Classic Christianity – The Message of Christ – 8-03-26

The Manufactured Illusion and the True Message of Christ

1. Professing Christ vs. Living in Saving Faith

Many people today speak fondly of Jesus, professing love for Him with their lips while remaining completely alienated from the actual Gospel: that Jesus Christ is God incarnate who took away the sins of the world. Hearing the message without applying genuine Faith leaves individuals trapped under religious pretense—spiritually dead, without the indwelling Holy Spirit, and incapable of perceiving the grand illusions of this world.

  • John 1:1, 14“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
  • John 1:29“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!'”
  • Matthew 15:8“‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.'”
  • Hebrews 4:2“For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.”
  • Romans 8:9“But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”
  • Romans 12:2“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

2. The Little Season of Great Deception and Modern Idolatry

We are living in a designated era of profound spiritual delusion—a short season of deception where satan is loosed to deceive the entire world. The ancient worship of carved stone has evolved into modern, screen-driven idolatry. The world bows to television stars, actors, musicians, politicians, sports figures, and celebrity pastors. The issue goes far deeper than false teaching alone; the very nature of what is being shown, broadcasted, and promoted is a manufactured lie designed to deceive the nations.

  • Revelation 20:7–8“Now when the thousand years have expired, satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.”
  • Revelation 12:9“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the devil and satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
  • 1 John 5:19“We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”
  • Isaiah 5:20“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
  • Romans 1:25“…who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”
  • 2 Timothy 4:3–4“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”

3. Exposing the Illusion Through the Holy Spirit

During this season of deception, satan uses media, news, advertising, and institutional narratives to tune human minds to worldly lies from birth. Previous generations passed down these traditions out of ignorance, but today we remain equally blind if we accept the world’s programming at face value. Breaking free from this global illusion requires looking past the screen and returning directly to the Source of ALL Truth: the Holy Spirit living within the true believer.

  • 2 Corinthians 4:4“…whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
  • Colossians 2:8“Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.”
  • 1 John 2:15–16“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.”
  • John 16:13“‘However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.'”
  • James 1:5“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

Most people today refuse to actually place Faith in the message of Christ Jesus. Oh, they like talking about Jesus. They even say how much they love Jesus, but they don’t have a clue about Jesus as God in the flesh who took away the sins of the world. And we were all caught under the lies of religion to begin with. For some though, who hear the message of Truth, it goes in one ear and out the other. They refuse to apply Faith to the equation. And so, they go about life thinking they are saved, when the reality of the situation is they do NOT have the Spirit of God living in them for Life. Their minds are not being renewed, and they fail to see even the basic deceptions of the world, let alone the bigger ones that are hidden in plain sight.

We live in a time of great deception, where we have exchanged the Truth of God for a lie. Bob speaks of idol worship from the past where they were involved in building idols out of stone, yet we too have our own idols we worship. We worship Tell-a-Vision stars, movie stars, singers, actors, political figures, sports and even maga pastors that preach known lies. Most refuse to come to the knowledge of Truth and promote these liars of the True gospel message of Christ Jesus, and instead focus on what they think is simply modern day prophecy and refuse to look at what the foundation of these pastors teach. This season of short deception is a period of time where we all have been fed the lies of satan since the day we were born. Nothing is as it seems today. Yet people love watching their nightly news reporting, and get all hung up for what is going on in the world, as though they believe everything being fed to them on the tube. We are brainwashed by everything around us. The commercials that are shown are lies.of the world too. Satan really knows how to stroke the flesh. And yet most never ever think about how their minds are being tuned to the things of the world.

Folks, we know more now than we knew of days gone by. Our Fathers had no clue what was going on. We simply followed suit based on what they taught us. They were ignorant of the lies that were taking place right in front of them, and we too are ignornant as a people in general of the lies satan is feeding us. It’s only when we go back to the Source for ALL TRUTH, the Holy Spirit Himself, if He lives in you will show you all TRUTH. Ask Him for Wisdom and understanding today; for we all need it.

And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, having done what, will I inherit eternal life?”
And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good, except God alone. Luke 18:18,19

Jesus is God in flesh: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

Pray to God:

Do you really want to know the WHOLE Truth of what is going on today?

Lord Jesus, teach me the truth of the world today and give me the wisdom to know the truth and identify the lies of the devil. Thank you God.”

~ Bob George discusses the central themes of the Book of Romans, emphasizing the distinction between HEBREWS and Gentiles and the concept of the ecclesia, or the new group of believers. He highlights Paul’s message of grace and faith, stressing that obedience comes from faith, not vice versa. Bob explains that the gospel is the power of God for salvation, accessible to both HEBREWS and Gentiles. He critiques self-righteousness and the suppression of truth, arguing that true peace and rest can only be found in Jesus. The discussion underscores the importance of understanding and embracing God’s righteousness over self-righteousness.

