Sanctify Them by The Truth; Your Word is Truth

~ If a person wants to know the things of God, a person needs to dig into the word of God and read it. Truth is found in the word of God. Yet there are many people today that no longer read the word of God. Some think, that once you have read the word of God, that’s all that is necessary. Does that ring true in your heart if you want to get to know the author? Jesus is throughout the Word, and is the Word, so wouldn’t a child of God want to read the Word of God repeatedly? Wouldn’t the Holy Spirit want us to focus on TRUTH? Of course He would. So that brings to light, is a person really saved if they absolutely do not want to read the word of God? If a person has the Holy Spirit living in them, do we really believe that the Spirit would tell our spirit not to read the Word of God in order to have a better understanding of things? Of course not.

It’s time to wake up, and be a Truth Teller.

John 1:14
~ “The WORD became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and TRUTH.

Bob George addressed callers’ questions on the Bible’s authenticity, emphasizing its truth and necessity for spiritual guidance. He criticized mysticism and argued that the Bible’s accuracy is supported by historical findings. On predestination, Bob explained that while God chooses all to be saved, only those who accept this choice are saved. He discussed the balance between free will and God’s sovereignty, using examples from the New Testament. Bob also addressed concerns about legalism and fear in spiritual life, advising replacement of fearful thoughts with the perfect love of God. Lastly, he discussed the appropriateness of church music, advocating for respectful dialogue within the church community.

“Well, they had to learn that nonsense from somebody, didn’t they? John, somebody had to tell him, you know, because Jesus said, Your word is truth and, it’s the word of God that became flesh, and it’s the word of God that lives in us. And Jesus said the word is truth. So how are you going to find truth apart from the Word of God? So these are people that are basically dealing in mysticism. John, they’re more mystics, and they think that they could just sit around and God’s going to just reveal all this stuff to them apart from the Word of God. I’ve known people like that, John, and I’ve known people that knew better, but yet got involved in that, because it makes them feel like they’ve got a special relationship with God and a special ability to hear God’s voice that nobody else has, and that kind of puts them in an exclusive an exclusive area. Your Gnostic teaching was that what you now are hearing about more and more because of the DaVinci Code, that people finally are gaining to understand that these Gnostics were quite prevalent back in Jesus day and in the early apostles day, and that their teaching was very, very mystical. So a person who thinks that you don’t have to study the Word of God is just total, they’re out in a mysticism, and sooner or later, it’ll fall down upon them, John, because you cannot sustain yourself apart from knowing truth. There’s no way to know what truth is apart from the Word of God. If I didn’t have the word of God in front of me, I wouldn’t know what truth was. So the word of God is where you’re going to find truth.~ Bob George
