime, Bob, had if you were as perfect as you would like people to think, why it take you only about five minutes, that you would be so confident in you that you’d never depend on me again. So it’s really pretty good that you’re in that crudy body that you’re in. Because it does bring you to your senses about 1000 times a day. Doesn’t it? And therefore if anyone ever does see anything good come out of you, they’re gonna know who did it. And so are you. So really, I’ve created quite a nice balance down here, if you’ll just think about it. So why don’t you quit trying to perform and make people think something different than when you are? Be yourself. Let me be me. And and I guarantee if you’ll do that people will see something about God occasionally coming through you. I realize it’s gonna be a little hard to get through that. But I am powerful enough to do that after I did call the world into existence and that is not a lot more difficult but a little bit more difficult than trying to show myself to you.
Now Christ did not have the sin nature that you and I have, he did not have indwelling sin living in him. And therefore, when you looked at him, you saw the totality of what God was like. And so he is the radiance of God’s glory, the exact representation of his being sustaining all things by his powerful word. My friends, you and I have never seen the sun. If we did, we’d be blind, we have merely seen the reflection of the sun. In other words, the reflection is a direct, representative, and exact representative of what the sun really is. The moon is a reflection of what the sun and the moon is made in such a way, with its little reflective the soil up there is like little mirrors. And it was made by God with these little mirrors all over it. So when a sun hits it, it reflects the glory of the sun. And quite frankly, the moon is kind of a reflection of what the church is the body of Christ, it is light in the midst of darkness. That’s what we are to be on the face of this earth as ambassadors is a light that can be seen, not the light, he’s the light but a reflection of the light in the midst of darkness. We live in a dark, perverted world. And it says in that world, you Bob are not the light, but I’ve made you in such a way that you can be a reflection of the light. And if you’ll yield yourself to me, who is the Son, the exact representation of God Himself, reflect myself in and through you. And a dark world is going to know somewhat of what I am like, if you’ll let me reflect myself through you.

Bob George 13:26
That’s exciting to think that we could be a moon. But again, the book of Hebrews is saying and putting everything in its proper perspective. Folks, I want to say something. Christ is superior over the angels because he made the angels. He is superior over the revelation because he is the revelation. He is superior over Moses, he made Moses. He is superior over the priesthood. He’s the one who made the priesthood. He’s superior over sacrifices. He’s the one who originated those sacrifices to point as a preamble to what he was going to do. He is superior over everything. So when you’re putting priorities, realize something, all good things come from him and from him alone. So don’t ever put your emphasis on you and what you’re doing. Your emphasis is always on him and what he’s doing. If you want to walk by faith, you’re going to have to walk by faith in Him, not you. After he Christ had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. You realize people that there are people who are well known writers, great theologians that are still trying to purify the church. When it says right here that after he provided purification for sins, he already provided purification for sins. We’re not trying to purify ourselves, trying to purify the church, let’s get the church purified. So that when Jesus said, and that’s a big deal here in America, I’ve told people you can get this place as pure as you want to, but he ain’t coming back here anyway. When He returns in coming to America, he’s coming over to Israel. He didn’t say he’s gonna plant his feet on the Mount of Olives, not on the Olive Garden. He doesn’t like Italian food, likes kosher food. You’re trying to purify yourself. If you’re gonna try purify yourself, what would that be trying to get all sin out of you? If you ever tried that? That’s a lifetime endeavor. How you think you’re gonna get all a sin out of you when the Bible says that sin in dwells in you. If you’re going to get sin out of you, what would you have to get rid of? Indwelling sin. How are you going to get rid of that die? So if you really want to purify yourself, I got a way to do that. It’s called a gun in the head. As long as you and I are in this flesh, we are indwelt by what? Indwelling sin. How could you purify yourself of sins when you’re in dwelt with sin? Now what he say the solution with that is? walk by faith in me, that’s walk in the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the desires of the flesh. Where did the desires of the flesh come from? Sin. What kind of sin? Indwelling sin. Did he say? Get rid of it purify yourself? No. He said, You can’t purify that stuff. Walk by Faith and there is a cause and effect. The effect is when you’re walking in a trust relationship on me, you won’t be fulfilling the desires of that flesh. Did it say clean up the flesh and you’ll be spiritual? Is that what it said? Purify that place man get after it. When you’re trying to clean up your flesh, what is your mind on? Flesh. What is the Bible say about that? A mind that is on the flesh what? Sows to the flesh. If you’re trying to clean up your flesh you’re gonna find yourself sowing in what your trying to clean up. That’s like me telling you right now close your eyes all of you and I want you to think of a red monkey. Then after I do that, saying I quit thinking about red monkey. And now red monkeys I want you to quit thinking about don’t ever think of red, monkey scarlet red monkey. Now what are you think about? A red monkey. And the more you talk about it and quit trying to think about it the more you’re thinking about what you’re trying to quit thinking about. Aren’t you? So how the world you got to purify yourself are clean up your sins? Just can’t. that’s what prayers I’m going to stop this habit. I’m gonna stop this habit. Satan says what habit? Which one? Tell it to me again? What’s the nature of that habit? Man by the time he’s through with it you want to go do it. There’s, no that’s been settled. Okay, you got sin nature indwelling sin living in you grant you that it manifests itself I grant you that, but my grace is more sufficient than your sin. If you’re going to walk in victory you’re going to have to walk by victory and my grace not in trying to clean up your sin nature.
