Quit Insulting the Spirit of Grace

~ The book of Hebrews is all about faith vs walking around in unbelief. People continually insult the Spirit of grace when they keep on asking for what God has already done. It is finished. Forgiveness is done with. Today God is NOT forgiving anyone’s sins. He forgave (past tense) everyone’s sins at the cross. He forgave ALL Your Sins at the Cross. And without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. So when a person keeps on asking God for more forgiveness, it makes a mockery of the cross and insults the Spirit of Grace. It’s spitting in the face of God, calling God a liar.

Get rid of listening to liars and deceivers of the word of God. You know in your heart, if the Holy Spirit lives in you, He is testifying to the fact that forgiveness is finished. So why would anyone give to liars and deceivers? Why would anyone support ministries that teach the lie of Satan? Why would anyone give to build better jail cells for the agents of Satan? Quit supporting those that insult the Spirit of Grace. And it’s all tied together. Satan uses his agents to spread lies.

~ If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume all adversaries. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think one deserves to be punished who has trampled on the Son of God, profaned the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and insulted the Spirit of grace? ^{Hebrews 10:26-29}

~ “I’ll tell you there legalists have been using this verse along with with chapter six, which it says chapter six, same thing talking about it’s impossible for those who have what’s been enlightened and tasted the heavenly gift shared and Holy Spirit who have tasted the goodness of the Word of God, and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, debris bought back to repentance, because to their loss there crucifying the Son of God all over again, subjecting in Republic disgrace. Now, what does that mean? Well, it talks about that you can’t be brought back to repentance, why can’t you be brought back to repentance? Because you’ve never repented. In other words, you can’t be brought back from where you haven’t been. And so what is dealing here is you’ve been enlightened, but you have never repented. That’s why you can’t be brought back. You don’t need to be brought back. You need to change your mind, and repent. Because if you’re still trying to gain forgiveness, then you’re going to have to crucify the Son of God all over again and subjecting the public disgrace, because without his dying on the cross, there is no forgiveness. And so in all of those cases, you’re dealing with people who continue tenaciously to deny in their own actions, and even in their own words, the completeness of the cross, and keep trying to add to what Jesus accomplished, by begging him to do what in him they already have. And the Bible is, to me on this, Richard is very severe with it. I mean, it says that, if you’re going to continue sinning after you receive the knowledge of truth, there’s no sacrifice for sins. And all you have to look forward to is the fearful expectation of judgment in the raging via consumed the enemies of God, that’s pretty severe to me. Yeah, me too. And people who are continuing to say that you have to go do penance, and you have to go to the confession booth and you have to keep First John one nining. And you have to go to the altar call and keep asking God to forgive you. You’re sinning against the knowledge of truth, because the truth is, and he’s already taken away your sin. He’s already provided forgiveness for you. And instead of continually begging him and asking him to do what he’s already done, we should be thanking him for the grace of God that’s been given to us. Thank him for the New Covenant that we live in today, which we just read, which is what they’re sending against. And that is their sins and lawless acts. I’ll remember no more this is the covenant is the new agreement between God and man your sins, I’ll remember no more. And where these have been forgiven. There’s no longer any sacrifice for sins. Amen. Yeah, that’s the good news of the gospel. Richard, we ought to be rejoicing like crazy with that but people’s pride still say I want something to do with this.” ~ Bob George
