Forgiveness Was Done Once for ALL ~ Jesus Finished The Forgiveness Work

~ “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,” Hebrews 10:6

~ Do we really believe that God has forgiven us of all our sins, if we continually ask for what he has already done? We are calling God a liar with our mouth when we continually ask him for more forgiveness. We are sinning against the knowledge of Truth. And there are pastors and teachers that purposely teach this error. They are being used as controlled opposition for Satan.

~ “When Jesus cried out from the cross it is finished, he meant it’s finished. He didn’t say it’s almost finished, it will be finished sooner or later, it will be finished when you continue to keep short accounts with God. He said, My death on the cross was the final sacrifice of the very life of God himself. Who, which was of such quality, that it was able to compensate for the sins of the entire world. And when Jesus went to a cross, and that work was finished, and he said, paid in full, he meant paid in full, he did not mean paid in part. So my problem is this, why are peoples still going not only as an example, in the Catholic Church to a confession booth to get forgiveness, that’s what they’re there for, to get forgiveness from the priest and on top of that repentance to do? Is there any other conclusion that you can come to except the fact that they do not believe that they are forgiven? Does that make sense to you? Can you come to the conclusion that if you’re going to Jesus every week, and ask him to forgive you and do that you don’t think he has forgiven you? I don’t know why you’d be asking somebody unless you thought they hadn’t forgiven you. How can that be saving faith?”

“And I’m not camping just on a Catholic, the Protestants are just as bad. We just don’t go to a priest. We think we got the right to just go direct. But the issue is, what are you going there period? Why aren’t you going to thank him for what he’s doing. And you don’t have to go to a priest to do that. Nor do you have to try to keep short accounts with God to do that, or go to First John one nine to do that. The issue is that if you live in faith, you live in faith with the fact that you are a forgiving person. And a forgiven person when they sin is going to be able to say thank you, Lord, for what you did. And praise him for the fact that he took away that sin at the Cross never to see it again. Not when you ask, but 2000 years ago, at the cross.”

Now that we are on this side of the cross, we should be shouting the following from the rooftops, “Behold the Lamb of God, Jesus, who took away (past tense) the sins of the world!” The question today is, Do you believe it?