Talked about it before but I’ll end with it’s like the kid has grabbed hold his little teddy bear and I mean he’s holding on for dear life. That’s his security blanket and brother I want to tell you you try to take that teddy bear away from that kid. And he screams like a like a stuck hog. Never lived in Indiana. I don’t know what that’s like. That’s a lot of noise. Stuck hog. Screams yells can’t get away from it. When you say how in the world am I ever got to get this kid from reliance on this teddy bear? Said really easy. You get him a puppy and you put the little puppy in a plate thing and that little kid immediately as little as it is notices something about that puppy. It’s alive. The teddy bear the kid can kiss the teddy bear. But the teddy bear can’t kiss you back. He finds As it when he kisses the puppy, puppy licks him back, he’s alive. Little teddy bear, he talked to the teddy bear but the teddy bear can’t talk back to him unless we live in fantasy and dream that he can. But with the dog being tucked cocked that dog that dog yaps, and kind of talks back to him, it’s alive. Now what happens when you become preoccupied with something that’s alive? Well, you become so preoccupied with a puppy. And over a period of time, the preoccupation with a puppy is so strong, and you just kind of reach in and take that little teddy bear and lift it out, play pin, the kid done, you know, it’s gone. Why? Preoccupied of the puppy. That’s exactly what the Christian life is about. It is growing to the point of realizing that this Christ Jesus, who created you is alive. He lives in you. He loves you. He’s accepted you, he’s forgiven you, it’s over. There is no more condemnation for you who are in Christ Jesus, the law of the Spirit of Life set me free from what? The law of sin and death. The law of the living puppy set me free from the law of the dead teddy bear. And so it said, be preoccupied with the puppy, walk in the Spirit, walk in this newness of life preoccupied with him, who is the radiance of God’s glory, the exact representation of his being sustaining all things by his powerful word. The one that all things were created for him and by him and nothing was made that was not made by him, that Jesus who’s alive living in you be preoccupied with him, and what he’s doing instead of you and what you’re doing. And as strange as that seems, the result of that is you’re going to find in your life, you won’t be fulfilling all of these stupid desires of the flesh. Again, it didn’t say clean up the flesh and you’ll be spiritual. It didn’t say the desires of the flesh would go away. It just said, when you become preoccupied with Him and Him alone, quit trying to rationalize your behavior. Quit trying to shift the blame on somebody else. Quit trying to go back into introspection. Quit trying to discover the little girl and little boy in you. Throw away your teddy bear and become preoccupied with the living Christ. That’s pretty good.
Father, dear Lord Jesus Christ has become superior to all things he is God Himself and He is alive. In his love for us, and in your lab for us, you came to this earth, took upon yourself our humanity so that we could not only see what God was like, but see what we can be like when we walked by you. Indwelt each and every one of us by this thing called indwelling sin that will be with us until we’re absent from the body and present with the Lord. And one of the things that we look for and we hope for is one of these days being shared of that body of sin. That’s the time that we will truly be absent from the body present with you. Never to see sin again or death, war, hardships, trials and tribulation. But in the meantime, you’ve asked us to live on the face of this earth to be a reflection of you. It’s a great exchange. Just a few brief years on this earth in the midst of trials and tribulations, in the midst of the struggle that we have between the flesh and spirit, in the midst of the rejection of the world, we can experience the total acceptance from you. But in exchange for that lifestyle, you’ve told us that one of these He will take His home to be with you forever never to see it again. And we say Lord, that’s a good deal. So Father, allow us not to become discouraged, despondent, life is just a vapor. Just doesn’t last long, teach us to quit taking herself seriously. We’re kind of a joke anyway, if the fact is known. And allow us to just began to live life to take a vacation and enjoy this marvelous relationship that you’ve called us into. through Jesus Christ our Lord. And it’s in His wonderful name that we pray.

3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
