Jesus Wants Us to Be Real Honest With Him

~ God can handle our questioning of him. He can handle our questions about things. He knows our hearts. He can even handle our anger from us. So to vocalize out loud what is on our heart is completely natural and God wants us to be real with him and with ourselves.

Keep in mind, we live on this side of the cross. Jesus’ work is complete. All sins were taken away from the eyes of God and he is no longer counting them against us. And if a person is in Christ Jesus, Jesus lives in them, via the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives life to the Man (man and woman) of God. And true Man needs to be indwelt by God. Otherwise they are not really Man. So when you express frustration or anger to God, you are doing it directly to God already in your heart. You can keep it bottled up, or you can vocalize out loud what is bothering you. And the Holy Spirit will teach you the truth of the matter. For God is the author of All Truth.

There is much going on in the world today that are the lies of Satan. People don’t realize the world we live in and the deception that is all around us. It involves every aspect of the world we live in. So it is natural to become upset by something we think should occur, yet it is not in God’s timing. But here is the thing, because the Holy Spirit lives in the believer, he will teach you of the things of the world. He will teach you of his timing. He will teach you all things. So don’t be afraid to vocalize what you don’t know to God. And allow him to teach you truth.

~ Then I said, “Ah, Lord GOD, how completely You have deceived this people and Jerusalem by saying, ‘You will have peace,’ while a sword is at our throats.” ^{Jeremiah 4:10}

~ Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. ^{Romans 5:3-5}

Caller
~ “I just had a question, real quick about Jeremiah 4:10. Think it says, Oh, how you deceive them, oh, Lord, and I didn’t think it’s in our Lord’s nature to deceive. So just like your thoughts, please?”

Bob George
~ “Well, again, this is coming out of the mouth of Jeremiah. And he is just what he said. Then I said, ah Sovereign Lord, how completely You’ve deceived the people of Jerusalem by saying you will have peace when the sword is at our throats it’s it’s it’s a statement of frustration that you said that we’re going to have peace. But right now there’s a sword at our throat. It was the same type of thing of people looking for the Messiah, Mike, they weren’t looking for a reigning Messiah they were looking at or a suffering Messiah, they’re looking for a reigning Messiah. So the issue is yes, there is going to be peace in Jerusalem and the Lord has declared that but when peace is going to be in Jerusalem was when the Prince of Peach appears. And every eye is going to look upon the one whom they pierced and every knee is going to bow and declare him as Jesus is Lord until that time there is going to be any peace in Jerusalem. But the Lord has pronounced that there’s going to be peace. But in the meantime, you’re going to have trial and tribulation. So that is basically is Jeremiah’s misunderstanding, obviously, of what the Lord meant when he said, You’re gonna have peace and thinking, I want it now. It’s like a person prays for patience, and I want it right now. So it’s merely a statement made by Jeremiah. I think he I think he’s, I think he has a lot of guts to say that to God to be real honest. Yeah. But it’s, you know, that’s one of the beauties some of the prayers in the Old Testament of David, man, he just blasted, Yeah, right out of their socks, you know, and, yep. So, but I think God, He wants that kind of honesty. He knows what we’re thinking inside. And so they’re thinking that we may as well express it.” ~ Bob George