“You can either trust Jesus to renew your mind, or you can trust the world to alter your mind. But you’re going to have to make up your mind which one you’re going to go to, and we have an awful lot of people who have chosen the other many times innocently, because unfortunately many times when somebody tells us who has a white coat on that something is truth, we automatically believe that, and that person may know what they’re talking about, and that person may not. Just like a person in a black robe may know what he’s talking about, may not, and folks, the only way that you’re going to know whether something is truth or not is to go to a source, and this book is our source of truth. And what we have done is substitute everything under the sun, and we think, oh, if I could just do something to look better, I’d be happy. And so we have an entire industry that is made around that, trying to make everybody look better, I got news for it. We don’t look better. We just think we do. Be better off going out and buying a false face. We just think we look better. We’re deceived. We’re deceived by someone coming and saying you can reverse a process. Folks this whole world is full of deception. Do we understand that? We are so subject to being deceived. Satan is there to deceive us. He is an expert at us. He keeps conning us into thinking this is going to do it. If you just hit that big deal, boy, if I just make a million bucks, the minute you hit a million, you’re going to be shooting for 2 million, and the minute you hit 2 million, you’re going to be shooting for four. Is that true or not, folks? Because the flesh is insatiable; it never gets enough. It never gets enough. And so we live in a world of deception. And folks, the only way that we’re ever going to keep from being deceived is to have our face in this book, and our minds in this book, and our Spirit of God that lives in us, if we’re truly born again, saying, “Lord Jesus, reveal the meaning of this to me, so that I can have a policy in my life that is as strong as horseradish. I want to be able to have. I want to know what I know. What I know, I want to be able to be strong. And you talk about power to have power to know I know what I know, and what I know is that my Lord Jesus Christ gives me peace. But I know that when I deny that, I’m a mess. And I have a choice every single day of my life to rely upon Him or to rely upon something else. And I, Bob George, choose something else just as much as you do, because I can get deceived just like you can. But it’s a marvelous thing that when you’re deceived, there’s something inside of you saying something’s wrong. Have you ever noticed that? Not about me, but about you. I’m talking about something’s wrong. Isn’t that marvelous to know that, folks? You’ve got someone living inside of you that tells you you’re on the wrong path, and we can all make mistakes, and we do all make mistakes, but thank God, there’s that little voice that tells us that, shows us that, and enables us to get back on the right track again. But folks, we have to understand we live in a day of deception, and we live and we’re bombarded from one end to the other by the world With deception, and if we don’t follow him, we’re going to end up deceived.” ~ Bob George

Bob George 0:28
I don’t think there’s ever been a history of a an actual total change of a person’s heart apart from the Book of Romans. You have the Gospels that talk about the life of Christ, and you talk the book of Romans. It talks about the message of Christ, and if you grab a hold of what is in the book of Romans, you will have a hold of what is in the Bible, because really Paul in the book of Romans is a synopsis of the entirety of the New Covenant in which we live in.

Now, as we begin, I want to re-emphasize again: we have studied in the Book of Ephesians the subject of predestination and election, and that subject that has been so bantered around in the Christian community and so misrepresented as to its meaning. But as we talked about that, the meaning of predestination, an election, foreknowledge-all of those things have nothing to do with the yous and me’s. It has everything to do with the HEBREWS and the Gentiles. And once again, in the book of Romans, you’re going to see the emphasis on the part of the apostle Paul in regard to the HEBREW and the Gentile, and yet God chose to make the two into one, to us that is a different thing for us today. We almost have a reversal of what that truth is because in those days the gospel went first where? to the HEBREW, and the HEBREW was the group of people that represented the one true God on the face of this earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It was the HEBREW, the Gentile. That’s us, most of us in this room. We could guess, and so the thought to a HEBREW that the Gentile would come to a knowledge of the same God that they have claimed to know was an unthinkable thing, whether in Israel or whether in Rome was the same difficulty. Today we kind of feel like we’ve kind of got it. It’s the HEBREWS who need it. Back then the HEBREW had it and the Gentiles needed it. So we’ve kind of got a reversal of things. But the Scripture is so good in order to be able to show to this very day this contrast between the HEBREW and the Gentile, and we’re going to see that as we study the book of Romans, a great amplification of hopefully what we’ve learned out of the book of Ephesians in regard to this important subject-that in the world there’s only two categories of people, HEBEREW and Gentile-and then the third category is Christian, born again people made up of both HEBREW and Gentile, called the ecclesia. So, from God’s vantage point, three types of people: HEBREW, Gentile, ecclesia. I was talking to a J_____ fellow the other day that I met, and what I’m doing anymore is almost immediately into the conversation because they know what line of work I’m in, and so they know I’m a Christian, and immediately I explain to them that the average J___ believes that the opposite of a J__ is a Christian, but that’s not true. The opposite of a J__ is a Gentile. I was talking to this guy at the table the other day. They said I didn’t know that, and the majority of J_____ people do not know that. Most Gentiles don’t realize it either. That the opposite of a Gentile is a J__, and so we have to understand that truth that from God’s economy He separated the world in two groups of people, the HEBREW and the Gentile, and then out of those two groups made one brand new group called the Ecclesia, or we call it church, but today that meaning that word has no meaning to it at all because it represents nothing anymore, any more than the world Christian represents anything anymore, because it’s all over the place today. So I just assume use the word ecclesia because no one knows what that means, and you can explain it.

