Verify in the Word of God to See if Things Are True as Stated by Others

~ We hear a lot of things today, where some member of a band or some well known movie star, “supposedly” becomes a Christian. And low and behold, years later they show their true colors. And folks, it’s all by design from Satan to get a person to focus on this person or that person instead of the word of God. When you dig down into the details, and now we even have additional insight into these details because everything is quickly at our fingertips online, and we can see what others believe and even what other pastors teach, in regards to their understanding of salvation, or what they think of salvation as believing the lie that a person gets their sins forgiven when they repent of all their sins, and these are nothing more than stories in the so called news, to get you to focus on that person, instead of the Truth of the word of God. People fall for these stories hook, line and sinker. They hear a story, that this person simply became a Christian, because that is what the news media reported, and that is good enough for them to believe it is true. And so the deception goes on, without checking the facts of what a person believes or what they were taught by some pastor. And the deception is greater than most imagine, where Satan has deceived all the Nations.

And now we have 20/20 in hindsight vision, because we can quickly identify the lies. And if a person doesn’t know Truth to begin with, they will never even question what a person says, and simply fall for the keywords being used, that such and such “became a Christian.” And we who have been taught by the Holy Spirit know these things, and have studied for ourselves in the Word of God. We can see for ourselves, through the eyes of God what is going on. And today’s program is filled with a background story of such and such having become a “Christian.” And the person telling the story, fell for the story hook, line and sinker of this person becoming a “Christian.” However, years later, we can see they went out from us, because they were never a part of us. Anyone can do the research online, on any well known entities. We are not going to list the name here. Do the research yourself to see. The answers are at your fingertips. The bottom line is that you’ve got people who are professors of Christ, but are not possessors of Christ.

This is true in Christian circles as well. Just because someone claims to be a “Christian” does not make them a child of God. For they are NOT teaching the Truth in the word of God. They have perverted the very foundation of the Word of God, and have either believed in another Jesus based on their own imagination, or they were intentionally put there by Satan himself to be transformed as it were as ministers of righteousness to deceive their followers into believing the lies in regards to what salvation is. They will say things like, “Jesus didn’t really die for the sins of the whole world.” Or “Jesus only died for the elect.” Or “Repent of all your sins, to get forgiveness.” Or any of the dozens of lies that are sold by Satan and his agents. So be as a Berean today, and study the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings are TRUE.

Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true. Acts 17:11

Consider having a Bible study yourself and teaching one or two others the Truth of the word of God. Those with ears, they will want to hear. We have many excellent Bible study books that are very easy to use that involve simply reading the word of God and answering the questions provided. The answers themselves are right there in the word of God.

Behold the Lamb of God Who Took Away the Sins of the World

Lord Jesus, teach me the TRUTH of the world we live in today and the Truth of You.

~ “Justin, let me, let me share with you from what has been 40 years of experience, I think that some of the most dangerous people in the world are people who were musicians, singers, actors, ball players, who all of a sudden become Christians. The reason for that is they immediately want to go in to use their talent, which is not necessarily God given, but could be man learned talent. They think for the Lord, and they never grow. They just play their music or do their acting or do their ball playing, and they never grow. I’ve seen guys 20 years, 20 years later don’t know anything more about the LORD than the day they were saying. Saved again. I’m drawn upon an awful lot of experience, and the advice I’m going to the advice I’m giving you, is worth heeding. If when you’re a brand new Christian, you’re called a babe in Christ, and a babe in Christ needs to be fed and nurtured and grow slowly but surely. You wouldn’t take a babe that had just been born again and stick him in a music group or back out on a basketball court, or a businessman put him on the circuit. He needs time to be fed, doesn’t it time to grow, time to be nurtured. And when you short circuit that Justin, you’re going to end up 5, 10 years from now, still a babe in Christ, now meeting problems of a person 10 years older than what you are with the maturity of a young baby. And so to me, rather than thinking about what I should be doing. I would live my life very normal right now, but I would, I would recognize the fact that right now, my most important thing is to get to know the height and depth and breadth and width of the love of God, and as the scripture says, to know this love that surpasses knowledge in order to be controlled by the Spirit of God and to study the Scripture, just like I was telling the other gentleman Justin, study the scripture on your own. Do not depend upon others, because others can lead you down a primrose path. I’ve told people for 22 years on the air, don’t believe what I’m telling you. I could be lying out my teeth to you. So I don’t want you depending on me, or I don’t want you to depend on this pastor or anyone else they could be leading you astray in regard to biblical knowledge. And the only way you’re going to know whether someone is teaching truth or not is if you yourself, who are indwelt by the Spirit of God, goes into the Word of God with an attitude of dependency and lets God teach you individually, then you’ll know whether I’m teaching you truth, or you’ll know when someone else is teaching you truth. But if God hadn’t taught you, you don’t know, and you can be tossed to and fro, as the Bible says, by every wave of doctrine and ultimately destroyed. Satan certainly didn’t want you to come to Christ, but he’s lost you to Jesus. Now he’ll do everything in his power to keep you from coming to know truth. And so dedicate yourself to become a man of truth, not a man of truth that I’ve learned from a pastor, from a radio ministry or television, but a man of truth that has learned the truth from the author of truth, who is Christ, Jesus. I’ve learned it direct out of the word, and I’ve allowed the Spirit of God, who lives in me, to work in my life and to reveal to me the truth of the Word of God. That may take a year, may take two years, just and after you’ve matured and grown into a certain point, just like you couldn’t have gone in a band at age nine, but 19, you can. So it’s the same thing. Let that type of thing sit on the sideline for a while. Maybe do it as a supplement, but don’t let it become a substitute for your growing in your knowledge of Christ. That’s the only major advice that I could give to you.” ~ Bob George
