Classic Christianity – Book of Romans P37 (01-13-25)

Jesus is The Resurrection and The Life ~ Do You Believe This?

~ When Jesus arrived, He found that Lazarus had already spent four days in the tomb. Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, a little less than two miles away, and many of the Jews had come to Martha and Mary to console them in the loss of their brother. So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet Him, but Mary stayed at home.

Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that God will give You whatever You ask of Him.”

“Your brother will rise again,” Jesus told her.

Martha replied, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

“Yes, Lord,” she answered, “I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world.” John 11:17-27

Jesus, God, raised Lazarus physically from the dead prior to Jesus taking the sins of the world away at the cross. It’s important for us to understand that, because there were several resurrections from the dead that the word of God speaks of prior to Jesus going to the cross. These resurrections were physical in nature, and that means that they would have died again in their natural physical bodies. But this death was but a temporary death in the Old Testament. Yes, everything prior to Jesus going to the cross is still under the Old Testament. For the New Covenant did not begin until the death of Jesus on the cross. In addition to raising Lazarus from the dead, Jesus also raised Jairus’ daughter (Luke 8:40–56) and son of the widow of Nain (Luke 7:11-17) as recorded in the scriptures.

So we see that God can raise anyone from the dead. That’s also an important point. “When Jesus arrived, He found that Lazarus had already spent four days in the tomb.” John 11:17 And imagine how the body would have been stinking and rotting already at this point in time. Keep in mind, that God can resurrect a person no matter how long they have been dead. But there is another resurrection that is much more important than physical resurrection of the body, and that is Spiritual resurrection with the Holy Spirit giving Eternal Life to the person who places faith in Jesus. That is the greater miracle. Jesus spoke of that throughout the word of God. And He tells Martha, even though a person dies (physically), the one that believes in Jesus will NEVER die. The details matter in the word of God. Don’t overlook the details. So if you want to Live, then place faith in Jesus, God in the flesh, the Truth teller of ALL TRUTH. God in the flesh, who took away the sins of the world, so that in Him, we might become the righteousness of God.

18 And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, having done what, will I inherit eternal life?”
19 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good, except God alone.

~ “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12

~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one believing in Me, even if he should die, he will live. And everyone living and believing in Me shall never die, to the age. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26

~ Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man, as an offering for sin. He thus condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteous standard of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God.

You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you.

Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation, but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption to sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. And if we are children, then we are heirs: heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.

I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the revelation of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not by its own will, but because of the One who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time. Not only that, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see? But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.

What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things? Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For Your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:1-39

Pray to God:

Do you really want to know the WHOLE Truth of what is going on today?

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

Lord Jesus, teach me the truth of the world today and give me the wisdom to know the truth and identify the lies of the devil. Thank you God.”

~ So folks, this is not a minor issue, nor was it a minor issue to the Apostle Paul. For the Apostle Paul to make a statement like he did, that without the resurrection, we’re to be pitied, of all people and are still in our sins. That is a stringent statement, folks, and he’s telling you exactly where salvation is to be found, and that’s in Him, in His resurrected life, that life that raised Him from the dead came to raise me from the dead, and I was born dead, and when I came to Jesus, I came alive, and when I came alive, I received what he came to give me redemption and the forgiveness of sins. That’s the good news of the gospel. It’s not how bad you are, it’s how dead you are. And we’ve been pointing our bony fingers at people that go around curves and every other place, telling you, you keep on sinning you’re going to go to hell, and that’s a lie. You’re going to go to hell when you refuse life, when you refuse the life of Jesus, you’re going to remain dead. “I’m the resurrection, and I’m the life. And whosoever believes in me though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” ~ Bob George