Okay, now let’s start again at the beginning of the book. Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, and set apart for the gospel of God, the gospel He promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy scriptures, regarding his son, who, as to his human nature, was a descendant of David. We talked about that how he came through the bloodline of David in his physical human nature, and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead, proof of his identity. Jesus Christ our Lord, Through him and for his name’s sake, we received grace and apostle. To call people from among all the Gentiles. Now you see again, what is he emphasizing here? That we have been called as an apostle to call all people from among the Gentiles. Folks, we glance over words. God so loved what? The world. Who was the world? The HEBREW and the Gentile, and that’s what he’s trying to get across that we were called out. The Gentiles were called out from among all of the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. And again, we talked about that last week. Obedience comes from faith. Faith doesn’t come from obedience. And you are also among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ, saying to the Romans that he’s reaching, you also were among this group. To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints, not sinners saved by grace, but saints created in the image of good works. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ.

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world. God, whom I serve with all my heart in preaching the gospel of His Son, is my witness how I constantly remember you in my prayers at all times, and I pray that now at last, by God’s will, the way may be open for me to come to you. I long to see you, so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong. That is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I plan many times to come to you, but have been prevented to doing so until now, in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles.

Isn’t it nice to know that Paul made plans that didn’t come through? Yeah, that’s encouraging, isn’t it? Now, he said, “I want to have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other what? Gentiles. I am obliged to both Greeks and non-Greeks. Who’s the Greeks? Gentiles. Who’s the non-Greeks? HEBREWS. Both to the wise and to the foolish. And that’s why I’m so eager to preach the gospel also to you, who are at Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation of who? everyone who believes, first the HEBREW, then the Gentile. Folks, is there any doubt what Paul is trying to get across here? For in this gospel that went both to the HEBREW and to the Gentile, a gospel of righteousness. If you have your Bibles underlined, from from God. It’s not a righteousness of you to God, but it’s a righteousness that comes from God is revealed. A righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written, the righteous will live by faith.

Now, folks, this is the theme and the key to the whole book of Romans. So, if you had a key verse for the whole book of Romans, this is it in Hebrews one, or excuse me, Romans 1:16, and in 17. I’m not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes. Now, folks, again, the Roman Empire was the most powerful empire on the face of the earth, and they lived for power. And I think that’s one of the reasons that you see Paul using that word “power” a lot in the book of Romans is because they loved that word, but he wanted them to show what power really is. And power is not being big and strong. Power is God. That’s why it says in the book of Ephesians that I pray that out of His glorious riches that you may be strengthened with power in your inner being, so that Christ may be at home in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being strengthened by this power, may have the power of God to grasp how long and high and wide and deep is the love of God, and to know that love that surpasses knowledge, that you might be filled to the measure with all of the fullness of God. Power was to know something. It takes the power of God for you and me to comprehend something. Why? The enemy is very strong to snatch the seed away, is he not? And so he’s talking to us. I’m not ashamed of this gospel. It is the power of God for salvation, and in that salvation, there’s a righteousness from God. And folks, there’s not one person on the face of the earth that could ever be declared righteous in and of themselves. None of us are righteous. We just act that way, and that’s where that self-righteousness comes in. That’s called religion. That annihilates anybody from ever coming to grips with the good news of Christ Jesus, because there’s only two kinds of righteousness: God’s righteousness and self-righteousness. He hates self-righteousness. That’s why we have no ability at all to be pointing fingers at people because we got the ours coming right back at us. We have no right to be judging people. Jesus. Said I didn’t come to judge the world, so if I’m in Christ, what am I doing judging it? We don’t have any right to be saying that person is worse than we are, and what he did is to reduce the entire world to one condition, dead and lost. And so the issue isn’t how bad you are or how good you are. The issue is is how dead you are, because we’re all born into this world dead and in need of life, so nobody can claim to be righteous except for the righteousness that’s been given to us in Christ. So that’s his gospel.

