Classic Christianity – False Teachers of The Day – Part 3 – 10-01-25

False Teachers of The Day – Part 3 – 10-01-25

~ But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to understand them, because spiritually they are discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14

~ Most have no clue what the word of God means. Oh, there are many many folks that can repeat the words of God back to you, but they don’t have a clue what the WORD means. And don’t forget, the Pharsises knew what the word of God said, but when the Word of God showed up in person, and began to teach them the meaning of the things they had studied, and because it didn’t match up to their understanding, they had Jesus put to death. And satan and the demons know the word of God too. Satan knows how to twist the meaning inside and out. Today it is no different than back then. There are many professors of Jesus, but very few possessors of Jesus. They are Christians in name only and they are dead as a hammer. They do not have the Spirit of God living in them. They are blind guides, leading the blind off the edge of a cliff. They sound all super smooth on their talking, yet those with the Spirit of God know in their hearts that these are false teachers, but most have no clue. They blindly follow whatever the world says a Christian is, and because most parrot the same talking points today, they never check out for themselves whether these spirits are of God or not. They never test the spirits, and have no clue what that even means. Because most are actually following the teachings of demons, instead of The Holy Spirit Himself.

So today, we need to trust in the Holy Spirit to show us ALL Truth. Because we have been taught a whole bunch of lies, that even we did not know of five or ten years ago. We are in an age of deception, where everything we have been taught about the world we live in is a lie. And the religous world is no better, because it was infiltrated by deceivers at the very top, to teach lies in seminaries, which then get passed on down the line. And because we were also deceived, we passed on the lies to our children too, without even realizing it. We had no clue.

So today, when you hear the voice of the Lord, do not harden your hearts to hearing Truth. And learn to identify TRUTH. Ask for Wisdom from God to know TRUTH, and identity satan’s lies. Because the Holy Spirit has much much to teach everyone of us today. And there are many lies that most are not even aware of TODAY:

HEBREWS 3:7-11

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:

“Today, if you hear His voice,
do not harden your hearts,
as you did in the rebellion,
in the day of testing in the wilderness,
where your fathers tested and tried Me,
and for forty years saw My works.

Therefore I was angry with that generation,
and I said,
‘Their hearts are always going astray,
and they have not known My ways.’

So I swore on oath in My anger,
‘They shall never enter My rest.’”

~ “Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.” 2 Corithians 11:15

…..

And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, having done what, will I inherit eternal life?”
And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good, except God alone. Luke 18:18,19

~ “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12

~ Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one believing in Me, even if he should die, he will live. And everyone living and believing in Me shall never die, to the age. Do you believe this?” John 11:25,26

Pray to God:

Do you really want to know the WHOLE Truth of what is going on today?

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

Lord Jesus, teach me the truth of the world today and give me the wisdom to know the truth and identify the lies of the devil. Thank you God.”

~ “And the other thing we know about the fact that when we don’t have the Spirit of God living in us is you cannot understand spiritual things. That’s why people don’t read the Bible. Is because, until you’re saved, you cannot understand the Bible. Natural man cannot understand spiritual things. It’s foolish to him. And how many of you, when you were lost, picked up the Bible and tried to read it, and you kind of got to the begets and the begats, and you were be gone? You say, I don’t, I don’t understand this thing at all. And you close it and kind of make an icon out of it. And then you get saved, and you pick up the Bible and say, who rewrote this thing? Because now you can understand it. Why do you understand it? Because the Spirit of God lives in you. That’s one way to know whether you’re saved or not. Can you understand the Scripture? Because if you’re saved, the Spirit of God is there to interpret it for you.” ~ Bob George

Understanding What The Bible Means

Bob George 0:27

Well, we’ll ask you a question, can you go out as a if you were truly born again? Can you go out and do anything you want to do, and the grace of God covers it? Is that true? Is that a motivation for going and doing anything you want to do? Why? Because it says that anything you give into is going to dominate you, it’s going to control you, it’s going to be your master. Who do you want to be mastered by God or your sin? And so these are godless men who teach, in essence, that the grace of our Lord is a license for immortality, and deny Christ as our sovereign and our Lord. These were men of the Gnostic persuasion, and we just have variations of that, who believe that what we do in the flesh is irrelevant because flesh is matter and matter is evil, and therefore with Jesus, he couldn’t have come in the flesh, because Jesus couldn’t be evil. So he was a phantom. He was an illusion. That’s what the Gnostics taught. But you see, we don’t teach that, but we do do variations of that, and so it doesn’t make any difference what we do in the flesh. Grace covers it. And so go live it up. Well, you see in the scriptures, it says, If Jesus isn’t real in his resurrection, then eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we may die. That’s the mindset you would have if you didn’t believe in Jesus. But when you believe in Jesus and you have Christ living in you as your Lord and Savior, to think that that’s a license for immorality is other nonsense, isn’t it? But that’s what was being taught back in those days, and even to this day.

