Without Faith it is Impossible to Please God
~ “For the gospel reveals the righteousness of God that comes by faith from start to finish, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17 In this verse of Scripture, we see Faith as something a person lives by from first to last. From start to finish. It is not something they begin by Faith, and then go out in the energy of their flesh and do stuff for God or NOT do stuff the law says not to do. It is constantly trusting in God at every moment of every day to trust in the TRUSTWORTHY One of God to have done all that He said He did (took away all your sins at the cross), and to Trust in Him to do All that He said He would do in your life (never to leave you nor forsake you). And having been given His righteousness when we placed Faith in Him, He lives in us forever and ever and ever.
For this reason, we encourage people to get into the word of God, and allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind. For when you are taught by the Holy Spirit, you are taught by TRUTH. And He is the author of ALL TRUTH. So don’t let anyone place you on a guilt trip, not even yourself, due to some lousy thinking, or some lie you were taught by Satan’s transformed ministers. Stand firm in the Faith of Jesus. Stand firm on Him and not on you and what you are doing. And as we have said many times, don’t listen to the the teaching of Man, any man, for any man can be saying things in error whether we or they realize it or not, and take everything you hear to the Holy Spirit in prayer, and trust Him and Him alone to reveal ALL TRUTH to you. For it is Faith from first to last. The righteous shall live by Faith.
And in these days, more than ever, God is teaching those that are His children what Faith is All about. Abide in the teaching of the Holy Spirit today. For the details matter in everything. Pay attention to the details in the Word of God. Pay attention to the details the Holy Spirit is showing you in regards to Satan’s liars and deceivers in the world today. Pay attention to God and what He is teaching you in your life (the details). Do not disregard His discipline in your life. For the Lord disciplines those that He loves. And the discipline of the Lord is always upon those that are His children. And no discipline feels enjoyable at the time, but it leads to Righteousness (His Righteousness not our own).
Endure suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you do not experience discipline like everyone else, then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Furthermore, we have all had earthly fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them. Should we not much more submit to the Father of our spirits and live? Our fathers disciplined us for a short time as they thought best, but God disciplines us for our good, so that we may share in His holiness. No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:7-11
Consider having a Bible study yourself and teaching one or two others the Truth of the word of God. Those with ears, they will want to hear. We have many excellent Bible study books that are very easy to use that involve simply reading the word of God and answering the questions provided. The answers themselves are right there in the word of God.
For reason of this I bow my knees to the Father, from whom every family in the heavens and on earth is named, that He might give you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man, for Christ to dwell in your hearts through faith, being rooted and being founded in love, so that you may be fully able, with all the saints, to comprehend what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ surpassing knowledge, so that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God. Now to the One being able to do exceedingly above all things that we ask or think, according to the power working in us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21
Behold the Lamb of God Who Took Away the Sins of the World
Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

“The Lord, says that, like I was just saying, that without faith, it’s impossible to please God. And you say, how do you do that? By walking by faith. And you have to walk by faith, not in what you’re doing, but you walk by faith in what he has done. He is the initiator of all things, and you and I are the responder, not vice versa. And so when we’re walking by faith, what you’re doing is walking by faith in what he has completed for you. When you blow it, you have to say, Okay, what did God do in the midst of that sin that I just committed? What did Jesus do? Well, he took it away, didn’t he, took it away from the eyes of God, never to see it again. And if that’s true, and if you believe that is true, what would faith say? Thank you. What else could faith say, except thank you, Lord for the fact that you took away, saw fit to take away that sin. That would be the case with all sins that you commit. There is not one that he missed at the cross, and therefore the only thing you can do is to say thank you for the fact that you took that away from the eyes of God, but also Lord, thank You for the fact that I am a child of God. I’m a new creature in Christ. And therefore, if you’re living inside of me, which indeed you are, then I want you to lead me and continually to train this hard brain of mine as to why I have the tendency to listen to Satan and his lies. Because I know full well that’s who I’m listening to instead of listening to you. And God will renew that mind of yours, and he will continue to work on you until your mind is renewed and and you’re able to start walking more and more as time goes on, to be continually walking more and more in a dependency upon Christ, Jesus.