Now, what we’re going to do is to talk first about this gospel and the condition of the Gentile, and then we’ll pick up in the third chapter the condition of the HEBREW. So once again, we’re going to be dealing with HEBREW and Gentile in these passages of Scripture. So beginning in verse 18, the wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who do what? Suppress the truth. So what is the core of all evil? The suppressing of truth. If truth sets you free, what is it that puts you in bondage? Error. They suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. You know, we’re constantly asking, “What about the people don’t hear? What about the people don’t hear? And all of that kind of nonsense. God says the Bible says I’ve revealed everything you need to know that there’s a God. Surely you don’t think that tree planted in your backyard was made by man. A child knows the difference between that. You could say who made that house, kid. Say Daddy. Who made the wood? God. We know the difference. You can see it. Nobody’s confused in that regard. We just deny the truth. We suppress the truth. We say, “I don’t want to believe in God because my pride and ego wants to believe in me and what I make instead of Him and what He made. And so He’s saying, “All men are without excuse. There is no one who can stand before God saying, “I didn’t know you were there. That’s ridiculous. Of course, you knew I was there. Who do you think made this universe? Why do you think the the waves of the ocean just come up to a certain point and go back? I often wonder why don’t they go all over. And so we’ve got enough evidence. Each and every one of us born into this world have enough evidence to know there’s a God, and so when we deny that there’s a God, all we’re doing is suppressing the truth by our own what? Wickedness. Just what the Scripture says. It’s not that we were potty trained too early. It wasn’t that we had a mother. It wasn’t that we have a syndrome. It’s the fact that we suppress truth by our own wicked desires, and the Bible tells us that. Our hearts are wicked and deceitful above all things. Who can know them? And so we realize that all the evidence that you and I ever need and have ever needed in our lives to know there was a God has been presented to us in nature alone. But I don’t know what God’s like looking at a tree. I know he’s creative, and when I look at some of the animals he’s made, I know he’s really creative. And when he, I look at some of us that he’s created, I know that he’s quite creative. But I don’t know what God’s like. I don’t know is he loving, is he kind, is he forgiving. I can’t know that through looking at a tree. I can know there’s a God, but I don’t know what he’s like.

Bob George 14:20
So it says, for although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him. In other words, there’s no appreciation for what He’s done. But their thinking became futile, and their foolish hearts were darkened. So first of all, when we live in that kind of a denial, he says our hearts get darkened, and he calls them foolish. A man says is a fool. God says that says that there is no God. So, although they claim to be wise, they became fools. Now, once again, not only speaking to Rome, but the same would be applicable to today because we love to think we’re intellectuals, but the issue is, he says that your intellect is but foolishness to me, and instead of becoming, it says that that that we we became fools in our hearts. We claimed that we were wise, but we became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Now, folks, what are those? What’s he talking about there? The making of what? Idols. Now, in the Greek world and in the Roman world, did they make idols? Sure, sure, and and some of those things you can go back to Greece and go to the Parthenon and places like this, and you see where all these huge statues were made, and they made them some in the in the forms of man. We still do that today. People, some of, still do that today, and in reptiles and animals and all those type of things. Now, folks, does that mean that if you go into the store and there’s a little thing there of a frog that you shouldn’t buy that because, or that you shouldn’t buy a picture of the bird on it? Does that mean that? You know, you’d have some people say that, think that. I’m surprised I haven’t had a call on radio on that one yet. But no, these what he’s talking about here, these are objects of worship. It’s it’s the very same thing that I told you about little Joshua that I met from Biaphra, and and who the as a brand new Christian that question comes up: What about the heathen in Africa? You know how they going to get saved? And I couldn’t wait to get that question answered because I was a new Christian. I didn’t know for sure what the answer was, and one day I was sitting at a seminar right next to Joshua, Biaphra, little bitty guy, and I asked him, couldn’t wait for the break. Joshua, what about the heathen in Africa? And Joshua proceeded to explain to me. He said, Bob, he said, you know, when I was a little boy, we used to carve these images out of these trees, and we’d put them in our hut, and we’d sit around and worship those little images. And he said, as a little boy, I sat there saying to myself, “That ain’t God, you know. Dad made that one, and so what I want to know is who made the tree. And he said, “No one else was thinking that. Everybody else was just engrossed with that idol. But he said, “I want to know who made the tree. And he said, “So I used to stand outside in my little village and kind of on a little cliff, and I would look up to the sky and say, ‘Lord, I want to know who made the tree. God, there’s somebody up there made this place, and I want to know you. I want to know who made the trees. I know who made the image. I want to know who made the tree, and he said, “Well, I was sitting there wanting with all of my heart to know God. There was a missionary in New York that was sent to my village to tell me about Jesus, putting in his heart to come to my village, as God was putting in my heart the desire to know Him. And he said, “The very first person that he met when he walked into that village was me. And he said, “The very first thing I asked him is, ‘You know anything about God?