Though you already know this, I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not continue to believe. Remember they were in the desert for 40 years, wandered in that desert, the angels who did not keep their position of authority, but abandoned their own home. These he has kept in darkness, bound. Bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great day. In other words, the angels that fell and came to this earth, he says he’s kept them in darkness, bound with everlasting change for judgment on the great day. So God sees sin and God judges sin, but who took the judgment for our sin? And where was our sin judged? At the cross, and what was the verdict? Guilty, and who took the punishment? Jesus. How much of it did he take? All of it? How much is left for us? None of it.

In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and to perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. In other words, God says that if you’re saved, those things should not be a part of your lifestyle. If you’re not saved, it is a part of your lifestyle. It’s a part of it. If you are saved, it shouldn’t be a part of it. In the very same way these dreamers pollute their own bodies. We see that taking place today of people polluting their own bodies. We’re not satisfied with the way it looks. We’ve got to add to it. We pollute our bodies. Reject authority and slander celestial beings.

How many have heard where we go down and you hear people coming and say, I command you, Satan? Is that right? I just, I know how to take care of Satan. Just chest puffed out, just just like a peacock, just a cocky walking around, and I got the ability to just cast him out. Well, what it says here about that even the Archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare bring a slanderous accusation against him. But he said, The Lord rebuke you. How many of us hear the Lord rebuke you? Or do we rebuke him? So again? Does Satan ever attack you? Does he I mean, is he kind of alive and well? I think so. And he attacks you like crazy. Now if you want the attack to start or to stop, are you a match for Satan? Am I a match for Satan? You’ve got to be kidding. But God is. So what should our verbiage and attitude be the Lord. Rebuke you. Why? Because I belong to the Lord, and I am a child of the living God, and the Lord whom I worship, rebuke you. Now you might get some action, but if you think we’re going to go up against Satan. We got another thing coming. Don’t we? We’re no match for him. The Lord rebuke you. And yet it says these men speak abusively against what they do not understand. They just do not understand the fact that Satan is stronger than all of us, and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals, these are the very things that destroy them.

Guys. Isn’t it strange when you stop to think of life, I don’t know about you, but the older that I get, the sadder life becomes you think to yourself, with all of the things that we have available to us, that God has given us, everything we need, for life and for godliness, God provides for us everything that we see he’s provided. Why did he make chickens? So we can have eggs. Everything is provided for us, and we have everything that we need, for life and for godliness. And for some reason, there’s something in this thing called the old flesh, the sin nature that lives in us, where we want to go out and destroy ourselves. We carve up our bodies, we stick things in them. We want to get into booze and get drunk, get into drugs and get bombed out of her mind. You say, what’s wrong with this? What is there in men, especially we are really dodos. I mean, you stop to think you see these guys flipping around on motorcycles and doing all this stuff, and you don’t see women doing that. Oh, maybe a few, but not many. But for some reason, we guys, of course, this is where the sin comes from. Is from us. If it came from women, Mary would have passed on us onto me. They all come from us. And I mean, I stop to think about that, what is in us where we want to destroy each other and destroy ourselves intentionally? I say, I don’t know, it’s a mystery, isn’t it? But he says that we we don’t understand things, the things that we’re just like dumb animals.

Now, Woe to them. He said. They have taken the way of Cain and they’ve rushed for profit into Balaam’s error. They have been destroyed in Korahs rebellion, and these men are blemishes at your love feast, eating with you without slightest qualms, shepherds who feed only themselves, clouds without rain, blown among by the wind, autumn, trees without fruit and uprooted twice Dead.

