The Life of Jesus is Our Comfort and Peace

~ Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit, the one that would teach us all things and our advocate, and the very Life of Jesus. And that happened on the day of Pentecost, and on the very day that we placed faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit came to indwell us too. He is our Comforter. He is our Advocate. He is our Peace that lives inside of us. He is our Eternal Life. We tend to forget that God is living in His temple today (the body of every believer is the temple of God). He is always there to comfort us no matter what we are going through. He will be right there with us through the storms of life. So stand firm on Jesus, who is our everything. Point people to Jesus, not to a particular verse of the bible. Many times people will camp out in the Old Covenant, and will forget which side of the cross they are actually living on today.

Thank Jesus For Everything

~ Our confession of faith means to thank Jesus for everything that he has done for us and for giving us life in Him too. Confession in Greek means to offer thanksgiving to God. When you are offering thanksgiving to God, you are agreeing with Him. You have accepted the fact that he forgave ALL your sins at the cross. You are accepting the fact that he rose from the dead. You are accepting the fact that the same Holy Spirit that gave Jesus life is the same Holy Spirit that gives you life. You are accepting the fact that Jesus now lives in you if you are in Christ Jesus and he is in you. You are accepting the fact that he wants to live his life in and through you. You are accepting the fact that you are the temple of God. You are accepting the fact that he has made you holy. You are accepting the fact that he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do Not Be Anxious About Anything for Jesus is Our Thanksgiving

~ Jesus is indeed our thanksgiving. Everything we have to be thankful for is found in Him. So spend this day and all the days of our lives thanking Him for what he has done for us. Share that with others. Trust in Him to lead you in all understanding. Trust in Him to lead you in all Truth. Trust in Him to live His life in and through you. Don’t fret about anything. For He is alive living in each and every true believer today. So give thanks to Jesus our Lord and Savior. Share his Love with others.

Jesus is Our Thanksgiving

~ We have much to be thankful for today, but the biggest thing to be thankful for if you are in Christ Jesus is the fact that the Holy Spirit lives in you, gave you eternal life, and will never leave you. We are to focus on him, and his righteousness, and his life living in and through us. We cannot live his life, and he never expected us to. Satan wants you to think that you personally can live the Christian life. Satan will go out of his way to show you how to clean up your flesh. He will induce pride in you based on you thinking that God is pleased with you when you get this sin or that sin “taken care of” yet that is when you are the most vulnerable. Because there are people that go around pretending that they have repented of ALL of their sins when in reality they don’t have a clue what repentance really means. They have trusted in the teaching of man instead of the teaching of God.

Faith Says “Thank You” to God For What He Has Already Done

~ So many times, Satan and his agents have changed the meaning of Greek words used in the Scriptures to mean something completely different from what God intends them to be. We have to go back to the original meaning of those words for us to have the proper understanding of the word of God. The word “confession” in the Greek is one of them. First off, we need to address what the word confession does NOT mean. It does NOT mean to ask for forgiveness by God. It does NOT mean to go to the Catholic confession booth and ask a priest for forgiveness. It does NOT mean going into your virtual Protestant confession booth and asking forgiveness from God directly either.
