Scripture tells us that some went from us because they were never a part of us. They never had the Holy Spirit alive living in them.
1 John 2:19
19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
We get it in our heads many times and put people on a pedestal. Yet even the Apostle Paul points out that we should not be focused on the messenger, but rather on being taught by the Holy Spirit and the word of God. We need to trust the Holy Spirit alive living in us, not men.
1 Corinthians 3:5
5 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task.
Don’t be a man worshiper. We are all fallible human beings. A person could be lying to you. They could be mixed up and teaching false doctrine. They can be all over the place. We are nothing and should not elevate ourselves either. For one person sows a seed, another waters but God makes it grow.
1 Corinthians 3:7
7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
However, when the Holy Spirit teaches you Truth, you will have it. The Holy Spirit will change your life through the teaching of TRUTH! The Holy Spirit in you will testify to truth.
Repentance is a changing of your mind. So many times, we have been in error and not standing in Truth. When we listen to the Holy Spirit, He will teach you all truth. Trust in the Holy Spirit today.
A Closer Look at The Reality of the Resurrection
The Holy Spirit is pointing to Jesus as the Word of God. Believe Him for all Truth. He will teach you the meaning of things. He will teach you all things. Trust in Him and Him alone for understanding the word of God.
John 14:26
26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Here is such an import truth that we need to understand, for those that are in Christ Jesus, we have the mind of Christ living in us. He will renew our minds if we trust in Him to teach us all truth. Thank God that we have the mind of Christ!
1 Corinthians 2:16
16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
Understand that we (the old you) has been crucified. The new you now lives by faith in Jesus who lives in each and every believer in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit is teaching you this truth. Grab hold of it. For His eternal life lives in You!
Galatians 2:11
11 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
So how do we exercise this hope? By faith.
John 15:5
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
So now, we abide in Christ Jesus. If you have Christ living in you, you are now a brand new person. You are a SAINT. You are no longer a sinner. Understand that you are no longer a sinner. God sees you as a saint. He sees you as a child of God. We need to see ourselves as He sees us!
1 John 4:10 (KJV)
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Jesus took away the wrath of God for our sins. He did not atone for sins, He took them away. Propitiation means it was satisfied for the sins of the whole world. It is finished. He loved us so much that He did this for us! He took away ALL OUR SINS! Once we grab a hold of this Truth then we rest in His Love for us. This is what it means to obey Him. Rest in His Love for you today.
John 3:3
3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
