Listen to The Holy Spirit and Stop Listening to The Teaching of Men

~ “Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.” Psalm 146:3

Pay heed to the teaching of God instead of putting faith in man (no matter who that man is), for we have said it before and will say it again, anyone can be teaching error and many are teaching error without even realizing it. Those that are children of God have the Holy Spirit living in them, and have been given eternal life through faith in Jesus. Pay attention to the Holy Spirit’s teaching, because everyone in Christ Jesus has the same Holy Spirit, living in them, to guide a person into ALL truth. How often we hear of people that listen to a whole bunch of false teachers, and do NOT listen to the Holy Spirit, the teacher of ALL truth. Time to turn off the television, turn off the radio, turn off the internet, and start listening to the Holy Spirit teach you the meaning of the word of God.

And that goes for people that think there is another man that can save them from this world we live in. They are trusting a “man” to save them from something. They think there is a man that can save America, or even save the world from destruction. And we are fast approaching the time of the end. For there is NO MAN that is going to save anyone, and yet people will fill up their social media with idols of people left and right. They will idolize this politician or that politician, they will idolize what they perceive to be tech geniuses, as though they are gifts from God. They will even tell you that too, that a certain person “is a gift from God.” It’s all a lie of Satan. He wants you to idolize anyone else, but not Jesus, God the creator of ALL things. He wants you to place your faith in man, not God.

The word of God is crystal clear in this matter. Trust in NO MAN. Place your Trust only in Jesus, for He and He alone is the One that saves a person. And there is a HUGE warning in the word of God concerning that very thing. Cursed is anyone who trusts man. Heed the warning. Pay attention to details.

~ This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. ^{Jeremiah 17:5}

~ It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
^{Psalm 118:9}

~ Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods. ^{Psalm 40:4}

~ “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” ^{Jeremiah 17:7-8}

Bob George:
~ “Unless the Spirit of God reveals the meaning of the word of God to you, you are not going to know what the word of God means. And therefore you’ve got to lean on your own understanding, because you’re not depending upon the word of God. … Let’s just go on here. I’m going to read scriptures to you. And then if you can come to any other conclusion, why, you got a different Bible, the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ. And now that faith has come, we are no longer under the law. whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, how come? So that every mouth may be silenced. In other words, to shut your mouth and held accountable to God, therefore, no one, Now listen to this, no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law, rather through the law, we become conscious of sin. Now, you got hung up on a passage of scripture over there that says that that is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. Now this passage tells us that no one will ever be declared righteous in the sight by observing the law. So how do you interpret that passage of scripture that’s true, that the only people that would be declared righteous in their own in their own works would be those who obeyed the law and every single point of it and never violated the least of it. No one’s ever done that. So it tells us that nobody will ever be declared righteous in his sight through obedience to the law. Now that faith has come, you’re no longer under the law. Let’s take a look at what the law can’t do for you. The law cannot justify you. Again, it says that, that we put our faith in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law, no one will be justified. Paul said, I don’t set aside the grace of God, if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing. So the law can’t make you righteous. The law can’t justify you. The law can give you life, I found that the very commandment there was intended to bring life brought death. And so, all the law could do is to show you that you’re dead. And until we come to a conclusion of seeing that we’re dead, we’re not ready for salvation. We’ve just gone to a half salvation to get our sins forgiven. And then oh, incidentally, that’s just up until the time that you accepted Christ. From that point on, you got to keep accounts, your own accounts to God, you got to keep up with them yourself. And that’s what people are taught. That’s not salvation, you’re not saved to getting your sins forgiven. You’re saved by the resurrection of Christ Jesus. So all the law can do is stir up sin. We’re told in the scripture that the power of sin is in the law. And so when Paul, remember when he said, I would not have known what coveting was, had the law not said, Don’t covet. But when they said, I read that, it said that, that the law stirred up passions that were aroused by the law, and I died. Yeah. So we have to understand the totality. There is no way of salvation through obedience to the law.” ~ Bob George