But that’s not salvation. That’s what I just quoted a moment ago, that while we were yet enemies that’s lost, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son that happened for the whole world, how much more having been reconciled. So you be saved by his what? His life, and that’s why it says in him, you have what? Redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Where is this forgiveness that was provided for the whole world, received? In HIM. If I, if somebody came to you and said, I put a million bucks in your bank account, and if you spend it, it’ll be replenished, you say you’re kidding me. No, I’m not kidding you. It’s there. Well, where do I go get it? In the bank. I don’t like the bank. I like 711 Well, I’m sorry, the money is not in 711 and there’s no ATMs. The money’s in the bank. Well, I don’t want to go to the bank, then you’re going to die a pauper, because what has been provided for you, you’re not going to where it is received, and you’re going to die a pauper. Is that right or wrong? If I don’t go to the bank, I’m going to die a pauper. Why? Because I’m too stupid to go to the bank. And he says, the money is in the bank. Salvation is in Jesus. It isn’t in Mohammed or Buddha. Salvation is in Jesus, and it’s in his resurrected life. He came that you might have what? LIFE. What do you need life for? Because you’re dead, I’m the resurrection and the life. What do you need life for? Because you’re dead. He who has the Son has life. He who does not have the Son of God does not have life. What does it mean when you don’t have life? It means you’re dead. Why don’t we understand this? We keep streaming people down aisles to get forgiveness. Get forgiveness. You’re already forgiven. You’re forgiven when you were born, but that forgiveness is only received in HIM. That’s why he says, Come unto me, all of you who are labor and are heavy laden, and I’ll give you forgiveness. Is that what it says? No, it says, I’ll give you what? Me, me Jesus. And we ignore that, and we’ve gotten to the point we’ve ignored it so long that we accept it as okay theology, come to Jesus get your sins forgiven. I want to tell you, folks, that is not salvation. You cannot get salvation by coming to Jesus only for forgiveness. You come to Jesus to get life, and in that life you have, what redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Where did you get redeemed? By coming to Jesus for redemption? No, you came to Jesus. And when you came to Jesus, what did you get? Redemption. What else did you get? Forgiveness of sins. How did you get it? By going to the bank, and we’re sending people to the 711 and saying, you can get Jesus over there.

So folks, this is not a minor issue, nor was it a minor issue to the Apostle Paul. Do you believe this?”

And so he’s talking about the Hebrew and Gentile. Those he fore knew He also predestined. Who’s he talking about here? The gentile, the Hebrew, was predestined. We too have been predestined. Now, folks, this was an unthinkable thought. This book’s written to the Romans, basically Gentile Christians, who, many times were said you’re second rate because you’re Gentile. And then we got all cocky and said, Well, we got the gospel, and you’re ignoring him, so we’re better than you are. And he deals in that. We’ll deal that in the next chapters. He also predestined to be conformed the likeness of son, in order that he might be the first monk among many brothers, not just Jewish brothers, but Gentile brothers, many brothers, the whole group and those He predestined he also called. Who’s the also? The Gentiles and those he called, he also justified. Who did he also justify? The Gentiles. Are we together? Guys and those he justified, he also glorified. We’re not adding to what he did. We’re just saying the Hebrew was justified. You too also were justified. The Hebrew was called, you too are called. The Hebrew was been glorified. You too also are glorified. What shall we say in response to this?

Now, before we do that, let’s go back to the book of Ephesians. And I just want to prove this point to you. Go back to the book of Ephesians with me. Ephesians one, let’s start in chapter four, or chapter one, verse four, he chose us in him, before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless in his sight. Who did he choose? Anyone who came to Him by faith has been chosen to be holy and blameless in his sight. Remember the verse by that one offering He made forever perfect in the sight of God. Those whom he made holy, you’ve been made holy by the blood of Christ that was in his mind predestined before the foundation of the world, that all to would come to him would be made holy and blameless in his sight. In love, He predestined us to be adopted as his sons in accordance the pleasure of His will to the praise of His glorious grace which He has freely given us in the one he loves. In him we and basically here he’s addressing the Hebrews have redemption through the blood, the forgiveness of sins in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding, and he made known to us. Now, here again, he had to make known to the Hebrew this mystery. It’s called a musterion, a mystery, and I talked about Perry Mason. You’re talking about a mystery that was held in the heart of God, unknown to man, and was revealed to man when God chose to reveal it. That’s the mystery. So he made known to us, the Hebrews, this mystery of his will according to His good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ to be put into effect when the times have reached their fulfillment. And the purpose of this is to bring all things in heaven and earth together under one head, and that is Christ. The Hebrew head is Christ. The Gentiles head is Christ. Now in Him, we were also chosen. Who’s the also guys? The Gentiles, in Him, we Gentiles were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will. He’s just talking about here that I’m bringing both of you together and in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, who was that? Who? Where’d the gospel go first? Guys, to the Hebrew, the first to hope in Christ, the Jew might be for the praise of glory, and you also, who’s this? The gentile were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, having believed you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession to the praise of his glory. Now is that good news?

