Open Your Eyes, The Apostasy Rebellion Has Already Taken Place

~ Today we are going to open with the word of God:

~ “Now we implore you, brothers, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together unto Him, for you not quickly to be shaken in mind, nor to be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as if by us, as that day of the Lord is present. No one should deceive you in any way, because it is not until the apostasy (rebellion) shall have come first, and the man of lawlessness shall have been revealed—the son of destruction, the one opposing and exalting himself above every so-called god or object of worship—so as for him to sit down in the temple of God, setting forth that he himself is God.” ^{2 Thessalonians 2:1-4}

We are at that point in time, where people will not endure sound doctrine. We are told that in scripture that would be the case in the last days. The message of grace is seldom received today with an open heart. People want to feel like they are doing something for God. They want to keep going back to their confession booths. The Catholics go to their confession booth with a priest and the Protestant goes to their virtual confession booth asking God to do what he has already done. The message of “God is not counting your sins against you” is NOT being taught any any meaningful way. Sure there are pockets of truth being taught, but by in large truth is rejected. People have rebelled against the truth. They live in apostasy today. They have fallen away from the grace of God. And not only that, but these same people will promote false teachers based on what their itching ears want to hear. They have forgotten their foundation, they have fallen away from Truth. They would rather promote Satan’s false agents of righteousness, than share the TRUTH of the word of God.

~ I had a question. I wanted to know if you’re saved, and you backslide, and you die in the middle of you backsliding? What happens to your soul? And where in the Scripture can I find? Find that to know what happened…?

~ “There isn’t anything in New Testament talking about backsliding. The issue is what people can do is to stop temporarily or whatever it might be walking by faith or to get kind of get back into the world. That’s explained in the Scripture. If you’re getting back in the world, and if God is convicted you of that the issue is to get back where you belong. If you’re saved, you see the terminology is saved. How were you saved temporarily or eternally? What kind of life did God give you a temporal life or eternal life? Eternal. Well, then how could you lose eternal life? Right. So you see Tori, that when you are in Christ, what salvation is, is being saved from the consequence of sin, which is death, by the gift of God, which is life, and the only life available to us is the resurrected life of Christ Jesus. So when you come to Christ, you’re coming to him, to give you life to be saved from the spiritual death that you’re in, and to be made alive in Christ Jesus. Now it says in him there in that life, you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, in other words, the forgiveness that was provided for the entire world, and for you, was received in the resurrected life of Christ Jesus. That’s why it says in the Bible, while we were yet enemies, or let’s just say when Tori, when you were anatomy, you were reconciled to God through the death of his son. And that means you were reconciled to God as far as sins are concerned, when you were born, but it goes ahead to say how much more now having been reconciled, that being an accomplished fact, will you be saved by His life, you’re not saved by the death of Christ, you’re saved by the life of Christ. The cross is what prepared you for that salvation by taking away permanently the cause of spiritual death, which is sin, and taking it away so that sin can no longer cause spiritual death. And that’s why you have eternal life, when you come to Christ for life is because the thing that could cause you to lose that life is sin. And the reason that’s an impossibility is because of the cross where He took away the sins of the world. So when if you fall away, when you’re falling away means you’re just getting back into the world, you’ve been suckered back into the world with different things. And the solution to that is to get back where you belong. That can happen to anybody. Quite frankly, if anybody thinks that they have totally escaped from the totality of the world, they’re crazy. Because we all have things that the world tugs us in, it may not be as obvious as some things but in our thinking, it can even be that way. And so the issue is when the Spirit of God who lives in you explains to you and begins to convict you of the fact that Tori you’re walking in a way that is not consistent with who you are as a child of God, because inconsistent with your identity, and you agree with him, you say you you know, Lord, you’re 100% right. And I thank you for the fact you took away those sins of the cross. And I now ask you to lead me and guide me into all truth.” ~ Bob George
