Salvation is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus ~ We Are Saved Completely When the Holy Spirit Comes to Live in Us
~ People are confused with the idea that salvation by God is permanent and eternal. Part of the problem is that most people don’t understand what salvation is. Salvation is Life, eternal Life in Him. It is not a question of getting your sins forgiven today, for He forgave you all your sins on the cross nearly 2000 years ago. All of your sins were future when Jesus went to a cross, and He saw all of them and placed them on himself, forgiving you of all of them at the cross. If He did not forgive you of all of the them to begin with, then the next time you sinned, the Holy Spirit would depart from you. And that’s not going to happen. He said He will never leave us nor forsake us. Nothing can separate us from His love once we are in Christ Jesus. Nothing, not even ourselves can separate us from Him! Once you are joined together with Him, it is permanent, forever, eternal. Rejoice in the Truth. Shout it from the rooftops. Share the truth with others.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35-39
