The Deception in The World is Far Greater Than Most Imagine

~ “For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they believe the lie,” 2 Thessalonians 2:11

~ “And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” Revelation 20:3
~ “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.” Revelation 20:7,8

~ Most people have no clue of the evil that is going on all around us today. We have swallowed satan’s lies hook, line and sinker and pass them on to others with hardly any thought on the matter. People think that satan could never deceive them, when the reality is we have ALL been deceived by satan, and it occurs everyday. Most believe EVERYTHING they see on the Tell-a-Vision, and yet it is nothing but lies and deception. This requires wisdom and understanding directly from God to see the Truth of everything. First off, All religion is corrupted and sells satan’s lies from the inside. Those that know the Truth of forgiveness should realize that by now. Not one of us has been immune to all of satan’s lies that are taught to us from the day we were born. For we were All born into a world filled with deception. And only God can show it to you and expose it. Ask Him to give you wisdom, and He will give it to you with great abundance without finding fault.

Bible Study Books

Bob George discusses the abandonment of true faith in Christ, emphasizing that many people have faith based on denominational or traditional beliefs rather than in Christ. He warns of the deception of teachings like “slaying in the Spirit” and the importance of standing firm on biblical truths, particularly regarding sin. Bob interprets 2 Thessalonians 2:7 as referring to the Holy Spirit holding back total lawlessness until the Antichrist is revealed. He also addresses the struggle with besetting sins, stressing the need for a genuine desire to be God’s person and the role of self-control as a fruit of the Spirit.

“But again, the same thing is very true today, that there are people who have abandoned true faith in Christ Jesus, and are really following deceiving spirits. What do you think people are following who are standing up and saying, I’m going to slay you in the Spirit? When there anything in the in the Bible about slaying people in the Spirit, the Spirit didn’t come to knock people down. He came give them life. And all of the deception that you see many times on some of these people on television, telling you that if you don’t give money, God’s going to zap you, and all that. That’s that is a teaching of God. That’s a teaching of deceiving spirits. That’s what Satan comes to do, is deceive you with error well that’s going on today. They’ve abandoned any faith and truth and are holding on to their own teachings, or what he says, hypocritical liars, which I believe is exactly what I see on an awful lot of television, exactly what those people are that there’s conscience have been seared. They have no regrets about deceiving people and lying to people and acting like they’re talking to the dead and everything else. So that’s going on right now.” ~ Bob George