And so he goes ahead. Let’s go over to chapter two in verse 11, therefore John. It therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called the uncircumcised by those who call themselves the circumcision, remember at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel, foreigners to the covenants of promise, without hope, without God in the world. But now, but now, Who’s he talking to here? Hebrew or Gentile, Gentile, But now in Christ, Jesus, You who were once far away, who’s that? The Gentile have been brought near through the blood of Christ? For he himself is our peace. Who has made the two one. Who’s the two, the Hebrew and the Gentile into one. What? The ecclesia I’ve made you into a new man. If any man be in Christ, he’s what a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. He himself is our peace. Who has made the two one has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility. Now what’s the dividing wall of hostility? He’s going to tell us, by abolishing, in his flesh, the law with its commandments and regulations. What does he call the law with his commandments and regulations? a dividing wall of hostility, the Hebrews said, we got the law. Do you guys know that God never gave the Gentiles the law? We just went over and stole it. We just went over the Hebrew and said, Well, you didn’t do very well with it, Lord, but you just. To watch our smoke. You just watch us try to obey these laws because we’re lot better you are. He never gave it to us. He divided that wall of hostility. Now, why? How do you do that? By abolishing it. He nailed the law to the cross. He said, the law has been fulfilled. I fulfilled it. You can’t I did, and in so doing, his purpose. Why did he do that? His purpose was to create in himself, one new man out of the two, and making peace and in this one body, to reconcile both of them to God. See there guys, both of them, Hebrew and Gentile alike, reconcile. What’d it say? God was in Christ reconciling who? The whole world, both Hebrew and Gentile, unto Himself, not counting their sins against them, both of them to the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached to you who are far away, who’s that? The Gentiles and peace to you who are near. Who’s that? The Hebrew, for through him, we both Now, both of us, Hebrew and Gentile alike, have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently, Gentiles, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ, Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone. In him, the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord and in Him, you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit. Is this good news, guys? Chapter four, basically go with me just for a minute up to chapter three, and just in verse six. Now here’s the mystery. You see this is the mystery is that through the Gospel, the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body and sharers together in the promise of Jesus Christ.

One body, not a Hebrew body, and a Gentile body. Now that, to me, kind of annihilates all the Hebrew Christians getting together and getting a little Messianic Jew going and then the Gentiles getting together, and let’s not have any Jews over here. He said, You’re in one body. Come and worship together and let unity occur among your differences. Hebrew, I have canceled the law. Why are you still trying to keep it? I canceled your dietary laws. Peter said, everything is now clean. I canceled the 10 Commandments that you were under. I have canceled everything that you had and were holding on to for your salvation. It’s gone. And you come to Christ one way, and that’s by faith and Gentiles, you do identically the same thing. So he says to us that all of this was accomplished by this mystery.

Now, Ephesians chapter four, as a prisoner of the Lord, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you’ve received. You’ve received life, and I told you to go love one another. Now I want you to do so you’ve grown up Hebrew different than the Gentiles, but I want you to learn to love. Of each other. Be humble. Don’t be cocky. Don’t be talking about we are God’s people. All you got to do is somebody is telling that to say the heck you are. Be humble, gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love. What’s that mean? You’re going to have some trials and tribulation. Bear with one another. Hang in there. Hold on to truth. Make every effort to get the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. And that’s Jesus. Now look what it says here, guys, there’s one body. It’s not two. There’s not a Hebrew body and a Gentile body. There’s one Spirit. He didn’t give the spirit to the Hebrews and another spirit to the Gentiles, just as you were called to one hope when you were called. One Lord. Both have the same Lord, one faith. Both have the same faith. You don’t come to Christ differently. One baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. For you all, I guess I added that one.

