Learn To Lean on Jesus For The Peace That Passes ALL Understanding

~ “I have spoken these things to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

~ Jesus told us that we would have tribulation in this world, so we should not be surprised when we face tribulation. But take courage, because when we are in Christ, He Lives in us as a True Born Again believer, and is ALWAYS with us. And here is a key point in scripture, that God will cause all things to work together for the good of those that love Him, who are called according to His purpose.

~ “And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

~ All who are in Christ Jesus have the Holy Spirit living in us, and He is the one renewing our mind constantly. And there is much today that we need our mind’s renewed about. Many of us focus on the world and what is happening there, instead of focusing on Jesus, the Word of God who lives in us. When God wants you to do something, do it. When God doesn’t want you to do something, don’t do it. When the Holy Spirit wants you to speak, speak, when He doesn’t want you to speak, don’t speak. When living your life after you become born again of the Spirit of God, allow Him to internally lead you are your path that He has placed before you. We are to live our lives by Faith from first to last. And when facing Tribulation, which we certainly ALL face, give it over to Him instead of focusing on the bad that is happening. For the Spirit of God will teach you ALL Truth and make known the things of God and ALL TRUTH and the things that are to come. And don’t forget, the apostles certainly had a lot of bad things happening to them during the Tribulation period they were in. Yet they stood firm to the end, because they had God’s Holy Spirit living in them.

~ “But when He the, Spirit of truth, shall come, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak from Himself, but whatever He may hear, He will speak. And He will declare to you the things coming.” John 16:13

~ Lean not on your own understanding of anything today, because nothing is as it seems. We are living in a season of GREAT deception, that only He can show you what is really going on. Ask Him for Wisdom and understanding and He will give it with great abundance without finding fault.

Bob George’s radio show featured callers seeking spiritual guidance. Gloria from Irving, Texas, expressed her struggles with adversity, and Bob emphasized that Christians will face tribulations but should find peace in trusting Christ. Bill from Langley questioned the comprehensive nature of salvation, and Bob affirmed that all aspects of salvation are in Christ. Michael from Westland appreciated Bob’s teachings on law and grace and sought clarification on 1 John 5:7, which Bob explained as the Father, Word, and Holy Spirit. Joey from Santa Ana sought understanding of Luke 1:77, and Bob explained that salvation through forgiveness of sins was the primary focus for John the Baptist. Rachel from Waco questioned the anti-Christ nature of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and Bob confirmed it due to their denial of Jesus’ deity. Lastly, Rachel inquired about church fundraising, and Bob advised against tithing, advocating for free will giving.

“Well, I can’t, you know again, there’s no way you know. There are some people that that, that say, Well, what you need to do is to pray. And what you need do is this. What you need to do is that. But in the final analysis, if you are praying to God, what you’re going to have to pray for is that he renew your mind. And that’s what counseling is. That’s what the word of God is. That’s what discipleship is, allowing God to speak to you through His Word, whether it be given to you by one of his messengers, where it be given to you direct out of your word, or whatever it might be. But what he wants to do is to get your mind renewed and Gloria again, whatever circumstance you’re going through. And God knows what that circumstance is, and so do you. God is bigger than any of those circumstances. And I have personally never gone through a problem yet that in time I wasn’t able to look back on and say, well, the Lord caused that to work together for my good. I didn’t like going through it. He never makes a bad situation good. There’s no such thing as making bad good. What he said is, I will cause it to work together for your good. But when something bad happens to somebody, he doesn’t come along say, Oh, that wasn’t bad. I’ll make it good. It was bad. But he says, I can cause it to work together for your good. And when you stand up like that Gloria and you trust the Lord, you get stronger. The people that I know that have no character are people that been sheltered all of their lives from adversity, and there are people without any character, and the Bible says that that that all of these trials and tribulation is what builds character. I’ve told God a couple times I’m as big a character as I want to be. Cause I’ve had all I can take. I understand. But the issue is. Because it builds you in your strength, because if you don’t learn how to deal with some of the smaller things of life, then you’re going to get crumbled with the big ones. I’ve always said to people, that’s one of the very that’s one of the dangers that you, that I have observed through the years, is you take people that age 15, 16, begin to cop out of their problems using drugs or alcohol or something that just numbs you from your problem instead of dealing with it, you just cop out. Well, you keep doing that for 15 years, and here you start copping out at 15, and now you’re 25 at 15, you had 15 year old problems. 25 you’ve got 25 year old problems with the maturity of a 15 year old because you’ve never matured. You’ve never allowed yourself to mature. You’ve copped out. So now here you’re met with a 25 year old problem, or a 60 year old problem, and because you’ve copped out on something else all your life, like I say, you got the maturity of a 15 year old and the age of a 50 year old, and that’s what crumbles you. So you look at trials and tribulation as a as a building block and as a strengthening. Why? Because God knows, as you get older, you’re going to run into bigger problems. And so let these experiences, as hard as they are, realize that God’s going to bring that to a fruitation someday. It’s not the end of the world, it seems like it, but when you look back on it. You’re going to see how he was able to strengthen you in the midst of it.” – Bob George
