Only Worship God And Quit Bowing Down to Idols

~ Jesus sent his angel to the apostle John to explain the meaning of things to John and show him the things that “Must Soon Take Place.” And John fell down to worship before the feet of the angel. And the angel corrected John, saying, Don’t do that. Don’t worship angels, for angels are fellow servants of God. Only worship God alone. Yet today, we worship so many things, by paying tribute to things that are demonic and have no clue. While people may not be bowing down physically to angels today, there are many that are actually bowing down in their hearts to demons and Man today, as though there are some super saints, or super people so to speak. And if you don’t believe that, all you have to do is look to see what people are posting on their social media pages today. They are posting things that are lies of the world as though we should honor some person we didn’t even know, and have no clue if they truly knew Jesus or NOT. How much sense does that even make, to put a person on the idol stand today, no matter what? Yet Satan strokes the flesh big time and says, look what this person did or what that one did, as though they are righteous based on what a person does. Satan even plays up religion, saying that we need to get back to religion, as though religion is going to solve the world’s or the Nation’s problems.

It’s very strange that people are falling for the deception, even those that say they know the TRUTH, and understand that religion is what they say they were set free of, and found out of where the lies are being taught in regards to ONGOING forgiveness for example, and about the TRUTH of the Word of God, Jesus Himself. How quickly people seem to forget today, that it was religion that took them off the strait and narrow path, and put them on the wide path of works righteousness. You have to wonder, who are they listening to today? Because it certainly isn’t The Holy Spirit God who they are listening to. Most are watching the Tell-a-Vision, or listening to the voices on the radio, or online and are believing what demons tell them to believe instead of listening to the Holy Spirit teach TRUTH. Think about it folks. Can you not see what is going on in the world today? Think about where we are at today. Think about your own heart. Think about how easy it is for satan to manipulate our flesh by what we view with our eye gates and our ear gates. Haven’t you noticed how your emotions can be easily triggered at the drop of a hat? Then even recently, what do you think about and dwell upon the rest of the day or week? Honesty here folks. Don’t put faith in the lies you see or hear around you, but in everything take it to the word of God in prayer and ask for wisdom and understanding directly from God. The warning for today is, Stop worshipping at the feet of demons today. And learn to identify who the demons really are.

Revelation 22:6-13

6 Then the angel said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel to show His servants what must soon take place.”

7 “Behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of prophecy in this book.”

8 And I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things. 9 But he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”

10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of prophecy in this book, because the time is near. 11 Let the unrighteous continue to be unrighteous, and the vile continue to be vile; let the righteous continue to practice righteousness, and the holy continue to be holy.”

12 “Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

Bob George discusses addiction, particularly alcoholism, with a caller named Chuck from Denver, emphasizing that addiction is a misplaced dependency. Bob explains that humans are inherently dependent on God but often seek fulfillment elsewhere, leading to addictions. He suggests that Chuck shift his dependency from alcohol to Christ. Bob also advises Chuck to join a small group Bible study for support. Another caller, Andy, seeks advice on a friend considering leaving his wife. Bob advises identifying the friend’s spiritual condition and addressing any deception. Rita praises the impact of understanding her identity in Christ on her prayer life. Larry seeks clarification on Revelation 22:6-21, which Bob explains as a warning against adding to or subtracting from the prophecy of the book along with not to worship anyone or any being (angels for example) other than God alone.

“Well, you gotta, you gotta get up to who he’s talking to, behold, I’m coming soon. He said, Blessed is he and you again, who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book. I John is the one who heard and saw these things, and when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. And he said to me, don’t do it. In other words, I guess, don’t worship me. I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers, and with your brothers, the prophets and all who keep the words of this book, worship God. In other words, don’t worship me. Don’t worship angels. Don’t worship Paul, don’t worship Calvin. Don’t worship Luther. You worship God alone, period. And then he told me, Don’t seal up the words of this prophecy. In other words, don’t seal it up and keep it to yourself, because this needs to be spread to other people. So in other words, it isn’t something to seal up, it’s something to keep open and let him who does wrong continue to do wrong. What all that means is, I guess, whatever a person’s doing, let him continue to do it. Yes, but he said I’m coming soon, and my reward is with me, and I’ll give to everyone according to what he’s done. I’m the alpha, the Omega, the first and last, the beginning of the end. So he’s talking about end times.” – Bob George