Turn with me for a moment back to First Corinthians and guys we have, we have the Lord’s Supper. But just going to, going to go over again what was taking place in Corinth, that ties in to these people coming into our assemblies. Men are blemishes at your love feast, eating without you, without the slightest qualm. Now let’s see what’s taking place in the Lord’s Supper in Corinth, because they had crept into the assemblies by then. The following directives, he says, I have no praise for you for your meetings. I’m sorry. I’m in chapter 11, and beginning in verse 17, I’m sorry I forgot to give that to you. In the following directives, I have no praise for you for your meetings do more harm than to do good in the first place. I hear that when you come together as a church, there are divisions among you, and to some extent, I believe it, no doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of which of you have God’s approval. When you come together, is it not the Lord’s Supper you eat? For as you eat, each one goes ahead without waiting on anybody else. Don’t you have homes to eat and drink in it says one remains hungry and another gets drunk. Kind of annihilates the idea of grape juice, doesn’t it? Be not drunk on grape juice, wherein is excess? One remains hungry, another gets drunk. Don’t you have homes to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the Church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say? Shall I praise you for this? Certainly not. Well that’s what was taking place in Jude that we’re talking about, these men are blemishes at your love feast. They’re not coming in to be involved in the big picture of the love feast. They were coming in to gorge themselves on food and to drink up all the wine before the rest of the body got there. And that was the that was the sin of Corinth. And so he says, they do that without even the slightest qualm at all. Think nothing of that.

Now it says verse 27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, and that is precisely what they were doing. And what was the unworthy manner in which they were taking the Lord’s Supper, eating up all the food, drinking up all the wine before the rest of the body got there, missing the picture. They’re guilty of sinning against the body of Christ and the blood of the Lord. Now, again, if you came in for the Lord’s Supper, and this group over here got here before this group did, and you came in and everything was gone, and all the food had been consumed, and all the wine had been consumed, and they were sitting over here fat, dumb and happy, and you’re sinning against the body of Christ, aren’t you? In other words, you’re not considering the body of Christ. You’ve just moved in and said, I’m going to get all that I can. And who cares about the rest of them? And so he’s saying to them that you’re doing that in an unworthy manner. So he says, A man ought to examine himself before he eats the bread and drinks the cup, examine himself. What? Dim the lights, play the organ, get into introspection, ask God to forgive your sins, be sure you don’t have any unconfessed sin in your life? Is that what that means? No, it means to examine yourself. Did I come in here and eat up all the bread and drink up all the wine before the rest of the body got here. Am I being a glutton? Am I looking out for the body, or am I just looking out for me? That’s what it means to examine yourself for anyone who and it tells us for anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord. Eats and drinks, eats and drinks, judgment on himself, judgment from WHO? From the body. You think if you came in here and they were sitting over here, some of them passed out from drinking too much and eating too much, do you think you’d sit there and say, Praise Jesus, look at our dear brothers in Christ? Or do you think you’d judge them? You’ve got to judge them, rightfully so. This is why many of you are weak and sick, and a number of you have passed out or fallen asleep. What do you do when you eat too much and drink too much? Go to sleep. Some of you have probably had a little too much to eat and drink this morning, I’ve seen you, but if we judged ourselves, in other words, am I looking out after the body or just my own interests, you would not come under judgment from who? The rest of the body.

Bob George 15:16
Now when we’re judged by the Lord, which is what the Lord is doing here in this book. And folks, that’s what our Bible is. It’s a Book of Discipline. It’s a book of discipleship. And discipleship is discipline. The Lord is looking at what the Corinthians are doing and disciplining them with his word. He’s showing them you’re wrong. Remember where it says all scripture is for teaching and rebuke and all that? That’s what he’s doing. Now, when we’re judged by the Lord, we’ll be in discipline so that we’ll not be condemned with the world. In other words, the world, God is saying, I don’t want you to be looked at as just another person out there in the world, you’re different. You’ve been set apart. You’ve been set apart for truth.

So my brothers, when you come together, eat, wait for each other. That’s instruction. Wait for each other. If anyone’s hungry, eat at home, so that when you meet together, it will not result in judgment. So when we have the pot luck in a couple of weeks. If you’re that hungry, eat at home before you get here.

So guys, we’ve got these people, and to this day, you have people who claim to be born again, but are just merely professors, but not possessors. And so he says that there are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind autumn trees without fruit and uprooted, twice dead. They’re wild waves of the sea. These are pretty descriptive, aren’t they? Wild waves of the sea, destructive, in other words, foaming up their shame, wandering stars for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever. Then he talks about Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men see the Lord is coming with 1000s upon 1000s of His holy ones to judge everyone and to convict all the ungodly, of all the ungodly acts they’ve done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him. He’s talked about judging the lost. These men are grumblers and fault finders. They follow their own evil desires. They boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage. But dear friends, remember what the apostle of our Lord, Jesus Christ, foretold. They said to you, in the last times, there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires. And these are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit of God living in them, although they’re in religious work.