And he led me to Jesus, and then I went and led my family to Jesus, and then we went and led the whole village to Jesus. So he said, ‘Now I’m over here in Los Angeles trying to save the heathen in California. Now that showed me the answer to that question. Any, the Bible tells us, anyone who sincerely wants to know God, I know that He’s there. The issue is, do you want to know Him? You got to be a fool to claim that He’s not there, but you can claim that He’s there. But I don’t have any desire to know Him. I’m either indifferent to it, or I’m in rebellion to it, but I do know he’s there, and it says that anyone who sincerely wants to know Him, not just know about him, know him. He said, “I’ll get the message of Jesus to him, and that proved it to me in that remote little village of Joshua, a little boy wanting to know Jesus. He didn’t know he wanted to know Jesus. Thought he wanted to know God, and God led him to reveal Himself to him.

So he says that this is what happens to us: we claim to be wise, we became fools, and exchanged the glory of an immortal God for images to look like mortal man, birds, animals, and reptiles. Think about that, folks. Of thinking that this big, huge 30-foot statue of Diana there in the Parthenon came down from the sky. Where’d it come from? Oh, came right down from the sky, 30-footer. Been living this day, we had him on a basketball team. But seriously, think about that. How could you believe that? I mean, think of the things that we believe in religious circles today that make no sense at all. Like I say, you can tell people the good news of the gospel, and they say, “Too good to be true. That’s just too good to be true. Tell. That I got a hanky. It’s been dipped in the Jordan, and all you got to do is put it under your pillar, and all your prayers are answered, and they say, “Lead me to the hanky. We’ll believe anything except the truth. Love to get a hold of just junk stuff, but when you tell someone the pure truth, it’s too good to be true. That’s how we are, folks. We have to recognize that, and so he’s saying to us that we became fools.

Therefore, now here’s what happens when we deny God. God gave them over in their sinful desires of their hearts. In these sinful desires of their hearts, where do our sinful desires come from? Our hearts, to sexual impurity, for the degrading of their bodies with one another, they exchange the truth of God for a lie. Folks, there’s your key. Mark it. Exchange the truth of God for a what? A lie. Do we do that today? Do we? Oh sure. Jesus says, “Come unto me, all ye who labor and are heavy laden, and I’ll give you what? Peace and rest. What’s the world say? Come unto Prozac, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I’ll give you rest. And I want to know which one are you going to believe? Is Eli Lilly our God, or is Jesus our God? Because both claim to give you peace, don’t they, and rest? Now I want to tell you, folks, we could be sitting at people sitting in this very room who are depending on something else besides Jesus, let alone out in the world. The liquor company says, “Come unto me, I’ll give you some rest. Yeah, you pass out. The drug industry says, “Come unto me, I’ll give you rest. The entertainment industry says, “Come, let me entertain you. I’ll give you rest. Everyone is screaming, isn’t it? Claiming to give you rest and peace, and Jesus says, “I’ll give you peace. It will not be the peace that the world gives you. Give I you. I give you a peace that lasts forever. If I could get some peace by getting snackered, it ain’t gonna last long, because I’m going to have to wake up the next day. All of those other offers of peace are temporary, folks. They only last until it wears off.

You can either trust Jesus to renew your mind, or you can trust the world to alter your mind. But folks, we have to understand we live in a day of deception, and we live and we’re bombarded from one end to the other by the world With deception, and if we don’t follow him, we’re going to end up deceived.

Now let’s go ahead. They exchange the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator, who is forever praised. Amen. So what do we do? Serve the things that are created rather than the Creator. Now, because of this, whenever you start and I start serving created things rather than the Creator, here’s the byproduct: God gave them over to shameful lust. He says you want to deny truth? You want to look at yourself as a man and say, “No, I’m a woman. Is that what you want to do? You want to say, “Yes, I’m a woman, but I don’t like men. Yes, I’m a man, but I don’t like women. You want to live in that kind of denial? Fine. Now that’s what it means what God says. I just turn it over. If that’s what you want to insist on doing, you have at it.
