Legalism Comes in Many Many Forms Today

~ There are many folks that will use ONLY the King James translation of the bible and are so into it, and pound it down people’s throats, that they worship the translation of the Bible itself, instead of worshipping the TRUTH, JESUS himself. They will elevate the translation even above the copies of the original manuscripts of the word of God. In fact, they don’t even know what salvation is. And that is the tip of the iceberg with people like this. They refuse to come to the knowledge of TRUTH. They think that the original words written down must have been written down in the English language. And yet when you question them, well what about all the other countries of the world, where they don’t speak English? And they will simply make some sort of lame excuse that well today English is the most prevalent language used, as though that makes it correct to be a KJV only person. If a place or pastor is promoting KJV only, you can bet they are off on some key doctrines of scripture itself. And it is highly likely that they themselves (pastors included), do NOT have the Spirit of God living in them. They have as their hobby horse, the false doctrine that only KJV is the inspired word of God.

And know this, to understand what the word of God means, requires having the Holy Spirit alive living in you. For only the Holy Spirit can teach you ALL Truth and teach you the meaning of ALL things.

Ask God to give you wisdom and to show you the Truth of the world we live in today.

Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. ^{Romans 8:9}

“Well, Ron, to me, it says that it has to be the most ridiculous, the people expounding that I don’t know where their minds are. It can’t I don’t think there’s any way in a world that you can even begin to perceive a person thinking logically who would come up with those kind of ridiculous statements in the first place. The King James is a translation. If King James English was the only Bible so to speak, what in the world are the Germans studying? What are the Japanese studying? What are the French studying? What are all of the other languages of the world studying, they’re studying Bibles that are not true, because for sure, the German Bible translation is not King James. There were many translations prior to King James in existence. The Wickliffe translation came out into English and about 1532. You had Tindall, you had all kinds of Scripture, the bishop Bible, the Geneva Bible, all of those that were translations from the original manuscripts or from from manuscripts. The manuscripts is what is the word of God, there is no translation that is the word of God. It’s a translation of the word of God, that the word of God are the manuscripts. We don’t have any original manuscripts in our hands, Ron, but we have hundreds of copies of those manuscripts. And the accuracy of those manuscripts as an example, the Old Testament was translated into, into Greek, hundreds of years before Christ, called the Septuagint. And I wouldn’t be surprised that that was a possibly what Jesus Christ, Himself even studied would been the Septuagint, or their original manuscripts that were in existence in those days, called scrolls, which would be a huge Scroll of one book of the Bible, it talks about in the scripture of of Jesus reading from the scrolls, his first sermon that he performed, as far as we know, they’re in Nazareth. But those were original manuscripts, anything else is a translation. And these people that are into this King James, only staff, I, quite frankly, do not know what in the world they’re thinking of. I don’t think they’re thinking period. I had a person on the air one time and I asked the question about what about all these other languages? And their comment was, well, the fact the matter is most people speaking English anyway. Well, can you think of any thing dumber than that?” ~ Bob George