Now, folks, let’s go back to Romans. Do you see, guys, how exciting this message is when it’s taught according to the scripture? Do you see how unifying it is to see how God, in His foreknowledge and purpose, went out and reached out to you and me, who are Gentiles, and reached out to the Hebrews. We have a girl down here. That’s Jew. I worked with Ed heck for some 30 years. Who’s Jew. I never think of him being a Jew. He doesn’t think of me being a Gentile. We’re children of God. We are child of the living God. I don’t care what your background is, you’re a child of God. And that makes us brothers and sisters in Christ.

And they’ve taken this thing and instead of understanding what salvation is, is life, and because we’ve concentrated on the fact that you can be saved by merely saying, oh, Jesus died for my sins. Praise God. Listen, who wants to go to hell? So if all I got to do say, Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins, and that’s all I need to do, I’ll do that, because there’s no commitment to life that way. I don’t want you living in me. I want to keep you on the cross, forgiving my sins. Folks, we have to understand how the Christian world has taken truth and watered it down, and you hear that Sunday after Sunday, watered it down, and we’ve reduced salvation to the cross instead of including the resurrection. Oh, we acknowledge, oh, I believe in death. Around resurrection of Christ, we say, What’s the meaning of the resurrection? I don’t know. What’s the meaning of the cross? Oh, that’s where my sins are taken away. What’s the meaning of the resurrection? Not sure. The meaning of the resurrection is he was raised from the dead so that that life that raised Him from the dead can raise you from the dead. I’ve told people, in case you haven’t figured out, you got a problem worse than sin. It’s called death. And the only solution to death is life, and the only life available to us is Jesus. Folks, the Christian message is not a religious message. It’s a practical message. You are born dead, and when you’re dead, brother, you need life, and if you don’t choose life, you’re going to remain dead. And when you choose life, you’re going to get eternal life. Life eternally. When does it begin? The minute you have the Son, there’s no one else that can give it to you.

All of these other things come out and so, so you like Buddha fine, so you like Mohammed, fine. Can he give you life? So you like Moses, dude. Can he give you life? So you like the Pope. Can he give you life? No, I like Luther, did he give you life? Can Calvin give you life? No one can give you life except Christ, Jesus. He’s the only one raised from the dead capable of giving you and me life, which is what salvation is about. And we sit and tolerate these things. We tolerate the commingling of law and grace in our churches. We tolerate emphasis on the cross and at the exclusion of the resurrection. Think nothing of it. As long as you got a good choir and you got to go to programs, that’s all that matters. Just keep me entertained. Keep my ears being tickled. I don’t need truth, It hurts. I just want some fluffy stuff. And it says that in the Scripture, in the last days, you won’t listen to truth. All you want is just fluffy stuff. Just give me an emotional experience. I don’t want a I don’t want any meaning to it. Just, just let me feel good, let me tingle. I’ll rub your back with a feather and get you tingling. Said, I want some something concrete for my life. I want something real. I want something I can hang on to. And that’s what he says, Jesus will do for you.