Can you be in religious work and not know the Lord? Better believe it. You better believe it. Did you read the article in the paper about the Baptist? Never would have said he was a minister or not, but he was a Baptist, and his wife was there, and her little, little, little cloth on her head. He had converted to Muslim. Do you see that in the paper as an article? And I thought to myself, What are you printing that for? Who cares? I mean, if you were a Muslim that converted to Christianity and put that in the paper, you’d hear, you’d hear an uproar. Well, what would you say about that guy who was a Baptist now is a Muslim? What would you say about what the Bible say about him? What? What’s a Bible verse that you know would be true about that? Exactly, they went out from us. How come? they were never a part of us? Was he a Baptist? Sure. Baptist. Was he saved? No, he’s a lost Baptist.

Can you have lost Presbyterians? You better believe it. How about lost Methodists? Or, better yet, any saved Methodist? How about Episcopalians? How about Catholics? You see guys because you belong to the club doesn’t make you saved. And so you have a lot of people who are professors or just denominationalists, but they weren’t saved. I was in a Presbyterian Church for 36 years of my life, all through high school. Probably never missed a Sunday, lost as you can get, but I was in church, so being in church does not make you a Christian. And so we follow our own instincts. We don’t have the Spirit of God living in us.

And the other thing we know about the fact that when we don’t have the Spirit of God living in us is you cannot understand spiritual things. Because if you’re saved, the Spirit of God is there to interpret it for you.

And so folks, we have enemies in our camp. We have to understand that, and it’s getting worse, and it will continue to get worse. As far as I’m concerned. I, quite frankly, have never taken End Times that seriously. But I personally think that we are in them. I think with what I see taking place in Israel, which has taken place since they became a nation, I think when I hear leaders that stand up and boldly say that our intention is to wipe Israel off of the face of the earth, I think you can figure out they have an enemy and also want to wipe the Christians off. And so we’re headed toward an Armageddon. There is no question about that. We are headed toward Armageddon. When that’s going to occur. We don’t know, but the signs are there. People who are declared enemies of this country and democracy are gaining and many have already gained, atomic warfare. That means we could blow ourselves up all humanity. And it says in the scripture, if Jesus didn’t come back, that’s exactly what we’d be doing. We’re so smart that we can develop bombs to kill millions. That’s how smart we get, smart enough to kill people. But we’re headed toward it, in my opinion. And so the issue is, are we ready? And the issue is, are we ready to see that God has set us apart, that He has given us the authority to go out and to help people to come to know Christ, Jesus, before those events occur.

And It’s my prayer that we’ll be more active than that. Every person sitting in this room knows people. And you know people who need to know the Lord. You know people many times that don’t have a place to worship on Sunday, and you have an opportunity of bringing them, because I do believe that they’re going to hear some truth. They may not like it, but they’re going to hear some truth, and truth sets people free. And if truth sets you free, error keeps you in bondage, and so folks, let’s get aware of the lost around us and help them to come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Let’s pray together. Father, let’s take time to just meditate in our own hearts as to where we are. There may be some in the sound of my voice that have never come to know you as your their personal Lord and Savior. They’ve come to understand the truth of what you said about us, that we’re sinners and in need of salvation, but never knew how to obtain salvation. It’s as simple as believing what you’ve heard that Jesus died for you, then so that raised from the dead, He can live in you now and to take up residence in you and to make you a child of God. If that’s anyone’s desire in this room or across the Internet or wherever it might be, just talk to God. Tell him that you need him. Thank him for the fact that he took away your sins at the Cross never to see them again. Thank him for the fact that he was raised from the dead so that that life that raised Him from the dead can now raise you from the dead to give you new life to be indwelt by God. If that’s your heart’s desire, and you’ve expressed that To God, you today have become a child of God, to as many as received Him, to them he gave the right to become a child of the living God. Thank him for that. Trust Him now that he will guide you and direct you into all truth. You will have your ups and downs, your good days and your bad days, but it never will, ever leave you, nor forsake you, and thank him for that. You’re in a process of growth, just like when you were born, physically, you’re in a process of physical growth. Father, we thank you for salvation that is ours in Christ, Jesus, and for the Word of God that we hold in our hand, that we can rely upon as the object of truth. And we pray these things in Jesus name and for his sake. Amen.