It’s your love of God. Solomon, it’s not that you loved him, but that he loves you first, and we respond to that. So it’s your love of God that then results in dependency upon God. Is God worthy of being dependent upon? Yes, and then that results in obedience to God. It’s in that order. And what we try to do is to get people obedient, apart from getting them in love, and all it is is just legalistic obedience that, quite frankly, doesn’t mean anything to God. And so the whole issue of walking by faith is to walk by faith in the fact that you are loved unconditionally by God. Nothing can separate you from that love of God. That is your motivator. And you can walk by faith in a person who loves you perfectly and unconditionally. And so as you draw near to Him and learn more about his love, you will find that that’s what it means, therefore, to be to be controlled by the Spirit of God.
I would recommend that you go to the book of Ephesians and turn to the third chapter of the book of Ephesians, and I would, I would memorize, I would memorize this, this passage of Scripture beginning in verse 14 of the third chapter of Solomon, because really, it’s the key to a continual walk of faith in Christ, Jesus. It says, For this reason, I kneel before the Father from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derive its name, and I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you with power through His spirit in your inner being.
Now, Solomon, we look at power in very, very strange ways. And what power is to us isn’t power from God. I mean, we name our football teams after powerful things, the bears and the lions and the Giants and I mean, who’s going to call their football team the Seattle sheep, where the the Los Angeles lambs? You know, we’re not going to do that. We look at powers, these big, powerful things. But the most powerful man that ever walked on the face of the earth was identified as who the Lamb of God that said that that took away the sins of the world. And so when he, when you hear that word power, get what we think of power out of your mind on it, it’s you’re going to find out what, what that power is. In a moment, it will continue to strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts, see, may dwell, be at home in your hearts, through what? Through faith. You’ve got to learn to walk by faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp, now there’s where you need the power of God is to grasp something, not to go out and do something big for Jesus or to preach in at a crusade, but that you may have the power to grasp something in your mind, I want to tell you something Solomon, Satan is doing everything in his power to keep you and to keep every Christian from grasping this truth. So that’s why it takes the power of God. It takes the power of God to to overpower what Satan is trying to do, and that’s keep you every way he can away from this truth. So I pray that you will have power, together with all the saints, to grasp, get in your mind, in the depth of your soul, how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you might be filled to the measure with all of the fullness of God.
Now, you’ve heard to be filled with the Spirit, haven’t you? Yes, okay, now that’s in Ephesians five. We’re just reading out of Ephesians three. You read Ephesians five. Be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit. And if you don’t know the context of that, it means anything that you want it to mean, if you’re charismatic, you can roll around on the floor, speak in tongues, do all kinds of things, or if you’re if you’re somebody else, that means to sit piously with your hands folded, and to look half sick at your stomach. All of those kind of things just depend on where you’re coming from. But you see, nobody goes back to the third chapter to find out what it means to be filled with the Spirit, to be controlled or filled with the Spirit means to be filled with the love of God. And so we just, he just told us what it meant. He said that you might be filled with the measure with all the fullness of God. And how could you be filled with the measure, with all the fullness of God and not be filled with the Spirit, you see? And how could you not? How could you be filled with the Spirit not be filled with the measure, with all the fullness of God? So of course, they’re one of the same. Well, then what does it mean? Let’s get off of what this means that you’re speaking in tongues, or you’re rolling around on the floor, or you’re lifting your hands up. Are you getting them piously in your lap, or all that garbage? That’s all stuff that we do. It says, no, no, no, no, that’s not what it is. Anybody can imitate that stuff. But what it means to be filled with the Spirit, to be filled to the measure with all the fullness of God, is to come to a point that passes understanding, where you have gotten a hold of and grasped how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge. So you can come to the point like the apostle Paul of saying, I’m convinced of something, nothing can separate me from the love of God. Amen, that’s faith. And Solomon, that’s what you walk in. And you may blow it, and you may do this, and you think that, oh, man, I didn’t do this, or didn’t get that stuff out of your head, and say, if I am walking in a dependent relationship on the love of God, basking in the fact that I am totally loved and accepted by the God of this universe, He will lead me into the steps of righteousness, and so I will follow where he leads me. If he wants me to talk to somebody about Jesus, sure I’m available do that. If He wants to go give a cup of water to somebody, I’ll do that but, but it ain’t going to do you an ounce of good to do those things if you don’t understand the love of God. So just keep walking by faith, learning more and more and more the end of that passage. Now to him, that’s God who is able to do immeasurably more than all that we ask or imagine, according to His power, not mine or yours, his power that is at work within us, His power is at work within you. To him, be glory in the church. And in Christ, Jesus, throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. There’s your there’s the way that you walk in a Christian life. Walk by Faith. Well, not in what you’re doing, in what he’s done.” ~ Bob George