Well, he said, What shall we say in response to this, if we really grab a hold of these truths, what are we going to say? Here’s what you say, if God’s for us, who could be against us? Guys, we don’t have to fear man. We don’t have to walk around fearful that we’re not going to be popular. I’ve told people before. I decided a long time ago, I’m not running for sheriff, so I don’t care how popular I am among peers, and you shouldn’t either. You got situations. Paul is telling me about going to a few the brother in there, he’s anti they think he’s nuts. So what? I don’t fear them, do you? I don’t have to fear people. If God’s for you, then who could be against you? And that’s what he’s saying. Now, if this said God isn’t for you, you’d be in trouble. But if God’s for you, who can be against you? Look at that. He’s reached out to you. He didn’t spare his own Son, but gave him up for all of us. So will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things who will bring a charge against those who God has chosen. Who’s going to bring a charge against the Gentiles, a charge against the Hebrew? Is it God who justifies? Who is he that condemns? Christ, Jesus, who died more than that, who was raised to life, see, more than that, was raised to life, is at the right hand of God, it is also interceding for us. So we talked about last time, sometimes we don’t even know what to pray for. Said, don’t worry about it. God will intercede for you, Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Guys, isn’t that a question? Can anything separate you from the love of God? Shall trouble? How many of you have ever been in trouble? How many of you have ever been in trouble? Let’s see some honest. There we go. That’s a little bitter. Did that separate you from the love of God? Did you ever think it did? Yeah, we do remember what it says that we at one time we thought that God was we were separated because of our evil behavior, but now God has reconciled us through physical death. You see, many times, didn’t we not heard every time you sinned, God turns his back on you. Have you ever heard that one? I mean, seriously, how many of you have heard that one, that every time you sin, brother, and so you got God on us, on a on a chair, and see old Jim sins. And I just said, Then he then he then he confesses, and I come back again, and then there he goes again. And oh yeah, God, God, twirl around up there, getting dizzy. And that’s what you’ve been taught. Is that true? No, why? Your sins been placed behind the back of God never to see him again. He didn’t twirling around, around the chair.

Nothing can separate you from the love of God. He says that trouble can’t, hardship can’t. How many have ever been through hardships? We have. Did that separate you? No folks listen, if God will cause it to work together for good, the way he will cause it to work together for good is when you’re going through trouble and hardships. It draws you closer to Jesus. Now it can also draw you away from there, if your faith isn’t in right place, if you think God’s punishing me, how many of you ever gone through trial and tribulation? Oh, God’s getting me for that? Is that true? Now, how could he be getting you for when he’s put it behind his back and died and paid for that? How could he be getting you? Didn’t we just read there’s now what? No condemnation awaiting those who belong to Christ, Jesus. What does that mean? There’s no condemnation awaiting those who belong to Christ, Jesus. What’s that say in the Greek, there’s no condemnation awaiting those who belong to Christ, Jesus. Now, when are we going to get that through our minds? God is not punishing you. If he did, you would live in total punishment. And if a person thinks, Well, the reason I don’t get pun. This was because I’m so good, you’re really deceived. Because Jesus said every day by good, when he called him good, he said, Will you call me good for only God’s good. So if you don’t want to call me God, don’t call me good because only God’s good. That tells something about me. I’m not, how about you?

Shall hardship, Who shall separate from the love of Christ? Shall trouble, hardship or persecution. Now folks, this is what he’s saying, if God’s for you, who can be against you, if you’re going to go into the marketplace of life and be available to be a body through whom Christ can live his life, to be a branch. Are you going to have persecution? Well, sure are. Why? Because the world doesn’t like Jesus. We can like him up to a point, just don’t let me get very close to him. Don’t let him meddle in my life. We don’t like Jesus. Look what happened to this film and came out by Mel Gibson. Why people are rubbing arms over this? Why? Because it tells the truth. It tells the truth, and people don’t like the truth. So if you’re going to be a truth teller, guys, do you know what separates you from the world? You talk about sanctified. We are set apart. You know what sets you apart? It is certainly in the way you dress and in the way you wear your hair, or whether you have a bun on the top of your head, or your dress up to here talking about the top of it, or whatever else you’re dealing with that is not how you separate yourself. You know what separates you from the world? By what you believe you are separated from the world because you believe in Jesus. And your belief in Jesus separates you from the entire Lost World, and it even separates you from the religious world.

Jesus Came to Save Sinners

Listen to the Salvation message today!

Stand on the firmness of truth. Don’t keep going back and forth. Thank Him that the forgiveness issue is settled.

Let’s pray together:

  • Lord Jesus,
  • I thank you for taking away my sins on the cross,
  • never ever to see them again.
  • Having done that, I now thank you for giving me eternal life,
  • through your resurrection.
  • I now receive that life.
  • And I am going stand in the fact that I am a child of the living God.
  • In Jesus Holy name I pray.
  • Amen

All believers are now brothers and sisters in Christ.
