Faith Says Thank You to God For Completed Forgiveness at the Cross

~ Today, we have a world filled with false teachers that continue to spread the lies of Satan in regards to getting more forgiveness by God. Most people refuse to walk by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. They have not finalized the cross in their own minds, and they keep on asking God for what He has already done. There is no more forgiveness that God is going to give out. Forgiveness was completed at the cross. No one, NO ONE gets their sins forgiven today, because without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness by God. And God is never going to go to the cross again. And when He returns, he is not coming back to earth to deal with sin, He is returning to bring ultimate salvation for all the saints waiting for Him.

Stop listening to the false teachers that spread the lies of Satan today. Stop programming your mind with false teaching, and there is an abundance of false teaching going on today. Instead freely allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind, and don’t fight Him on Truth. For if you abide in the Holy Spirit, the Truth will indeed set you free. Have a teachable spirit. And if you are in Christ Jesus, then the Holy Spirit is alive living in you. He will teach you all truth. Ask Him for wisdom and understanding, and He will give it to you.

Faith says, “Thank you God for having forgiven all my sins, including the one I just did and thought in my mind. Thank you for NOT counting my sins against me. Thank you for making me a saint, a child of God.”

~ so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. ^{Hebrews 9:28}

~ In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. ^{Hebrews 9:22}

~ that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. ^{2 Corinthians 5:19}

~ “Now, I did have a final question, because you mentioned that, that he that God has put all the sins behind him for us and he in Christ died for us. So when in the case that we do sin, how are we are we not to ask for forgiveness, since this is already done, or we just tell God that we’re sorry for that?” – Earnest

~ “Well, Earnest again, that depends on whether we want to walk by faith or tradition. And there’s a lot of controversy on this type of thing. There’s, there’s no place in the Scripture in the new covenant in which we live today that took place at the death of Christ Jesus, and I’m talking about his death forward in the New Covenant. And in that New Covenant, he said, their sins and lawless acts, I will remember no more. And were these have been forgiven, not will be but have been forgiven. There’s no longer any sacrifice for sins. Now, we’re told without the shedding of blood for a sacrifice, there is no forgiveness. And so if there was any further forgiveness, to be executed on your, on my behalf by God, he would have to come and sacrifice himself again, he’s not going to do that is He? And he says, when he comes back, he’s not coming back to bear sin, but to bring salvation for those who are waiting for him. And the reason that he’s not coming back to bear sin, he’s already done so and he’s not going to do it again. And so if that is true, which it is that Jesus took away the sins of the entire world, then you and I, as a child of God, and I’m talking about a child of God, now, it says in him, and are you in him? Yes, I am. In Him, you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. So if you are in Him, you possess something, you possess redemption, you possess forgiveness, it isn’t something you get, it’s something you got. And that’s why there’s no verse in the Scripture telling a believer to ask God to forgive him, is because it’s not that they forgot something, it’s that they knew something that we evidently have forgotten or never knew. And that is, it’s finished. It’s done. So in the event, and so when we do sin, and then we all do, what can we do is thank God we have to win if I’m going to walk by faith, and I’m going to walk by faith in what he has accomplished for me, and what he’s accomplished for me, so he’s taken away those sins and I have to say, Lord, thank you for that. I’m not anymore trying to get a black mark off of my record. It’s finished, it’s over, he has already forgiven that sin. And I say thank you for that. And then also to recognize because the Spirit of God is now living in you and me to recognize what the law never ever dealt with only the Spirit of God. And that is that the root of that sin is unbelief. Why did you, a person go out and commit adultery because they believe the lie of Satan that this was going to be fun and great and denied the truth of Jesus that says, This is not the way to live to live in holiness and purity. Go out and steal something. Why did we do that? What’s the root of that? I went out and stole something I know you did. But what why did you do that? Well, I’ll tell you why. Because instead of trusting Jesus for your provision, you out there trusting in in the energy, your own flesh. So the root of all sin is unbelief. So that’s what you then go to the Lord with to say, Lord, it’s obviously that I was not trusting you with this, renew my mind, teach me truth, and set me free with that. And that’s the way you deal with the sin issue, thanking him for what’s already been accomplished. And then turning to him for his discipleship in your life, of renewing your mind and teaching you truth and setting you free with it. Beautiful. It’s good. It’s good news. Sure.
