The Life of Jesus is Our Comfort and Peace

~ Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit, the one that would teach us all things and our advocate, and the very Life of Jesus. And that happened on the day of Pentecost, and on the very day that we placed faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit came to indwell us too. He is our Comforter. He is our Advocate. He is our Peace that lives inside of us. He is our Eternal Life. We tend to forget that God is living in His temple today (the body of every believer is the temple of God). He is always there to comfort us no matter what we are going through. He will be right there with us through the storms of life. So stand firm on Jesus, who is our everything. Point people to Jesus, not to a particular verse of the bible. Many times people will camp out in the Old Covenant, and will forget which side of the cross they are actually living on today.

Anger is Fear in Disguise ~ Perfect Love Drives Out All Fear!

~ So many times when we get angry with someone, it is a reaction to our own fleshly fears. We are fearful of this happening or that happening, instead of resting in the perfect love of God. We all tend to let our flesh get in the way of responding properly to the totality of the word of God and that he causes all things to work together for good to those that love him. Additionally, there are people walking around in total fear today, because they do not know the Lord. They are not in Christ to begin with. Those that walk in fear and unbelief in their hearts have only to look forward to the lake of fire, the second death. They never placed faith in Jesus to begin with. In these last days it is becoming easier and easier to identify the tares from the wheat as the harvest is near.

A Star Shines on King Jesus!

When you think of all the things spoken by the prophets, that were fulfilled in Christ, and how sovereign God is, that everything He has said has come to pass, who, in their right mind, would not come to choose Life? The star stood over the place where Jesus lay, just as it was spoken through the prophet. Jesus shall be called Emmanuel, and we see the transfiguration, where a voice from heaven says, “Listen to him. This is My Beloved Son”. God spoke to Joseph and Mary through dreams, and what had been spoken through the prophets was fulfilled, such as Jesus would be called a Nazarene. As a new believer, you will tend to have more of a struggle in overcoming sinful habits, and that is not unusual, as you are just now on the starting line of having your mind renewed. Even as you mature in Christ, you will continue in that process of having your mind renewed until the day we meet the Lord. We will all continue to battle the flesh, and God knows our weaknesses and tendencies. We are all reminded to guard our life and doctrine closely and take heed that we do not fall, and to be gentle and humble toward others, as we ourselves could easily get caught up in any sin ourselves.
