When a Person is in Christ They are Set Free From The Law of Sin and Death

~ No one is saved by joining a church. No one is saved by being a Catholic, or a Baptist or a Protestant. A person is saved by the Life of God coming to live in them, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit when a person exercises faith in Jesus and what he did on the cross for them. For without the Holy Spirit living in them, a person is still under the power of sin and death. For death remains upon a person that is NOT in Christ Jesus. They do not have the Holy Spirit living in them. But once they are in Christ Jesus, and He is in them, they are born again of the Spirit, and have been set free from the law of sin and death. They are under a new law, called the Law of the Spirit who gives Life. And nothing can take away Life once a person has received the Holy Spirit for their LIFE. So if you are still under the law of sin and death, that is easy to correct, simply by placing faith in Jesus, who took away ALL your sins at the cross and the Holy Spirit will come to take up residence in you for Life for all eternity.

~ Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. ^{Romans 8:1,2}

~ “Armando, the power of sin is in the law. If she’s a Catholic, she’s under the law. Because that’s the way you live in other words, your sin until you go to your priest and get confession. And then if you’re doing something that you know you shouldn’t be you then you don’t want to go to the priest. That’s law. Number one or anything the Bible by going to a priest, you go to the Lord. But again, if she’s under the law, she’s under the power of sin. Now, again, if you have children, you know that all you have to do to get that A child don’t want to do something is tell him don’t do it. There was a hotel in, in Texas here that the balconies of the hotel went out over the ocean. And all of a sudden they started finding windows broken. And and they say, Well, what’s going on? They said, well, people are fishing off the balcony, and the weight is coming back and breaking the windows. And people say, well, when did this start? They said it started when we put a sign up, don’t fish off the balcony. And that’s when all of it started. They said guy to the guy said, How are we going to keep people from doing it? Said very easy, take the sign down. And they’ve taken the sign down. I’ve never had a broken window, since. The power of sin is in the law. And that’s why as people we have to get free from the law and to get led by the Spirit of God who lives in us. And you’re not going to do that when you’re tied up and legalism or listening. And I’m not saying there’s anything wrong, but listening to what the Bible says instead of what man says. And now if what man says lines up with what the Bible says why then that’s, that’s good. You kind of got a double whammy going. But you don’t go to man, you go to God. Yes, exactly. And so when you understand that the power of sin is in the law, and Christ is the end of the law, so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes, you’re the decision making process. Armando, is this, is it permissible? Yes. Is it profitable? No. In comparison to you better not do that are God’s gonna zap you. Well, that just makes you want to get away with it. And so I would say that I that, you know, again, I don’t know how strong your relationship is with the Lord Armando. I don’t know whether you know, Christ Jesus personally, or whether it’s been a religious type of experience. I don’t know where she is. But I do know that she’s struggling. If she’s admitting to you that she’s doing wrong, she’s struggling, but she doesn’t know how to get out of it. It’s like Paul said, the things I want to do, I don’t do and the things I don’t want to do I do anyway. And what and what was his solution? He came to recognize, wretched man that I am.

Let me read something to you here for a minute, because I think it’s, it’s something that your wife would be going through at this particular time. And you may be going through the same thing, okay, in Romans seven, Romans seven, verse 14, we know that the law is spiritual. Now what you’re going to notice on here, and what I’ve done in those passages is I’ve put a circle around every I and me and myself and I, it tells you something. I know the law is spiritual, but I am unspiritual sold as a slave to sin. I don’t understand what I do for what I want to do, I don’t do and what I hate I do. And if I do what I don’t want to do, I agree the law is good. But as it is, it’s no longer I myself who do it but it’s st living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me that is in my flesh or my sin nature. For I have the desire to do what’s good, but I can’t carry it out. For what I do is not the good that I want to do, and know the evil that I don’t want to do this I keep on doing. Now, if I do what I don’t want to do, it’s no longer I who do it. But it’s sin living in Me that does it. And so I find this law at work. When I want to do good evil is right there with me. Were in my inner being I did light and God’s law, but I see another law work and the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin. At work within my members. Here’s the key. What a wretched man that I am. Who will rescue me from this body of death? The answer Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ, my lord. Chapter Eight. There is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. There’s nothing that God will ever condemn you. For once you have stepped out of Adam into Christ, and Christ stepped out of heaven into you. There’s no condemnation awaiting you who are in Christ Jesus. Why? Because the law of the Spirit of Life has set me free from the law of sin and death. You and I are born under the law of sin and death. It’s a consequence of sin. And we have to be freed from the law of sin and death by the law of life. And that’s where the resurrection of Christ Jesus Armando comes in, is where the resurrection of Christ is what raises you and me from our condition of spiritual death. In the condition of spiritual death, the things you want to do you don’t the things you don’t want to do your doom anyway, the very thing that I was reading is an example of people who are spiritually dead. You want to do God’s will, you’d like to do God as well, but you can’t carry it out. And that could be very exactly what your wife’s going through. It could be what you’re going through, I don’t know. But the only solution to that is to put aside religion and say, No, this is the agreement between God in me that if I have the sun, I have life. And if I don’t have the sun, I don’t have life. And these things I’ve written unto You who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life, when you enter into that life of Christ, Armando, the life of Jesus comes to live within you, that doesn’t happen to taken away for that happens by faith when the literal Jesus comes to take up residence in your heart. And as it says, In the Bible, we have the mind of Christ living in us. And so that’s a that is new birth, that takes place by faith and by faith alone. And until that faith is exercised, and we become born again of the Spirit, our lifestyle, is what I read the things you want to do, you don’t do the things you don’t want to do you do them anyway. You cannot carry out your the desires of your own heart. And if I keep on doing what I don’t want to do, it’s clear where the problem is. Sin has me in its control.” – Bob George
