Forgiveness Was Finished At The Cross For The Sins of The Whole World

~ “Well, where they’ve missed the boat is, as we’re told in Romans, is that while we were yet enemies, that means when you were lost, you were reconciled to God to the death of his Son, you are reconciled to God in regard to your sins when you were born. Then it says how much more having been reconciled. In other words, this being an accomplished fact show you be saved by His life. You’re not saved to the death of Christ, you’re saved by the life of Christ. You’re saved from the consequence of sin, which is death by the gift of God which is life. And that’s why all through the Scripture Jesus I came at you might have life I’m the WAY and the TRUTH and the LIFE he has the Son has life who does not have the Son of God does not have life, I’m the resurrection and the life. The whole issue of salvation is being made alive in Christ Jesus, which is the only solution to the to the consequence of sin being dead. And so instead of going on to realize that No, Jesus cleared the deck for the divine action of bringing life to the dead, for the whole world, he took away the sins of the entire world. And Jesus said, The World sin, singular now is unbelief in me. The only sin attributable to man is the rejection of the Son of God who came to this earth and suffered and died in order to pull this off, so that you and I get to be able to experience life in Christ Jesus. So by not going on to the resurrection, even though Paul said, without the resurrection were to be pitied of all people and are still in our sins, knowing full well that the cross it occurred where he took away the sins of the world, but also knowing something that we evidently have never known or if we have forgotten, that that forgiveness that was provided back then, is only received in the resurrected life of Christ Jesus. Forgiveness takes care of the forgiveness of sin, but it cannot bring life to the death. Only resurrection can bring life to the dead. So because of not knowing that, and because of having a belief system that says your saved by getting your sins forgiven, they had the spin that into saying, That can’t mean for the world, because that would be universal salvation. So we’ll spin that. And say he just died for the elect. And so now you’ve got elected people. Now you got God having if they’re elected, having to choose that you’re going to, you’re going to die in hell Courtney. Because I didn’t choose you. I chose your husband, but I didn’t choose you. Well, I say what kind of a god is that that would bring somebody into the earth and to choose them for eternal damnation think how long eternal damnation is, what kind of a god is that? And I say somebody’s sick in regard to their understanding of God. And so what you’ve got there is, you’ve had to spin that, then you’ve had the spin that we don’t have a will. And that also is taught that we just can’t resist and and that our spirit is so dead, that we could not even accept, put the faith to accept Jesus. And as the faith was given to us, that also is nonsense. My human spirit, and a lost person, human spirit is dead to God, but it’s very much alive to the world. That’s why men are incurably religious. That’s why you can go into the remotest most remote areas of the world and people are seeking God. That’s why you and me before we came to Christ, were seeking God, it’s not because I was one of the elect, it was because I had a human spirit that was empty of what left. And that’s the Spirit of God living in me. And I was empty, and I was looking to get that vacuum filled. How could that be if my spirit was so dead, that it couldn’t even respond to God? It’s nonsense. And so you’ve had to come up with with all of that all of these different theologies had this come over come as a result of that one mistake, that your saved, by getting your sins forgiven. And there’s where it happened, and today is that all the spins are out there, all of these teaching that you don’t have a will. That’s nonsense, we have a wheel and everything we do, our life is full of choices. And so at any rate, it’s been an interesting thing to me, as I’ve had the opportunity to discussing that with many, many people. But that is the root of the problem. The root of the problem was if your premise is off, your findings are going to be off. And their premise was off when they had to spin forgiveness, because they had to spin up because thinking of getting your sins forgiven of salvation. And quite frankly, Courtney many, many churches today teach that. I mean, if you just get right down to listening very carefully to the appeals, it’s come, isn’t it come get your sins forgiven. Come forward into Baptist churches that I was in, come forward, get your sins forgiven. Come to the cross and get your sins forgiven. And nobody talks about the meaning of the resurrection and people many times go back to the pew as as dead as they went to the altar, because he didn’t come to Christ for life, they came to him only for forgiveness.”
