Unbelief in Jesus is The Only Sin That Surely Can Be and Needs Repented Of

~ “In regard to sin, because they do not believe in Me;” John 16:9

~ The only sin that keeps a person from eternal Life is unbelief in Jesus. And understanding this sin, and the need in repententance (change your mind) about who Jesus is, God in flesh, and what He did on the cross for you, took away all your sins from the eyes of God and is no longer counting any sins against you. However, in order to receive Eternal Life in Christ Jesus, a person must place Faith in the Faithful One of God, Jesus God Himself, and immediatly a person will receive the Holy Spirit for Life. They will become born again of the Spirit of God. They will have the very Life of Jesus living in and through them for ALL eternity.

If a person refuses the drawing of the Holy Spirit, and refuses Jesus Himself, they will remain dead, because they would rather try doing things their own way of salvation, and think God will grade on the curve. Be aware, there is no grading curve. It is simply One Way in Christ Jesus for Life, and every other way is eternal death. And when a person says, “I’ll do it my way,” they are refusing to listen to the Holy Spriit for Life.

“Well, Andy, first of all, Jesus said that the world’s sin is unbelief in Him. In the Old Testament, you had God the Father proclaiming the coming of the Son. In the New Testament, you have the Son that is here, and then you have the Holy Spirit, whose job Jesus said was to go into the world and to convince the world wrong about sin and about righteousness and about judgment and about sin. He said, because they don’t believe in me. So, when a person ultimately blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, they’ve literally blasphemed against the totality of the testimony of God. They’ve blasphemed against the Father. They said, I don’t believe him. They blasphemed against the Son, they say, “Don’t believe him. And now the final is the Holy Spirit of God. So there is so the only sin that is attributable to man is the sin of the rejection of the Son of God. And so there is no way that that could be interpreted in any other way, except anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven. In other words, Jesus is kind of secondary to the Holy Spirit, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven either in this age, the age to come. Well, again, no one will be unforgiven except to deny Jesus Christ, and so blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is blasphemy against the Spirit’s testimony about Christ Jesus, the final testimony of the Godhead.” ~ Bob George
