Holyness Comes From God, Not Ourselves

~ “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” Hebrews 10:14

~ Only by abiding in the Holy Spirit can we do the works God sets out before us. And note that good works are not what we have been led to believe, When we listen to the Holy Spirit say to us, speak TRUTH, and we speak up, we are doing the good works of God. When God wants you to speak to that person over there, who is hurting, and He wants you to have compassion on that person, and listen to what they are going through in their life, then lend a loving ear and try and understand what they are going through, so you may be able to share Jesus with them in their time of need. If the Holy Spirit doesn’t want you doing something, and you listen to Him, then you are doing the good works of God. Furthermore, we have been taught by religion to go out and try and be holy, all the while forgetting that Jesus has made you holy by His sacrafice for your sins at the cross, and enter into that TRUTH through Faith in the Faithful One of God to have done what He said He completed at the cross, for forgiveness is finished, and there is now no more forgiveness to be executed on your behalf. When you place Faith in that TRUTH then you are doing the works of God. When you are around others who are lost, and you share Jesus with them, you are doing the works of God. So the works of God is all about His works happening in and through us when we are children of God. And know this, that the person who is in Christ Jesus has been set apart by TRUTH, Jesus Himself. Don’t listen to these fake hypocritical (actors on stage) who think they keep the law as part of the works of God. And they are proud of it too, and will go out of their way to try and prove to others that they are always keeping the Law that was handed out by Moses. By their very actions they deny the New Covenant we live under today. Don’t listen to them, stop promoting them, and instead tell it like it is. That is the TRUE work of God. Sharing the TRUTH of God.

“Holiness comes from God, Tina, and to be holy means to be set apart for the distinct purpose for which God created you. In other words, be set apart to be used by God. It’s the same root case as sanctified, to be, and that’s something that God did for us. It isn’t something that we do, nor do we improve on holiness. God made you holy, he made you set apart. All you have to do in this world, and boy, can you see that from the past election. All you have to do is to claim that you’re a born-again Christian, and you are set apart from the world, aren’t you, in every way, shape, or form. You go to school as a teenager and say, I’m a born-again Christian, and you are set apart from the world just by the fact that you are a born again believer. Now you can’t improve on that, Tina. And people try to improve on it by the way they wear their hair, and the way they have long dresses, where they wear jewelry, or where they don’t, and all that kind of stuff, which is utter nonsense, because it’s all exterior, and and what you’re set apart is by the word of God. The word of God is what sets you apart from every single person on the face of the earth that does not know Christ Jesus.” ~ Bob George
