God Doesn’t Tempt Anyone, Nor Can God be Tempted!

~ “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:” James 1:13

~ We blame God for so many things in the world today instead of putting the blame on where it should be, on the evil one. Satan even has the Christian world blaming God on the fall and even the creation of the world, as though God didn’t do his job properly. Let’s start with the basics. It’s so important for us to understand that God cannot be tempted, nor does God tempt anyone. God created us with a freewill and the ability to choose. Some people get into the mode of thinking that because God foreknew what was going to happen in the Garden of Eden and with everything else, they then place the blame on God for all the wrongs and evil in the world. But here is the thing, we are not God, we are not all knowing as God is. His foreknowledge is for God and Him alone. That’s God’s territory not ours. We can rest in Him, the Only One Who is Good, through faith alone and let God handle the things that we have no clue about.

~ There is only one sin attributed to man today, and that is unbelief in Jesus. “Jesus took away the sins of the entire world. And when you, and there’s only one sin attributable to man, and that’s this, Jesus said it the world sin is unbelief in me. And so the only sin that God is ever going to ask, the only question he’s going to ask you or me is what did you do with my son? Did you accept Him or reject Him? If you accepted him, you’re born again. Your sins have been put behind the back of God. Now the sin of rejection of Jesus is no longer in existence. And you’re born again of the Spirit of God. And there is no sin that will cause you to lose the life that God has given to you period and makes no difference what it is. And so we have to understand the truth of that. And therefore everything, the questions that comes up is funneled through that premise.”
