Those Under Law Are NOT Lead By the Holy Spirit

~ The person who is under law cannot be lead by the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit does not live in them. They are NOT children of God. They are lost and in need of salvation for life. And as the Scriptures says, salvation is Life in Christ Jesus. Jesus is Life. Those in Jesus, have Life. Those that don’t have Jesus are dead, for the Holy Spirit of God does not live in them. Many will say that they are saved, when in reality they don’t know what salvation is. They have all different ideas of salvation. Some think they are saved when they got their sins forgiven (when they asked God to forgive them the first time in their life). This is NOT salvation. Other times, people think they are saved when they got baptized by water by a priest or a pastor. This is NOT salvation. Other’s think they are saved, when they do more good works rather than bad works, and that God grades on the curve. This is NOT salvation. Salvation is HIS Life living in you. If you think you are obeying the law, you don’t have a clue about how stringent the law is. Jesus said only perfection will do. The Law buries you. The Spirit of God gives LIFE, ETERNAL Life to you when you place faith in Jesus, and Jesus alone for True Salvation. Then a person becomes a child of God. Don’t let anyone try to put you back under the law. Don’t be as the Galatians, who allowed themselves to be tricked into trying to live under the law. And Satan’s false ministers of self righteousness will indeed cast a spell on you thinking that you have to somehow do good works yourself. This is a lie of Satan that is perverse today.

Ask God to give you wisdom and to show you the Truth of the world we live in today.

Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

~ But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. ^{Romans 5:18}

~ O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?  Are you so foolish? After starting in the Spirit, are you now finishing in the flesh? Have you suffered so much for nothing, if it really was for nothing? Does God lavish His Spirit on you and work miracles among you because you practice the law, or because you hear and believe? ^{Galatians 3:1-5}

“These passages of Scripture to me have gripped my heart in regard to the commingling of law and grace. And they’re contained in Romans and also in the book of Galatians. In Romans 8:14, it says, because those who are led by the Spirit are sons of God. Now, I’m gonna go over that again, those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Galatians 5:18 says, but if you’re led by the Spirit, you’re not under the law. So he’s saying that, in essence, if you’re under the law, you cannot be led by the Spirit. And if you’re not led by the Spirit, you’re not sons of God. Now, that’s what the scripture is saying, that didn’t come from Bob George, that’s out of the Scripture. Let me go over it again. Those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. And if you’re led by the Spirit, you’re not under the law. Now, if it’s true this way, you got to reverse it. If you’re under the law, you’re not led by the Spirit. And if you’re not led by the Spirit, you’re not a son of God. Now that’s severe, but that’s what the scripture says. And so what I have to assume on that time type of thing is where Paul called the people who are trying to commingle long grace He called him foolish. You foolish idiotic Galatians, who has hypnotized you and cast an evil spell upon you? He said, you used to see the meaning of Christ’s death as clearly as though I had waved a placecard in front of you. He said, Have you’ve gone crazy? He said, Let me ask you a question, Did you receive the Spirit of God by obeying the law or by believing what you heard? And after beginning by faith, why are you now trying to perfect yourself by human effort. And Paul nailed people with that kind of an attitude of commingling law and grace. It’s what’s called Galatianism. And so what people don’t understand is that the work of Christ Jesus, and the work of the law is preparatory to salvation. The law was given to show us our need for the cross, and for the resurrection. The law shows you two things about yourself, you’re a sinner, and you’re dead, the wages of sin is death. And if you don’t see that from the law, you haven’t caught what the law is trying to say to you. The law was put in charge to lead us to Christ so that we might be justified by faith. And now that faith has come, we’re no longer under the supervision of the law, the law has done its work. And now it’s time for Christ to do his work. So the wall was given to us to prepare us for salvation. Jesus came as an extension of the law to deal with us even further, because the law deals in the exterior. Christ came to get under the skin. The law deals with adultery. Jesus dealt with lust, the law deals with murder, Jesus dealt with anger towards your brother. And he got under the skin if the law didn’t do it to you. Then Jesus came and said, Okay, I’ll tell you the meaning of the law. And that’s going to get under your skin. And now once that’s got under your skin, you’re ready for the cross. And for the resurrection, which is the only solutions to sin and death. The cross is the only solution to sin. And the resurrection is the only solution to death. And until you’re prepared for those two things, you’ll never have an appreciation of them, or an experience with them. And so we have to understand that whenever you’re trying to commingle Law and Grace, he’s saying to us, you can’t be led by the Spirit. I get back to those two passages. Those who are led by the Spirit are sons of God. But if you’re led by the Spirit, you’re not under the law. Meaning if you’re under the law, you can’t be led by the Spirit. And if you’re not led by the Spirit, you’re not a son of God. That’s how I interpret the Scripture. Now Hope that helps Jerry.” ~ Bob George
