If You Are in Christ Jesus Count Yourself Dead to Sin

~ If you are not being asked the question, or people are not accusing you of giving people a license to sin, you can bet you are NOT teaching the truth of the word of God. Because when the Truth of the Gospel is taught, this question always comes up. What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? And the answer is by no means! A person asking the question in the first place doesn’t understand what salvation is. Salvation is not getting your sins forgiven, it is receiving the Holy Spirit in you when you agree with God. Don’t let people put you on a guilt trip. They are the ones that are walking around in unbelief. They are the ones who are actually doing the license to sin. Jesus Wants You to Enter Into The Promised Land

~ Just as the Israelites of the days they came out of Egypt and crossed over the Red Sea, by the power of God, they still refused to go into the promised land, we are much like them today. They refused to trust God and refused to cross over from the desert, into a land flowing with milk and honey. So too with us. We get saved and are set free from being a slave in Egypt, but still live as a slave in the desert. We fail to trust God and cross over into the promised land. We can be busy and barren in the desert or we can live in the promised land that Jesus provided for us and be rich and alive in Christ Jesus, where you rest from your works and live in Him. Receive Jesus and His Eternal Life in You and His Righteousness Imputed to You

What transpired at the Trial and Crucifixion of Jesus reveals who Jesus is and what He came to do. Jesus is God, He died in our place in order to give us eternal life. He came to be a king of a new kingdom not of this world, for His kingdom is to be lived within you, His righteousness imputed to you.

As you read again in the gospel of John, in John 18:28-40, where Jesus appears on trial before Pontius Pilate, with the kinds of questions Jesus is asked and His answer, and the unbelievable hypocrisy of the Jewish leaders, and the willingness of the Roman rulers to be so complicit in what ultimately led to His crucifixion, what insight, what understanding can you glean as to who Jesus is and His purpose on this earth? Can you come to a conclusion on not only what he died for but what He came for, as it relates to the meaning of not only the cross but also the resurrection?
