The Unpardonable Sin is The Rejection of Jesus

~ The rejection of Jesus comes in many different forms. There are those that deny Jesus outright, and don’t believe he is God in the flesh. Then there are those that reject what Jesus did on the cross. This is a more subtle form of rejection of Jesus, because it is difficult for other people to tell whether a person is saved or not. Most people that claim they are Christian will actually agree that Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. But by their actions, it is obvious that they don’t believe they are completely forgiven and that they continue to ask for more forgiveness by God. This is true of both Catholics and Protestants that claim to be “Christian.” Obviously only God knows who is really saved, born again of the Spirit (has the Holy Spirit living in them for life), but we are told to judge and test the spirits. For NOT all spirits are of God. Yet we tend to overlook that very instruction in the word of God. For we don’t want to pay attention to the details, because they may be too uncomfortable to find out the truth, and we might not like what we find out. And if someone tells you not to judge, because they use the word of God out of context, then remind them that the spiritual man judges ALL things. And do not trust in any man, but only place your trust in God alone.

~ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. ^{1 John 4:1}

~ But he who is spiritual judges all things, but he himself is judged by no one. ^{1 Corinthians 2:15}

~ All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. ^{2 Corinthians 5:18-21}

Bob George:
~ “Don’t consider what God does with our feeble stuff. What we do down here, that’s very dangerous. People say, Well, I don’t know if I’ve, my kid has to come back and ask for forgiveness. Surely God does know, what you do. And what God does is two different things. Now, let me explain what that is. God has forgiven all men, sins. God was in Christ, reconciling the whole world unto Himself, not counting your sins against them, there’ll be no man who will ever go to hell because of his sins, he’ll go to hell, because of the one sin Jesus said is the world’s sin is unbelief in me. The only sin attributable to man is the sin of the rejection of the Son of Man. And so that is what’s called the unpardonable sin. The sins of the world have been taken away from the eyes of God. And that’s why I think you’re gonna have people biting their elbows when they come to the Day of Judgment, when all they would have had to have done was to accept the fact that they were dead spiritually, and to receive the resurrected life of Christ Jesus, and they were too stupid to do so. And so, but the sins of the world are to have been taken away. So when Jesus said to forgive 70 times seven, he wasn’t talking about 490 times the seven is mean, it does mean completeness. It means eternal, forgive your brother, as I have forgiven you. How to Jesus forgive us?Eternally and unconditionally. And so that is merely a way of the Bible expressing a kind of complete forgiveness. There’s no numbers to it, it’s just forgive. And that is how God did us. But the one sin that cannot be forgiven, is the rejection of Jesus who did that for us, rejecting the fact that he came and took away our sins, and entered into our death with us so that we can enter into His resurrected life with him. That’s the only sin that’s attributable to man. So that’s why you have people both lost and saved Charles. And people say, well, that’s not fair. You got some people sending more than I do. And he said, Well, yeah, there’s some people sending less than you do. So how you going to put all his sins together, and determined where the line is when you’ve sin too much? And so he just took all sin reduced all of us to death, we are all dead. You’re born into this world dead as a hammer, spiritually. And I’ve taken away the cause of death and that sin and I did it for everyone.” ~ Bob George
