Nothing Can Separate Us From the Love of God

~ “What then will we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? For He who spared not the own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, with Him, grant us all things? Who will bring an accusation against the elect of God? God is the One justifying. Who is the one condemning? For it is Christ Jesus, the one having died, now rather having been raised up, who is also at the right hand of God, and who is interceding for us.

Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it has been written:

“For Your sake we face death all the day;

we were regarded as sheep of slaughter.”

But in all these things, we more than conquer through the One having loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31-38

~ When a person is in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit is living in them for eternity. That is the meaning of Eternal Life. And when a person has the Holy Spirit living in them, it is for Life. Nothing can separate them from the Love of God, not even themselves. And this is something we constantly need to be reminded of, for the evil one comes along and tries to make us think, oh, did you see what you did, surely you can’t be a child of God doing this or that. And here is the key on all of this, it’s not what we do or don’t do that makes someone a child of God, it’s who do we place Faith in. When a person places Faith in Jesus, God in the flesh, the Holy Spirit is given to them immediately. It is not some future event as some claim. And as a reminder, no one gets their sins forgiven today, for ALL sins for ALL people, were taken away at the cross for ALL time, so that in Christ Jesus we could have eternal life.

~ Of His speaking these things, many believed in Him. Therefore Jesus was saying to the Hebrews having believed in Him, “If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set free you.” John 8:30-32

“Well, Randy, again, you’re it’s getting back to trust in the Lord with this type of thing. Regardless what happens, God is not going to forsake you and and he’s going to carry you through many times when we in our weakest moments are when Christ is able to to move in our lives. And it’s, it’s, it’s not unusual for you to walk through questioning. It just doesn’t make any sense. God loves you perfectly. He, He said, I will provide everything that you need for life and godliness. And he says, Trust me with that. And but I think that the that when you’re into financial situations, many people have gotten into financial situations and they they owe money and everything else. But there’s ways out of that, and there’s ways, many times of consolidation of bills and all kinds of things that can take place, and so those kind of things can be corrected. What is the sad thing in your life? Is the deal between you and your wife, and that that, to me, is sad, especially with her finding out the news in regard to her health, and she knows she doesn’t want to go through that by herself. She knows that, but there’s a pride situation. I’m sure there. I would, I would focus on trying to get that done. Randy, I’m glad you’ve got another job that’s bringing in some income. And you know, you never know what’s going to happen. God, could open up another avenue, or could start getting some raises, but you’re going to have to get out of that depression. The reason you’re depressed is because you’re thinking very, very negative, depressing thoughts. You’re built that way by God, whereby, As a man thinks so is he. And the reason you’re feeling depressed is because you’re thinking depressing thoughts. And what you have to do Randy is depressed, is to replace those depressing thoughts with with truth. If God be for you, who can be against you, grab a hold of that verse and hang on to it. If God is for me, who can be against me, nothing can separate me from the love of God. I can be separated from a money. I can be separated from my wife and be separated from my children, be separated from a job. But nothing can separate me from the love of God that I have in Christ, Jesus. And hang on to that love Randy, the fact that God loves you perfectly. And get your eyes off of your circumstances and get them on to Christ, Jesus, who is the solution to your circumstances and that depression will go away as you quit thinking depressing thoughts. It’s very difficult when you going through trials and tribulations, not to be anxious about tomorrow. Always thinking bad things about tomorrow. Bad things are going to happen tomorrow. That’s called anxiety, and tomorrow is God’s country. At Randy, we don’t belong up there. We don’t belong up there. The only thing you know about tomorrow is your Jesus that’s in your today is already there. And if that’s true and you can trust Jesus today, then you can trust him with tomorrow. And so try to now get your mind renewed on truth and and let that truth set you free try to put into effect anything that you can to talk to your wife, because she’s suffering as well right now. And, and I would, I would just really have a heart to heart, talk with her and say, Hey, let’s, let’s quit playing games. And, and I really want to talk to you. I love you. I want to be with you, and I want to take care of you. ~ Bob George
