Everyone Has Been Given a Choice By God

~ God gave everyone a free will, including the angels too. We can see free will playing itself out from the beginning of the word of God to the end. Some have a difficult time understanding the fact, that if God were to wipe out people today because of evil, none of us would be alive today. For God is not a respecter of persons. He treats everyone at the same level. We find that people today ask the question, “How can a benevolent God allow all the evil in the world?” Well if he didn’t, then we would all be given permanent death physical death. For God would not allow anyone to live, because everyone does wrong. Furthermore, God is looking at the heart of everyone. We know that if a person gets angry with someone, they have committed murder in their heart. We also know from the word of God that if anyone looks with lust with another person they have committed adultery in their heart.

So the main choice we are given is to either believe God or not. The choice is believe Jesus died for your sins, or don’t believe. The choice is everyone’s. For the person that exercises faith, the Holy Spirit gives life to the dead person. And there are billions of dead people today that need Life.

~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” ^{John 11:25,26}

What about all the evil in the world?
~ “Well, again, James, think of that. Think about this for a minute. God’s option to giving man a free will, is to make robots out of us. Yes, sir. So, if we were robots, then you could blame everything on God. Because all the, all the robot is doing is just doing what God is saying to do. But he chose, but he didn’t make us robots, he gave us a choice. Because what God wants from us is to love him. And for him to love us to have a relationship of love with his creation. That’s how He created Adam and Eve. Now would man chose not to pay any attention to God? And to say, God, I don’t need you to determine right from wrong and good from evil. I’ll do it on my own. Now, is God going to therefore saying I gave you a free will, but I’m not going to make you a robot. I said, Well, why didn’t you make me a robot to begin with? You see, because if he says I give you a free will, but I’m going to stop what you’re doing. Well, then I’m back to be being a robot. Aren’t I? You’re being made. Yeah. So again, do you want to be a robot? Or do you want to recognize that there is a freewill that has been given to man? James, again, if we will back up and I don’t know whether all this is going to help your father in law, it sounds to me like he’s he’s too far gone, a person that’s been through wars and paratroopers and all this stuff, and then heart surgery and everything else and doesn’t turn to the Lord, you say, you know, I think the Lord is probably allowed him to get hit in the head with the two by four enough times. And if he isn’t going to turn with that he’s never going to turn but I don’t know that. But maybe this will be helpful to you.” ~ Bob George
