The Apostle Paul Taught The Full Message of Grace

~ “Therefore, beloved, expecting these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and without blemish.

And esteem the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom having been given to him, as also in all the letters, speaking in them concerning these things, among which some things are difficult to be understood, which the ignorant and unestablished distort to their own destruction, as also the other Scriptures.

Therefore beloved, knowing this beforehand, you beware, lest you should fall from the own steadfastness, having been led away by the error of the lawless. But grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. ” 2 Peter 3:14-18

~ There are many many people today who distort the TRUTH that the Apostle Paul taught. It goes on big time especially those who think they are living under the law. They are hypocrites and are only fooling themselves in thinking they are perfect lawkeepers. They have no clue what grace even is. Most of these people are not saved, and scripture backs that up, where it says “they distort it to their own destruction, as also the other Scriptures.” So it should not surprise us that Paul is often vilified by those pretend lawkeepers. But don’t let those pretend lawkeepers drag you down. Get out of those type of “church” settings, which is no church at all today. Anyone preaching that a person can keep the law of God is NOT saved. They are preaching satan’s lies. And though there may be some true born again people who have fallen from grace and are believing the lie, they need to be corrected in their thinking. Tell it like it is. Be bold in your proclamation of the TRUE message of Grace. And grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Bob George discusses the concept of freedom in Christ, referencing Galatians 2:11-12. Rosemary questions why the apostles, especially Peter, seemed to back away from this freedom. Bob explains that Paul was sent to the Gentiles, Peter opened salvation to Gentiles, but James and the HEBREW church initially resisted this freedom. Bob emphasizes that it took time for the HEBREW church to fully embrace grace. He also clarifies the role of the Holy Spirit in the Trinity and the concept of soul sleep, arguing against it. Bob advises focusing on Christ to address habits like smoking in individuals with medical issues.

“We don’t know. Yeah, really, we do not know. But again, you say, why? The same reason that you could have a person who would come to Christ, who was brought up in a Catholic church, and go back to the rituals, be saved by grace, but still hang on to the rituals. You don’t have to be a Catholic to hang on to rituals. You could do that in Protestant denominations. There are many denominations as ritualistic as the Catholics, but there’s, there’s comfort in familiarity. Yeah, I guess that’s true and but the fact of the matter is that that’s why Paul was Paul, and that’s why he never let up on that, on the message of God’s grace and the ultimately, you. Peter had to testify that some of the things that Paul teaches are confusing, but they’re from God, yes, and to acknowledge that they were from God, so we have to realize that, just like us, it takes time. And we think because somebody was an apostle, and why they had gotten it immediately, that’s not true. They were just human beings like you and me, and it took time for that message to sink in. But again, when you stop to think of a man like Paul, who was more steeped probably in the legalistic teaching than even Peter was, and yet, when he caught it, he caught it. And I think a lot of him catching it was or being willing for it to be revealed to him, is a better way of putting it, is because he went to the Gentiles. And I quite frankly, think that when you’ve grown up in these ritualistic churches, you got to leave them for a while in order to get free, otherwise you get sucked right back into it again. And I think the reason Paul was as determined as he was and as tenacious as he was is, he got away from all of that garbage and was out with the Gentiles that had none of that tradition, and therefore was able to see, you know, it’s all Jesus and none of us.” – Bob George
