Jesus Became Sin For Us So That We Could in Him Become the Righteousness of God

~ Jesus took upon himself, the sins of the whole world, that includes your sins and my sins, and he bore them himself, on our behalf, and took them away forever, from the eyes of God, never to see them again. And because of that he is no longer counting our sins against us. And there is only one sin that needs repented of, and that is the sin of unbelief in Christ Jesus and turn to Jesus for Life. It is difficult for many to accept by faith, the truth of the word of God.

The reason he took our sins away is so that we could become the righteousness of Christ Jesus through faith in Him, and in Him alone. We can’t add anything to salvation, not even water baptism as some want to do. And because people have drifted so far from the truth of the word of God, and seek to justify themselves in various ways, none of which is going to make a person saved, they are foolishly resting on their own understanding of salvation instead of Truth.

Man makes the salvation message complicated. Yet the salvation message is simple, that a child can understand it. We were all born into this world as sinners. Only through faith in the person and work of Jesus, God in the flesh, for having taken their sins away on the cross, and to give them life at that very moment in time when they repent (change their mind) of who Jesus is and what he did for them, this is the only thing that saves a person. Do you believe this?

~ God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. ^{2 Corinthians 5:21}

~ “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” ^{1 Peter 2:24}

~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” ^{John 11:25,26}

~ And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. ^{Romans 3:22,23}

~ “Jesus repeated that at the crossed in and by God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? And basically the reason that he said that was taking us back to the 22nd Psalm where it starts off, oh, my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? And describes crucifixion, in detail, the hundreds of years before death by crucifixion was even known to man, right? And so it pointed, he pointed us back to the fact that what you see taking place on this cross is not an accident. Nor was it the design of man, this was prophesied. This is something that I had to do in order to save mankind. And so when you’re talking about My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? The awareness of God, but as he became sin, and getting full of sin, when you’re full of sin, you can’t be full of sin and full of God at the same time. And so there was really a separation that took place because of what Jesus had to do become sin for us. And in so doing is a separation with that separation? Oh, we don’t know that matter. Doesn’t matter, does it? No, no, no, it was until his act until it was finished. And that was the end of the separation after his work was completed. And he who knew no sin became sin, so that we could become the righteousness of God In Him when that work was completed. I would have to say, when did that end when he cried out, it’s finished.” ~ Bob George
