To Know God is to Know Jesus

~ If you want to know God, you need to know Jesus. Jesus is the exact representation of God the Father. “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” Hebrews 1:3 And the place we can get to know Jesus, is through the Scriptures. When the Holy Spirit comes to live in the believer, He begins to teach you the Truth of the word of God. There are those that don’t know Jesus, that are teaching the lies of Satan in regards to ongoing forgiveness, or getting your sins forgiven today by God, when it is obvious they don’t have a clue about the new covenant. Why would someone want to park their body on a Sunday morning in this type of setting to be taught these key lies is beyond me. You know in your heart, the Holy Spirit is talking to you, and telling you ALL your sins have been taken away at the cross for ever. So why would a person want to pay some preacher to teach them that more forgiveness is required by God? Furthermore, there are those in the church that hold up and market those people that teach this huge lie of Satan. Why would someone do that? Do they not know that their sins were taken away at the cross? Are they saved themselves? Chances are, they are NOT saved, and do not have the Holy Spirit living in them. They would much rather be taught by Man (man and woman) rather than God. They lean on their own understanding of everything today. Furthermore, trust in no man, but in everything go to God for the Truth about all things. For all of us were taught lies of Satan, and we passed those lies on to others without even realizing we were doing that. It is time to break free from that mode of brainwashing, and submit to God, and He will make straight all our paths. As has been said numerous times, if you have not repented of anything (changed your mind about anything) especially in the last four years, then you are not growing in the knowledge and wisdom of Jesus, our God. And just maybe, the reason you haven’t changed your mind about anything is quite possibly the Holy Spirit does not reside in you, and His discipline is not upon you. For God disciplines (trains and instructs) His children always for our good. For “no discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11 So, have you felt the discipline of the Lord in your life? Have you been trained to see the world as God sees the world? Or are you still trusting in the things of the world for understanding? For nothing is as it seems in the world today. Maybe some of you have prayed this prayer below, and others of you have not. If you want to be taught wisdom from God, ask and it shall be given unto you with great abundance, without finding fault. It’s a simple prayer, that will open your eyes to the world in which we live.

Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

On many past occasions and in many different ways, God spoke to our fathers through the prophets. But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son,a whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. So He became as far superior to the angels as the name He has inherited is excellent beyond theirs. _{Hebrews 1:1-4}

“Well, it’s called the apostate church, and it is basically a spirit of unbelief, which is, I think, is prevalent in our church today. Apostate church is one who on the outside of proclaiming Jesus and on the inside they don’t know him from a plum, okay, it is. It is basically just having a zeal for God many times, but not in accordance with knowledge. Okay, yeah, it’s just falling away. When you fall away, Jimmy from the Word of God. The only source that we have for understanding God was given to us in the Word of God. Now He revealed Himself to us in nature and those type of things, and I understand that. But for me to really know God, I’m going to have to go to the Bible to get to know who he sent so that I could know Him and who he sent was Jesus. And it says in times past, God revealed Himself through many ways, in various and in sundry ways and means, through prophets and dreams and that type of thing. But their but now comes in that. Is the contrast. In these last days, He has revealed Himself through His Son. And so everything that God wants us to know about himself is in Jesus. And so if we want to get to know God, we’re going to have to get to know Jesus. And you don’t go to the Reader’s Digest to find that out, you’re going to have to go into the scriptures. What he gave us to get to know him is the Scriptures. And so an apostate church is falling away from the validity of the of the scriptures.” ~ Bob George
